We're sort of ttc baby no.2 and i'm 45!! No.1 conceived at 40. Am i crazy.?! Do i really want to do it all again at my age?! 41 was bad enough ..but also wonderful. But to do it all again. We're about to move out of a rented house to a new shared ownership 2 bed so if we have no.2 there would be no 3rd bedroom as there's no way we can afford a 3 bed!..and i'm really happy with just one (baby that is, not bedroom. Lol). .it's much more manageable all round having one ...So this morning i get this opk result..never tried them before..and suddenly i think omg now we'll have to dtd and i don't really want to just like first time round! So scared and yet something drives you to do it. Pesky mother nature! So is this test def positive? If you have a faint 2nd line it says negative. But the longer i leave it the brighter it gets. Aagghh!!

Yes very def Pos. Mrs Lady!! good luck!! Let us know how it goes won't you?! It took us 2 years to have DS1 and i was 41 when i had him. Not much chance of another at 45 but you never know! ! Xx

Morning booseysmom has it got any darker at all? I'm on cd17 and it's defo back negative. Don't know if Iv done enough just have to wait and see now. It's so hard all this really don't know why I'm doing it to myself again. 2WW for me 🤞🤞 Xz

First cycle wasn't planned was kind of a realisation moment for us. Had a few issues and had surgery in may. Had my marina put back in to be told two weeks ago it's out and I have an infection. So had just finished period and thought fuck it this is a sign let's go with it and see what happens.... very very nervous so as both my girls were prem so still not 100% xx

Sorry to hear about your girls.That must've been awful. It's natural to worry if you've had that experience. I had that merina coil in and got an infection too. I hadn't even had any kids and they put it in and it hurt like fuck! Worse than any period. More like a mc. Never had the back in coil since. No pill or implant or depo or anything. Just left it to nature. But never tried very hard ttc which i feel bad about. I had 2 mcs then fell preg with my DS at 40! Mcs were so painful ..puts me off trying again big time

Iv had it twice and both times it's dislodged itself..... this time with infection. Had it put in under General this time to make sure was placed correctly but nope it's out!! So playing with nature now xx

BooseysMom looks like you will require a 3rd bed if not bedroom , looks very positive to me and somehow i feel you wouldnt mind another child afterall all they bring is happiness and sometimes a change of luck that might put you in situation where you can afford a 3 bedroom

Yea we only managed 4 times last month twice round the right time 😩 It's the shift work..... literally passing ships! X

Hi Lady, not bad. Sorry for late reply. .was at a party. Was going to ask how are you feeling? I've been feeling very moody and have nearly divorced DH!! Hence i went to a party without him! When i got back he wasn't there and i thought shit he's left me!! Phoned him and he was on his way back. So all ok now. Too early for me to test..how about you?? Xx

I'm reading this- I hadn't realised it could come and go so quickly, I had a slightly lighter line Saturday and then didn't test till today which is definitely negative. Didn't realise this means it's probably come and gone! Not sure how I feel about potentially catching this month, was quite relieved dtd Saturday to think it wasn't in the window (1st month trying for #2). Sorry to derail

It's so hard with these little strips. I'd defo invest in clear blue. Think that's going to be my next move as this second guessing is no fun x
