@LinzLinz I definitely see a line. They say it doubles every other day so you could test tomorrow morning rather than weekend. How exciting!!!

@McTufty I've heard that too. They told me the same when I went to have my implant out so it's a good sign for you if nothing yet!

@dtnvdoo ha ha thanks! We have to have our victories one way or another on this crazy journey!
I've not had that or heard anything on it, whereabouts are you in your cycle? I'd weigh it up on how far you're in your cycle for when your appointment is and what the attached risks are. Don't forget most people don't find out they're pregnant till a lot later than us lot would.

dtnvdoo · 07/06/2017 12:34

Thx, Ill wait till Saturday as that would b the day of my missed period...I guess if I get a negative at least I can keep making my skin look better in the meantime..plus I will enforce your food reward system

Cherylttcagain · 07/06/2017 17:55

You are all being very patient waiting to test!

I have a question, why do some women say they can't have conceived that month because they had to do heavy lifting? Why is that a thing? What if you already have kids and you're lifting your kids, that doesn't stop you getting preggers. Can anyone enlighten me?

KubaLeebre · 07/06/2017 19:20

I feel like I've done nothing but cry since Monday!

Surely if there's enough hormone to make you cry, there would be enough to show up on a test?

cheryl

Never heard that I'm afraid, so don't know!

kuba

Aww I'm sorry to hear it's getting to you, I've got everything crossed! Have you got an alcohol related treat or something to cheer you up if it's bad news?

Clacton · 07/06/2017 20:57

@KubaLeebre don't give up hope! Try again in a couple of days. When is AF due?

@Cherylttcagain I've never heard that either. I know that heavy lifting is not recommended during pregnancy but I've interpreted that as heavy lifting so wouldn't have thought toddlers/children would come into that. My friend has still continued with weights at the gym till she gave birth to a healthy boy.

I'm now again unsure of whether it was implantation or AF as I've had nothing for the whole afternoon and it was still very light and pink this morning. I think I might test tomorrow...read up on it online and it says wait 3 days after implantation before testing which would take me to tomorrow. Maybe Friday to give a better chance....trying to keep positive but my head is gone!

Cherylttcagain · 07/06/2017 21:54

Wow Clacton, so there's still a chance, brilliant! Come on friday/saturday :)

I'm glad you lot find it as odd as I do!!

I have a confession, I've been binge watching One Born Every Minute!!! :O My hubby would think I was bonkers if he was here right now lol

EMHW123 · 08/06/2017 09:48

Hey all still keeping an eye on you all!

@Clacton that's basically what I've had for a week. Tmi only used 1 tampon and it was barely needed. Spotted on and off since last week. 2 tests bfn. Think I'm having a weird light period. Will keep my fingers crossed for you!

@LinzLinz have you tested again?! ☺️

Hi to all and fingers crossed for you xxx

Clacton · 08/06/2017 10:28

@EMHW123 it definitely could just be a light period really hoping it isn't but I'm back to acting as if I'm pregnant until told otherwise ☺️ how are you getting along?

Clacton · 08/06/2017 10:30

@Cherylttcagain I watched the new one this week, first time in ages. Was balling! So emotional. Do you get really annoyed at the ones that are over egging it? That young girl who was on with her Scottish mum, was everything I hope I won't be (but definitely will after my reaction to stubbing my toe last night.....)

LinzLinz · 08/06/2017 10:47

I've not re-tested yet @EMHW123 , I live one week abroad and one week in the UK, I'm travelling back to the UK tonight so I think I will get a test tomorrow! I'm nervous for a negative but also nervous for a positive! Is this normal?!

EMHW123 · 08/06/2017 10:52

@Cherylttcagain I actually couldn't watch that show! It gives me the fear. 🙈 what am I letting myself in for!!

@Clacton this sounds promising for you! Eeek! When will test?

@LinzLinz this is exciting bring on your bfp!
Where do you live abroad?! How cosmopolitan! Jealous!

I'm feeling a bit meh! I definitely had a bit of blood but no where near my usual medium flow. Irritating. Considering fertility massage/acupuncture... what's your thoughts all?!

