Anyone due to test around 18th Aug?

Just out the other side of a weekend of sex Grin finally get a break now. Think I'm 2/3dpo and will be due to test around 18th August.

My stats

Age -29
Cycle - 1 after mc 3 weeks ago (decided to not wait to try again Blush )
Ttc - #2 (ds 19mo)

Anyone want to join me you'd be more than welcome!

Hey @nissi and @syd and everyone! How are you guys? I'm getting so impatient. A week to wait until AF is due, bleurgh. My boobs are super achy too Syd, and am a bit crampy as well. Trying not to read too much into everything but it's so hard isn't it? Went through tidying the house like a dose of salts earlier and tried to convince myself that it was 'nesting' symptoms, lol!

6dpo today I think? Feeling a bit achey in the lower back but of course that probably means nothing!
Had a brilliant idea to arrange to go out for cocktails with friends next Friday when AF is due, so if the witch comes I can at least have a good night! Wine Can always invent an excuse not to drink in the unlikely event I get good news Smile

Hey i think im 4dpo. I think i ov early. Ive had mild cramps. But as this is my first month ttc,so i really dunno if its a good sign and if im looking into it to much. Ive ordred some clear blue and some first response test thinking i shouldnt test until the 19th as not 100% when i ov. X

New here!

AF due 21 August and this is our first month TTC for our first baby.

Was hoping to take an early detection test on the 16th as it's my husbands birthday on the 17th and don't think I could give him a better surprise if we've been lucky enough!

Does anyone else test early or just wait until missed AF? X

Hey Nicolle468 that would be a lovely birthday surprise for him. I think some show up like 3 days before af due date. Its my first month ttc with first baby so maybe see if any of the other girls know 100%, but im thinking might be a few days to early to tell on the 16th. How long are your cycles. X

Welcome @nicolle! Back in June I tested 12dpo and got my bfp (went on to mc).

This time I'm going to hold off as long as possible. I'm in the mindset that the less time I know for the less attached I'll get.
In reality I'll probably be testing from 10dpo Grin

@Nissi7 Cycle is 28 days, usually ovulate on day 16.

The clear blue early detection tests say you can test from 5 days before AF is due but for me that would only be testing 9 DPO Hmm.

I don't know, will just have to wait and see!

Not getting my hopes up as it's only the first month TTC just would have been nice timing.

@whytheheckme So sorry to hear that, I imagine it's difficult not to get attached even after what's happened. Fingers crossed for you.

Hi girlies, hope you all enjoy your holidays 😊 would have loved one myself but it was either holiday or redecorate the house and the house won lol.
Cd19 today for me. No idea if i ov as never got a +ve, id loads of ewcm for a few days so im convinced i missed the surge as one day test was really dark (still not +ve) then next day and from then on in til now its been almost barely visable.
Anyone using the ovia app to track your cycle??
Ive been using it and it really frustrates me that there isnt an option to select creamy cm. Only ewcm, watery, school glue or none.I have creamy at the minute but had a streak of cloudy ewcm today&yesterday. No idea what that means or if its a good or bad sign but im sure ill find out next week lol.
Ive been peeing like mad the past 3 days its driving me insane constantly waking during the night 3 or 4 times bursting to go.

Hows everyone elses 2ww going?xx

I'm with you @whytheheck, I'm trying so hard to hold out until AF is officially late before testing. I'm 7 or possibly 8 dpo today on CD 23. Usually have a 28/29 day cycle so expecting AF on Thursday. Or hopefully not! X

My cycles are between 24 and 28 days, I came off the pill in April and they're still finding their own drum beat, let's say...

Last cycle was 24 days, one before that was 28 and one before that was 25 days, so who knows! This has made me worried that my luteal phase is too short, anyone else had that?

I'm on cycle day 18, so AF could be due from 18th August to 22nd August. Any pointers on when you think I should test? I dread the BFN so I'm thinking about leaving it until mid week... I'll be on holiday then too!

Welcome @pgtips! Never too late to join :) the more the merrier. I'd recommend holding off testing until at least around 12dpo if possible, just because if it's negative you'll then just wonder if it's because you tested early.

@Loobylou our dates are very similar! I'm either 7 or 8 dpo today (got my +ve opk last Thursday how about you?)

I'm expecting AF on Thursday!

How have you been feeling? I'm having a lot of back pain and felt a little nauseous today. I'm sure I'm just symptom spotting something that isn't there though....

whytheheckme I'm also 7dpo ish and today I've been feeling sick when my stomach is empty (settles after i eat) and I've had low back pain all day.
I hope this is a good sign and not my mind playing tricks Hmm Smile

@whattheheck I didn't do an opk so I'm just guessing based on the day my boobs started to get sore, which they always do right after ovulation. I think it was last Friday but might have been the day before. Boobs are still killing me now and have been getting weird cramps and hot flushes which i never got on the pill, so... ?!? Will have to wait another week to know for sure, argh! Sending you lots of luck and baby dust! X

Been having very tingly boobs for the last few days, feels like the let down of breastfeeding from dd and been googling like mad to see if that's a sign! Seriously take this phone away from me...

I'm due on 22 but I'm planning on doing a super early test on the 18th as I will be traveling that day and I feel like doing the test before instead of on vacation.
I will be around 10 DPO by then and in my previous pregnancies I would get faint BFP by then (even tho I know each one can be different)

I'm in a bit of a dilemma now, as DP just had close family death. On one hand getting preggers might be a positive to take his mind off it, but might also just be to much to deal with all at once. Nothing I can do about it now, but puts a different spin on this months 2WW...

@syd youre not on your own, i just did the same thing and afs not due for another 5 days. Ooops. The only thing that prompted me to test is because my nipples feel like they are bruised, its so weird. Will we slap each other?? Lol

Keeping everything crossed for everyone here and let's hope this month sees some bfps :)

Can I ask - is anyone having symtoms? I'm currently feeling convinced I must be pregnant. I'm either 8 or 9dpo. I feel so sick and my boobs hurt, I wish I paid more I attention during previous months as to whether I feel like this. Why is it as soon as you're 'trying' everything becomes a symptom!?

Sore boobs but that's about it Hmm

5 dpo, so don't know if that's too early for any symptoms.

Like you said, wish I paid more attention previous months what/when I felt things. I know I always get sore boobs before AF, but it's still 7 days away and can't remember if I normally get sore this soon.

Oh well if not, I will know for next month that that's normal! X
