Hi all,
Thought I'd start the June bus as af arrived this morning. Biggest kick in the teeth as my sister baby bombed me on her first cycle this weekend and I am now on cycle 10. Trying for our first too.

Hopefully this will be our months!!!

Hey Grumpy-it had already been deleted so didn't see what you are apologising for but it would have been fine anyway, I'm sure Flowers

BlueeSpottyTiger · 21/05/2017 18:36

daiiawn welcome 👋
I'm on cd 9 now.. so very boring. Due to ovulate in 3/4days. I actually think waiting for ovulation is more boring than the tww least you can ss then 😅
I need so submit a urine sample tomorrow to make sure that my pregnancy is definitely over.. i would have been 5+2 now Sad bleeding was no diff to a normal af.
I also think i may have a cyst on my ovary because I've been getting a nagging pain for around 12days now and sometimes it gets so bad i can't move or walk then goes again. Has anyone ever had a cyst before? If so can you explain what it feels like, im not sure if this is because I've never had one x

ElleyBear13 · 21/05/2017 18:52

Hello may I join the bus please?

We've been ttc for 22 months (since ds was two weeks old) so far nothing. However started charting, ov testing and temp testing from this month. Think I ovulated last week- I didnt really want to go down 'this road' for number two wanted a more chilled out relaxed approach but its getting quite hard as a lot of friends with babies the same age as my son have number two already, or are pregnant and one is expecting their third. :( Trying to stay upbeat.

TTC #'2' (pregnancy six)

Daiiawn nice to see another mum trying for number two, how old you lo?

Bluepottytiger Im so sorry for your loss - are you currently charting for ovulation?

Dillonc93 · 21/05/2017 19:46

Hey, so tentively jumping on the bus if you'll have me!

Stats:
TTC #3
CD 2
Age 23

I've been unbelievably lucky in the past with my ability to conceive quickly. So so stressful though as my first daughter was born with anencephaly and passed away soon after birth, and have had 4 miscarriages - the last being a mmc at 12weeks 🙁. We've taken loads of time out since, but really want to give my 4 year old dd a little brother/sister, so finally decided to try again ...fingers crossed this bus throws baby dust to us all ❤️❤️

ladydolly · 21/05/2017 20:11

That's a tough journey :( fingers crossed for you.

So last month I o'd on day 16, ovia reckons it was day 19 but I think that was a temping blip. I'm now on cd11 and got a line on opk, its not even that faint although not as dark as control line. I thought it was odd that I had ewcm yesterday. Dp has a massive hangover but we will be dtd anyway!

MotherofBoy · 21/05/2017 20:46

Welcomedaiiwan and Elleybear!

I am another ttc #2er - my DS is 22 months exactly to the day! We have been trying for 4 months now, and feel similarly to you as two of my NCT friends are already pregnant with no. 2. Desperately want another! I have been ding opks and temping (didn't temp when ttc ds) but no luck so far. Have been a bit slack with the vitamins lately so going to step up the game and see if that helps.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 21/05/2017 20:53

Welcome ladies 👋
dillon aww how incredibly tough for you ❤ were similar in age im 24! Ttc a sibling for my dd too. My dd is 16m
elley yes im charting bbt, cm and using opks Smile thankyou it was a really early loss but i was taken back by how sad it made me.. the doctor signed me off for 2 weeks without me even asking and its been lovely spending the time with my dd x
lady ovia is abit off somtimes isn't it! like it always predicts my fertile week to be alot further along than it should be then, changes it's mind when i ovulate. Luckly because of bbt and cm i can tell when i definitely did ovulate. I always seem to get a really dark (but not postive) opk on cd 8! Then it goes lighter and then on cd 12/13 it's a definate positive.. strange! Yeah jump him.. my dp dare not refuse.. he knows better 😂

BlueeSpottyTiger · 21/05/2017 20:54

We are*

stickybean17 · 21/05/2017 20:59

Can I join the bus too please? First time poster.

TTC #2
Cycle 3
CD 3
Age 36

CP in cycle 1, 4 days of light positives then AF arrived Sad Cycle 2 was longer and ovulated much later than normal. I'm charting and temping. I've also bought the Clearblue digital ovulation test for this month.

Fingers crossed for all of us in June!

Impatientmummy36 · 21/05/2017 21:01

Hi, I'm another ttc number 2... seems it is proving a lot harder second time round for lots of us...

So sorry to hear about those who've had mc and lost babies, I really can't imagine... you're so brave... i hope you're getting lots of love and support.