LinzLinz · 08/06/2017 10:57

I live in Gran Canaria @EMHW123 , my other half is a Captain for an airline and he works a week on a week off so we commute every week, things will prob have to change soon after a BFP though, not sure I'd want to fly too much!

Clacton · 08/06/2017 11:21

@EMHW123 I'm testing tomorrow morning. Wouldn't it be great if the symptoms were separate from AF! Just started with aching boobs. Which cycle are you on now? Have you tried the fertility lube? I haven't heard much on massages and acupuncture but if it isn't that expensive I would say go for it. Even if it just relaxes you it isn't a bad thing.

@LinzLinz wow! I don't know how you cope with that! I'd always feel like I was living out of a suitcase, but I'm really unorganised and would always end up leaving the one thing I wanted! Excited for you! Let us know tomorrow.

EMHW123 · 08/06/2017 11:30

@LinzLinz oh wow! That would be fab! A week in week off in the sun!

@Clacton I know my body is a see you next Tuesday! Lube arrived! Need to get spurting! 😂 eeekk can't wait for you to test tomo!!

That's you both testing!! ☺️☺️☺️ xx

KubaLeebre · 08/06/2017 14:46

So, who's testing tomorrow? And what DPO will you be?

OP posts:
Clacton · 08/06/2017 15:35

Hi @KubaLeebre I'm testing tomorrow. 10DPO (estimated). When are you testing again?

ButterBeanSoup · 08/06/2017 15:57

Tomorrow - also DPO 10!

Cherylttcagain · 08/06/2017 16:33

Yeah I know what you mean, it also annoys me when they don't choose their hubbys/partner to go in with them for a c-section but their mothers.
I love that show, but I can understand why you might not want to watch it before doing it yourself.

I'm going to test on either 11dpo or 12dpo (Saturday or sunday).

LimpLettice · 08/06/2017 16:59

I have said I won't test again til I am late, so Sunday (14dpo I think), but probably will. I am at work with my bra off as my chest is so swollen and sore, but still had a BFN on a cheapie yesterday. Breast tenderness has neverbeen a PMS symptom for me, and what with the nausea is too much hoping for my liking.

I did a bit of maths and remembered I didnt get a BFP til about 17 dpo with DD, which I shouldn't have done as I had resigned myself after the latest bfn. Crazy making.

DP has been binging on OBEM - this will be his first if we can and he is too excited. Makes me giggle.

Wiggleyfingers · 08/06/2017 21:47

I got a bfn on a frer this morning 😔 planning on going back to ic's until Monday. I've usually started spotting at this time so still holding out some hope! Good luck to everyone for tomorrow, fingers crossed for some bfp's!

KubaLeebre · 09/06/2017 07:26

Bfn (DPO 10). Sigh.

OP posts:
Clacton · 09/06/2017 07:36

@Cherylttcagain good luck for the weekend!
@LimpLettice your symptoms sound positive! Fingers crossed.

@Wiggleyfingers @KubaLeebre sorry for your BFN. I've just tested (on two as didn't trust my first Tesco one🙊) and got BFN! 😐

I bought ovulation tests as a back up but now don't know whether to use them now (if my spotting was AF - reeeeaaalllyyy light, barely even seen on a towel and lasted 5 days) or wait till AF should have arrived. Any advice? I've got the digital clear blue ones.

Cherylttcagain · 09/06/2017 07:52

Thing is Clacton, if that's not normally how it goes for you then I'm not sure I'd consider it a period. What colour was is? Pink/brown will be just spotting. Bright red/red and clots is a period.
It's all very confusing as most signs and symptoms are for both pregnancy and AF :/

Some people don't get a BFP until 16-18dpo, and testing at 10dpo is still very early. Considering if you took the whole 12 days to implant then you wouldn't get any testable hormone until after you've missed AF (I've been doing a lot of reading). So you can almost disregard a BFN at 10dpo (unless you're AF starts).

Stay positive everyone x

Clacton · 09/06/2017 08:09

@Cherylttcagain I know I'm jumping ahead aren't I ha ha. It's hard work isn't it. I guess I'll wait n see if AF shows up on Wednesday as it was brown originally and then very very light pink. No clots.
