Please please someone help me get some answers! I'm worried sick
I no my last period was around the end of May I want to say around 17th but can't be completely positive.. My cycle is usually date to date so 28-31 days I think! I don't keep track of my periods! I was having sex with guy# 1 all throughout may & June but we split up end of June and I had sex with guy#2 on 23th June this was around 2am in the morning so 24th very early morning i done a clear blue pregnancy test on 29th June 6 days after & it came up positive.. Could a home pregnancy test detect that early? I done a didgital clear blue pregnancy test on the 1st July and it said 3+ weeks ..someone please is ther any possibility it's guy#2 from 23th 24th June or will this baby be from sex in May and June with guy#1? This is really important to me as it's weather I end this pregnancy or not

A dating scan is not going to tell you when you ovulated and most likely conceived. An estimated gestation age is only accurate to 7 days either side of the estimated due date. A DNA test will be the only way to be completely sure who the father.

It doesn't matter when she ovulated, you don't get a positive pregnancy 5 days after sex unless you were already pregnant before that!

Also think number 1 but worth getting a scan... Rare bit could happen that hcg very high due to twins but I doubt it. Hope you're ok and it goes well x

Didn't mean to sound judgemental so apologies if I did. So many people seem to think nothing of having uprotected sex when they're old enough to know better. I was a teenager in the 80s when Aids was at the forefront of everyone's minds, it was drummed into us to always use condoms, I really don't understand why anyone wouldn't.

Hi everyone I had my scan this morning ..They have given me dates of 10 weeks 5days have to go back in a couple of weeks for another scan not sure why? Baby's heartbeat was fine an baby was clearly there... Do you guys still think it's guy#1 with these dates???

To me it seems pregnancy started 2nd June, so conceived around 2 weeks later 16th June. Sperm can love for 5 days so had sex between 11th and 16th. I am no expert though. And the 2 weeks will be am average figure.

Nhs will date from first day of last menstrual period (LMP). So if they're saying baby is 10 plus 4 they are counting from 02 June 2017 as first day of LMP and conceived roughly 2 weeks after that i.e. 16 June. That's very approximate. So more likely man 1? If you think actually your LMP was 17 May then the above wouldn't be correct but it'd be even less likely to be man 2 as you'd be ovulating 5 weeks after period? I would think it'd be very unusual to get a positive test so soon after sex with man 2.

On digital - unlike NHS these date from conception not LMP so 3 weeks is really 5 weeks. So test on 29th would indicate that you had conceived no later than 08 June. That's more in line with your estimate of your period being 17 May. But these digital tests are not very reliable for dating. The scan could be out by a week or so at this stage, 12 weeks is the best point for scan dating.

All points to man 1 (but not 100%). Dating scan in two weeks should help. How are you feeling OP? Is pregnancy shock? Do you have a pref over father of child etc? Hope you're ok.

Dating scans can be a week out though. My friend broke up with guy 1 and had sex with new bf guy 2 a week later. Doctors tests suggested guy 1 was the father, supposedly more accurate dating scan said no way guy 1 could possibly be the dad and it was guy 2. So entire pregnancy and birth thought guy 2 was the dad, but guy 1 family insisted on DNA test and turned out guy 1 WAS the dad. She only had a few days between them though and got pregnant probably the very last time she was with guy 1. If a test is saying 3+ weeks and you had only had 5 days since guy 2 its almost certainly guy 1 in your case.

She said today when she done the scan approx 10 weeks 6 days .. But wrote down 10 weeks 5 days..counting back 10 weeks 5 days from today I got may 26th/27th so if that was my lmp wouldn't that mean I concieved around 10th June? & there's no chance it's sex with guy 2 that happened 23rd June?
It would also make the digital clear blue test result I took back on 1st July correct reading a 3+ ..which would actually mean 5+ right?

Sorry yes 10 plus 5 takes you back to 26 May! (I counted back from 10 weeks and stopped at 1 rather than 0 sorry). So conception roughly 09 June which chimes with CBD (although rem these are not very reliable).

I would certainly get checked for STIs, you appear to have been having unprotected sex with both these men, which was extremely rash of you, especially as you don't keep an eye on your cycle.

It's probably guy 1. I understand that you want it to be guy 2 but if your dates are reasonably correct it just won't be.

It's your child too, even if you don't like who the father is. Make your decision based on what you want. Don't let guy 1 or 2 cloud your judgment.

Hi I have more accurate dates now so could you please help.
I had the first scan and had to go back because baby was too small to get proper mesurements they put my due date for 02/03/18 for first scan a couple of weeks later I went back and they put my due date at 27/02/2018 that's what I have been sticking by in my notes my last month period is written as 15/05/17 I don't no how accurate they can get it? But sounds about right to me? So could you please tell me if baby is from sex in May & June or from 23/24th June? Does any one no when I would of been due on my period after my period in May? Please help me understand

I used an online calculator and with a due date of 27th February it says conception was likely to be between 01/06 and 06/06.

It's guy no. 1 OP. That hasn't changed since you last posted. You had a positive pregnancy test saying 3+ weeks pregnant only 5/6 days after having sex with guy no. 2. It's just not possible that he's the dad. Clearly you want him to be, but your ex is the father.
