That's great news. You must be so relieved and pleased. My scan is next Thursday xx

Adrya · 27/10/2017 18:32

I am feeling better, although as you know it’s difficult to fully relax at this stage as still so early...they said the right side pain was caused by the corpus luteum on my right ovary, and that has subsided quite a bit today which is good...keeping everything crossed for you for Thursday! xx

Drttc · 02/11/2017 07:28

Just catching up after disappearing for a bit!
Congrats on all the BFP's! This thread is looking so successful!

Luna how did your recent scan go?

Seeking how are you?

Harriet when's your 20 week scan? Any news on gender?

Justla are you totally loving wearing winter comfies with a bump?

I'm 18 wks +2 days and bumpie is definitely becoming more obvious depending on what I wear. Loveeee this time of year so hoping on enjoying everything Autumn/Christmas as a preggo to replace the lack of wine :-P Had a gender scan and in complete shock that I'm having a girl!!!! A little sister for my little boy to take care of. I'm so excited for this new adventure :-D 20 week scan is November 17th, right before we go on holiday. Praying it goes well so we can ride off and celebrate!

Drttc · 02/11/2017 07:30

Oh and I started feeling kicks at 15 weeks! DH was feeling them on me by 16 weeks- can't believe it's so early. Last light little lady was delivering some proper womps and DH couldn't get over how well he could feel her. Here's hoping she doesn't have a temper lol

Adrya · 02/11/2017 07:41

Hi Hope, good luck with your scan today, and hoping you’re feeling better xx

Bala03 · 02/11/2017 18:29

harrietm87 · 03/11/2017 11:27

Hello all, sorry haven't been on the thread for a while!

Congrats bala sounds like you're doing great! I'm actually 17+5 today! It's great being off the meds, didn't have any withdrawal and just feel like my old self now. Won't be long for you!

drttc congrats on your little girl- how exciting!!! We're at such similar stages - my 20 week scan is 20th Nov, so 2 weeks on Monday. We're not finding out but I have a hunch it's a boy! (Don't mind either way). Im getting a bit of a bump now, but only really shows in the evening so suspect it's mostly wind! Not sure whether I've felt movements yet - have had the odd flutter but nothing consistent or definite. Can't wait until I can feel them from the outside!

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Drttc · 03/11/2017 22:16

Great news Bala! I agree with hubby that it's time to enjoy the moment :-)

Haha Harriet I was convinced I was having a 2nd boy! My brain nearly exploded when we found out she was a girl. DH was like 'I knew it' and not the least bit surprised... So weird! You'll be feeling little one any day now... So exciting!

LunaB · 04/11/2017 05:56

Hi everyone, I’ve totally stopped receiving notifications for this thread for some reason so I’ve missed loads!!!

@Bala congrats on everything going so well!!! And how exciting you’ll tell your mum now!!! ❤️

@Adrya and @Hope things are looking good I see & you are both doing really well fighting off The Fear - it’s a real buzz kill isn’t it 😫 (deffo put cyclogest up bums lol!)

@Drttc a GIRL! It’s so impossible to imagine another gender to your first; you must be over the moon! I still can’t believe you’ve done all this drug free 😁😁

I’m good; feeling shattered & very nauseous the last 10 days and basically all I can do is eat to try and settle my stomach! I’ve had 2 good scans and measuring 9 weeks on Monday... so HOPEFULLY I’ll get to the magic safe zone soon and can relax a bit!

Fingers and toes crossed for everyone 🤞

#PredHeadPower

Hopeflower · 04/11/2017 19:53

I have not had any notifications either.

Great to see so much exciting and positive news. I had my scan on Thursday and it went well. Seemed strange to have a good scan. Measuring the right amount saw/heard the heartbeat. Next scan on the 11th, so now hoping that will be good too. Trying not to think about it and taking each day as it comes.

It's so hopeful to read all the positive stories and lovely comments xx

Adrya · 05/11/2017 17:59

No notifications here either, not sure whether I’ve changed something without realising??
@ Hope - so glad the scan went well and you saw / heard the little one’s heartbeat, must have been an amazing feeling! How many weeks are you now?
@ All the other lovely ladies - so thrilled to hear you’re all doing well at the stages you’re at, and thank you so much for the lovely comments and encouragement messages! xxx
My next scan is on Friday the 10th, we’re hoping to see/hear the heartbeat, as I should be between 6.5-7 weeks, I am so nervous about it though it’s really difficult to keep calm!

PoppyJ1 · 06/11/2017 18:16

Hi all, Ive stopped getting notifications agin, even for messages I'm tagged in! Sorry I've missed so much!

@Drttc Congratulations! A little girl, that's lovely news. So happy to see your pregnancy flourishing x

@Bala03 Great news, congratulations and all the best for the big reveals! Or have you already told family now? I'm good thanks, in my two week wait again so I've increased the Prednisolone again but I'm feeling much better after two weeks on the lower dose. Fingers crossed for this cycle as always x

Drttc · 06/11/2017 18:58

Ah I'm not getting the notifications either! I only got an email now because I was tagged. How annoying... Miss you ladies!

How are you @PoppyJ1 ?

So glad to hear it's going perfectly @LunaB - when's your next scan?

ferntwist · 07/11/2017 08:03

Hello everyone and congratulations on all the good news.
An update from me, I had my first scan yesterday, 6 weeks and 1 day. Delighted to say a heartbeat was found and the baby was the right size. That means I finally got to start my pred this morning! My consultant had wanted me to wait til the first heartbeat.
Don't think I've ever been so excited to take four little tablets. Looking forward to joining the ranks of the moon-faced ones!

harrietm87 · 07/11/2017 09:28

Congratulations ferntwist! Strange that you start on pred after heartbeat - I’d never get to the heartbeat stage without the pred. It’s so great when you see that little flutter isn’t it? I remember being in utter disbelief at mine.

