Anyone due to test around 18th Aug?

Just out the other side of a weekend of sex finally get a break now. Think I'm 2/3dpo and will be due to test around 18th August.

My stats

Age -29
Cycle - 1 after mc 3 weeks ago (decided to not wait to try again )
Ttc - #2 (ds 19mo)

Anyone want to join me you'd be more than welcome!

So (not to get your hopes up) it could still be too early. You aren't out yet!

I'm sorry to hear you've had a bfn @intelligentPutty , you said you have a range of cycle dates so I gather AF isn't regular as such, what's the average so far? If it helps I tested on Wednesday and was bfn and today it's saying I'm 2-3 weeks.

@UppityStitch Don't worry I'm still in game! Will test again in morning (10/11dpo). Not exactly sure when to expect AF ... anytime between Sun and Weds?! Will just keep poas!

@intelligentPutty - you're still in game too! I've heard of people getting BFNs upto 14dpo or later then getting BFP!

@Penny31 so weird.. can't imagine a digital giving a false positive., they need at least 50 miu of HCG. I would re test / see GP if no AF arrives

Hi guys! I've not written in a while but I've been checking in and reading how everyone's been getting on. Congratulations to all the bfps!!

Penny, just a thought but is there any chance the other tests aren't picking it up because of a slightly different time of day you're testing? Maybe it's just too early on you be consistent? Really hoping for you you get another bfp!

I've not tested yet, I'm 11 dpo and desperately trying to hold off until Monday! My cycles have been as short as 24 days recently, so I'm pleased I'm at least having a cycle!

My husband and I are on holiday, we arrived today. I keep thinking it would be okay to test earlier then Monday... I should hold off, right? I brought 4 tests with me!

Not many symptoms other than a strange pinching/ stabbing pain in my uterus (or thereabouts!). Anyone else had this?

@PGTips83 thinking about it now I had a stabbing pain for 3/4 seconds a few days ago now I've had BFP am thinking it was implantation so could well be the same for you! If you can hold out well done but you have four after all

It's all a bit up and down since mmc in may. Since then I had only 1 proper cycle. And it was spotting on day 29 af on day 30.
So I guess that's my base line for the moment.

I shouldn't have tested today. My own stupid fault. I think I'd rather see af than a bfn.

Ladies, I caved and peed this morning as I couldn't sleep, and... I think I've just received my BFP!! I'm not going crazy, right? This is what I think it is? It's never happened before!

I just got BFN (10/11 dpo). My uterus has been feeling weird and tight since last night. Don't think I've noticed that preAF before but don't want to get my hopes up!

That definitely looks like a line to me @PGTips83 congratulations!!!! Have you got a second test handy?! Seems stabby pains are a good thing in this instance! Love this thread

@intelligentPutty so there's definitely still time then if it's around a 29/30 day cycle, when will you test next do you think?

Thank you all! Yes, I've got two digital ones and a cheapie. I think I'll do the digital one tomorrow or Monday as I'm only 12 dpo today.

My symptoms have been really weird so fat, for the past week I've had what's felt like a very mild UTI that won't go away, and yes, the on/off stabby pains that haven't stopped! Tender boobs, but so far less than they would be just before my period.

Really hoping we continue to see more BFPs on this thread!

Very wise @Uppity! I'm just using cheapy amazon tests, which I've read mixed reviews of, and yes @Wonderfully, AF may not be due until Weds this month! Or might be today - who knows! DP back today so that will help distract me 😊

@Chooklass. How many U/mls are they? I still have a cheapie Wilko test but it's 20 which probably isn't sensitive enough just yet. I've got a pot of FMU sitting in the bathroom in case I cave

It says they are 10 mIU/ml, so should be quite sensitive? I'll probably just keep testing every morning til AF now! Haven't decided yet whether BFN is more depressing than AF. Think getting BFNs helps prepare me!

I only have one cb digital in the cupboard so don't want to waste it.

I have no willpower and did a test as I knew I couldn't last until Monday. Another resounding BFN! Not surprised in the slightest but there's still hope I guess
