Hi ladies, I am new to mumsnet. We are ttc our third baby. I am Day 15 of a normally 26 day cycle. My most fertile day was Wednesday according to the ovia app. Never charted my cycle before. Today I have egg white consistency discharge with a little bit of pink through it. Just wondering what this could be? Never had it before. X

juneybean · 02/06/2017 19:03

mummy likely just blood from a strong ovulation, you're only 2dpo so can't imagine it's anything else.

MummyGofboys · 02/06/2017 19:04

Thanks mummy, iv never known when I ovulated so it's all a bit confusing. Last two times I just had sex and hoped for the best lol. Xx

MummyGofboys · 02/06/2017 19:05

Juney not mummy

emanne · 02/06/2017 19:17

I'm 6/7dpo (worked out right now) a few symptoms, very painful to touch nipples, darker than usual round the edges which I've never had before. Af is due around the 8th, had sharp shooting/stabbing pain in the bottom left of my belly this afternoon to the point I squirmed! Been asleep for the past 2 hours for absolutely no reason just exhausted. Temp is through the roof, not sure if I'm just plain poorly! Hmm this is TMI (Sorry) but just been to the loo and wiped and there was pale red/brown watery stuff, not proper blood but it looked watered down. Was only a small amount but usually when AF arrives straight away I get terrible cramps I don't have that yet, could it be an implantation 'bleed'? Xx

Clacton · 02/06/2017 20:55

Hi all!!!

Emanne that definitely seems like implantation to me! How exciting and fingers crossed!!!

EMH that was my first month after coming off the implant so must have just been my own hormones. I had symptoms I didn't even know were symptoms at that point (headaches etc) but it resulted in BFN. Finally got my first period in May after coming off the implant at end of Jan so I suppose I should count this as cycle 1.

Angharad that is a strange one! Hopefully the symptoms mean what we all want!

I've been off my food the last few days (not like me at all!) and I've eaten out the last few days and not been able to eat. And tonight I had to have a glass of wine (MIL bought without me knowing and REALLY don't want them to know we are TTC) and I couldn't drink it. Had to give her half back n make out Id already had one and was driving....

I do feel for the men too! But they definitely don't have it as hard as us. OH thinks that everything changes when you find out you get pregnant so doesn't understand why I don't want to have a drink or be around smokers or have coffee - but maybe I am being OTT. What is everyone else's view?

LinzLinz · 02/06/2017 21:56

Hi KubaLeebre I'm unsure where I'm at with my cycles as it's my first month off the pill but I'm guessing I'm due on around the 15th so I could be your 2WW buddy!! Good luck everyone! Is this your first KubaLeebre? X

LinzLinz · 02/06/2017 22:01

Sorry my thread got jumbled up and I've just replied to a post from a few days ago...! Anyway looking forward to hearing about everyone's journeys!

Cherylttcagain · 03/06/2017 07:00

Hey Clacton,

I try and do what I'd do if I was pregnant, so cut down on my tea, no alcohol, cut down/out certain foods. I just want to start off as I mean to go on.

I wouldn't judge anyone who did it differently but for me if I'm going to have to do it anyway then I might as well start now :)

EMHW123 · 03/06/2017 07:30

Morning! Still brown spotting when I wipe here! Sorry tmi! Definitely think Aunt Flo now Envytwins is interesting though ang they run in my oh family! 🙊

Clacton I pretty much only gave up caffeine, I gave up smoking 2 years ago. I won't give up booze until I get a positive test! Each to their own though it's what everyone is comfortable with.

Might still poas tomo for the hell of it!

Happy Saturday and welcome to all the newbies!

Cherylttcagain · 03/06/2017 07:47

EMHW, how long have you been spotting? Does AF usually start like that for you?

If you were going to test on sunday anyway, you might as well go ahead. ;)

I'm already thinking I'll test on monday with a first response since it'll be 6 days until AF is due.

EMHW123 · 03/06/2017 07:53

Hey Cheryl, tbh I noticed it on Thursday but only after a...ahem... deep wipe Blush so done that yesterday and this morning again and it's still there. Aunt Flo normally starts much more red. It'll be my body playing tricks ah tell you!

How are you feeling?! Fingers crossed for Monday!!!

Cherylttcagain · 03/06/2017 08:02

I'm still hoping for you then, since this isn't usual for you AF!!

I'm good, feel normal today, but didn't have symptoms with my first 2 pregnancies (inc no morning sickness!), so I'm still feeling cautiously hopeful :)

Cherylttcagain · 03/06/2017 08:03

*your AF

EMHW123 · 03/06/2017 08:10

This is our first, I've no idea of what to expect. Super excited.

Finally found the most amazing partner after years with assholes and it would just be the most wonderful thing for us now. I'm 34 and he's 37 so time is ticking a little.

Awww how lovely for you guys having a third! I'd love that! I always took having kids for granted but they really are such blessings.... although when they grow up they tend to show complete indifference 😂

emanne · 03/06/2017 08:40

Ahhh AF arrived last night Sad looks like I'm out for this month! Sad

Cherylttcagain · 03/06/2017 08:41

Thats fantastic that you finally have the one worth having kids with :)
I'm 33 and as time has gone on we thought we need to try for a third before my body decides to close up shop!
Don't worry, even after 2 I feel clueless. My pregnancies were similar but after that they couldn't be more different. I was 9 days over due with #1 and had to be induced and ended up with a week stay in hosp. #2 was a week early and born in our car! And they have totally different personalities, always keep us guessing!!

Cherylttcagain · 03/06/2017 08:42

Sorry to hear that Emanne, treat yourself to something nice this week and hopefully next month is your month.

EMHW123 · 03/06/2017 08:53

Oh no Eman! Relax over the weekend. X

Cheryl! In the car?!? Oh jeeze! 🙊 aren't you a trooper! That's the only part that gives me the fear! 😂

Drinks this afternoon at a friends.... will only have a few 🙈🤷‍♀️🙊 content in the knowledge that even if I am the placenta isn't formed....

Cherylttcagain · 03/06/2017 09:00

I think because I had been induced the first time I just hadn't realised that I was in full on labour until my waters broke when I was laying on our sofa and thought..... crap... it's happening now! Only took him 45 mins after that to arrive. haha, at least it was memorable!

Yes! Go and relax, have a good time out :D

KubaLeebre · 03/06/2017 09:24

To answer someone earlier - no, this will be my second. DD is 4. Got pregnant first cycle with her, and currently on my second cycle now.

I hope it happens soon as this is a stressful business 😂

LinzLinz · 03/06/2017 13:17

Wow first cycle! Good luck with this one, when will you be testing??

EMHW123 · 03/06/2017 13:21

Well I'm out. Gutted. Spending the weekend surrounded by babies and pregnant people. Joy.

Fingers crossed for you all xxx

Cherylttcagain · 03/06/2017 15:25

Oh no! Sorry to hear that emhw. I hope you have much better luck next month. x

LinzLinz · 04/06/2017 09:51

What does everyone think? It's my first month TTC so I have no idea what my cycle is up to but couldn't wait to test!