Hope everyone else is well.

LunaB · 07/11/2017 14:32

WOW so many little heartbeats!!! Amazing!! What a lucky thread this is!!!

I had a good scan today, I’m 9 weeks and things are so far lookimg good!

bernard105 · 07/11/2017 16:59

Hi all, hoping this is the right thread for me to be on! A little about me....I've had 6 miscarriages since 2013. 3 under 6 weeks, 2 at 8 weeks and an ERPC at 11 weeks. I have one son (nearly 2) who arrived miraculously after the 3rd miscarriage, so 3 more since he arrived. Currently under Mr Shehata following the complex NK cells program and half way through my first cycle of superovulation. And breathe....! Just looking for a bit of hand holding! All getting a bit much!! Looking at all the pregnanciyon this thread and hoping it's catching! X

ferntwist · 07/11/2017 23:08

Thank you Harriet and Luna and congratulations on your scan. I've been dying to start the pred. My consultant Prof Brosens at Coventry said he didn't want me to start it too soon and flood my womb with too much. I can tell it's working as I can't sleep. Hope it's helping my little one and all of ours.
Welcome Bernard and so sorry to hear of your losses. That must have been a terrible journey. Fingers crossed for you under Dr S.

JustLa · 08/11/2017 00:06

Hi all, just catching up after having zero notifications to remind me :/

@Drttc How amazing, 18 weeks!
I’m actually trying to wear tighter clothes so I don’t look like a whale as by bump is enormous!
Lovely to hear you’re doing so well and congrats on it being a girl- one of each! 🙌🏼

@Bala Things seem to be going well thanks! Struggling with excessive Braxton Hicks but they seem to have calmed down a little.
Great to hear you and baby are going strong! How many weeks are you now?

@Hopeflower it’s crazy when you’re only used to bad scans so expect the worst, then get good results! I cried every time in first 14-16 weeks, was so emosh!!
Good luck for the next scan 💗

@Adrya Oh wow, the 10th is a big day for you! I expect the scanxiety will be kicking in soon if it hasn’t already. Good luck, I’m sure you don’t need it 🤞🏻🌟

@Ferntwist A HB, that’s amazing news! Get that pred down you and prepare for bloating, moonface, heightened emotions, a beard... and a successful pregnancy! Congrats 🤞🏻

@Bernard105 Welcome to the group. So sorry for your shitty run of losses but congrats on your son! Mr S’s plan has been so successful for so many of us so far🤞🏻 you’re in good hands and on the right track to getting your 🌈 😊

I’m 24 weeks tomorrow, that’s viability!!! I can’t believe I’m doing this, so thrilled 😊

xxx

ferntwist · 08/11/2017 00:10

JustLa viability! That's fantastic. So happy to hear all the good news.

PoppyJ1 · 08/11/2017 14:02

@Drttc I'm fine thanks! In my 2ww and have managed the last 2-3 cycles without spotting (my luteal phase has actually increased by a couple of days) so I'm fairly hopeful.

@ferntwist Congratulations! I always feel a little flutter of joy when someone reports seeing a heartbeat!

@bernard105 Welcome and sorry for your losses. All the best for the new journey; lots of inspirational success stories here!

@JustLa So, so, so happy about your scan. Well done for holding it together up until now, I know it's been a rollercoaster.

@Bala03 How has the feedback been from family on your wonderful news?!

Adrya · 10/11/2017 16:55

Hi lovely ladies, I’ve missed so many good news stories and encouragement messages due to the lack of notifications - well done for all the progress with your pregnancies and thank you all for your kind thoughts!
I was such a nervous wreck this week, but had the scan today, was dated 6w5d, and saw the heartbeat, our first heartbeat ever! Was even given a due date as 1st July! We’re both cautiously optimistic, as still so early and so much can happen...but praying everything progresses well, next scan in 2 weeks.
How’s everybody getting on with scans, milestones, etc.?
xxx

Kakaboo · 10/11/2017 17:42

Hello ladies I’ve not been on here in ages apologies, I’ll try and do better I’ve missed so much I gave up reading the backlog🙄, although obviously I’m up to date with the fb group. Hello to all the new members 👋. @bernard105 so sorry you had a horrible time u poor little love but ur in the right hands with Dr S. I am also on the super ovulation program with him. Congrats to all the gorgeous preggo‘ ladies on here with their successful scans, keep up the good work! Wink

ferntwist · 10/11/2017 19:08

Hello Kakaboo and Adrya and huge congratulations on your scan. First ever heartbeat, that's so exciting!
We are due on the same day (God willing).
Can I ask what protocol you're following and about your previous losses if you're happy to share?
Fingers crossed for all of us!

Adrya · 10/11/2017 19:48

Hi @ferntwist, wow, we’re due on same day, how amazing! Of course I don’t mind sharing - 4 losses, first just before 7 weeks, never heard a heartbeat, the rest very early, before 6 weeks, since Feb 2016 when we first started trying. I have fallen preg every cycle we tried, so no problem there, just unable to stay preg...now on Dr S protocol through NHS (I’m extremely lucky as I live in Epsom, where the hospital his NHS clinic is). I have been diagnosed with normal NK cells but highly aggressive, and sticky blood. I’m on 25 pred from ovulation day, baby aspirin, preg vits plus extra vit D, and the dreadful Fragmin injections. Fortunately I don’t seem to have many side effects from the steroids, just waking up during the night, but not for long. No moonface or weight gain so far!
Can I ask what protocol you’re on?
xx