I am going to stop feeling sorry for myself and try to stay positive, and grateful for what I already have

xx

Impatientmummy36 · 21/05/2017 21:11

Stickybean snap- we are same age and both ttc #2... I'm one month ahead of you as this is cycle 4. How olds your other lo? Clearblue digital very good, def recommend it as it's so easy to use.

Mother that made me laugh - exactly same dilemma here. If we start dtd too early (which I think I've done again this month!! ) we are knackered by a the time ov comes and I'm virtually dragging him to bed waving his white flag. But if I don't start as early, like last month, OV came 2-3 days earlier than I thought and so we probably didn't have enough tries! It's so hard to get this right!!

Didn't have to do any of this when we were ttc number 1 !! X

stickybean17 · 21/05/2017 21:24

impatient, my DD is 17 months. Already a bigger age gap than I wanted, but for various reasons we couldn't start trying for #2 until a few months ago. I'm hoping the clearblue will take some uncertainty out of it, I'm never fully sure with the IC sticks!

daiiawn · 21/05/2017 22:21

Hi all, I've been using ov sticks and they show that I ovulate around day 14. Decided to try clear blue digital to see if it was the same and it peaked on day 16. My ov sticks were Day 15 this month. So going back to ov sticks if I need to next month as the clear blue has given me faith in them, plus they are a lot cheaper.

Laurajonesy · 21/05/2017 23:34

I'm still so new to this, I think I'm now in the ttw it's all so confusing

Jojones210476 · 22/05/2017 01:46

Hey 👋 mind if I join? cycle 1 after mc.

MotherofBoy · 22/05/2017 06:40

impatient tell me about it! With DS I was pregnant almost straight off the pill - one period and boom up the duff! I'm 26 so figure not old enough yet for age to make a difference (I hope?!). We too wanted to try earlier but I was made redundant when I returned to work after maternity leave and obviously wanted to bed in new job first before trying. But it's been 4 months now and I'm so impatient think cos it happened so easily last time round.

Hi other newbies! Welcome! 👋

Dillonc93 · 22/05/2017 09:05

@blue yes we are!! Fingers crossed for this cycle for all of us!!

My due date for the mmc would of been this Sunday, so hoping this month brings some luck Sad

If I were to fall pregnant this month there would be an age gap of 4 years 9 months between dd and new baby, makes me sad for her!!

Crazy when we're little we're told if we so much as look at a man we'll get pregnant ...well I'm looking Hmm lol

Dillonc93 · 22/05/2017 09:23

When is the best time to start using opk's? Literally no idea about actively ttc 🙈

ladydolly · 22/05/2017 09:23

Oops posted this in May when most of us are already on the June bus!

I'm also ttc #2, there are a lot of us on this bus. Dc1 is 2.5 and that's the minimum gap we wanted just because of childcare/money and the fact that DC1 still doesn't sleep :(

DTD last night and ov test just now (not fmu) still showing positive so reckon we'll have another go tonight and maybe tomorrow as well if he's up for it! IS that a good plan or should we wait til tomorrow? We're knackered working parents to a non sleeping toddler so there's only limited time to squeeze DTD in!

ImoAsta · 22/05/2017 09:24

Hi All,

Do you mind if I join too?

TTC #1
Cycle 3
CD 2
Age: 27

I've been off BC since Jan and waited for a few months until I was more regular to start trying. However, since starting to try they have been a bit shorter than normal. Hopefully they will even out soon Smile

I have a CBFM and this will be my second month using it and just track using the Ovia app.

FX for everyone that June is the month for us!
Xx

TheGrumpySquirrel · 22/05/2017 09:31

Well I had my first crappy comment.. told my massage therapist I lost the baby (she was one of the only non family who knew I was pregnant). She said "well everything happens for a reason" and "you are a bit older now so maybe your body had a hard time adjusting to being pregnant". I am pretty thick skinned but her comments stung. I know she meant well, but I'm not old and there's nothing wrong with me!! I know there was probably something wrong with the embryo but "everything happens for a reason" is still hurtful.

I'm going to fire up the CBFM I decided. It will think I'm CD4 and I just want to see whether it can pick up ovulation before my first AF. I did an OPK yesterday and it was super faint. So I don't think the CBFM will get too confused, fx. I just can't stand not knowing, & I want to try and conceive again asap.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 22/05/2017 09:33

dillon i start about cd 8..because i have slighty shorter cycles, but i think the average is cd10? Well thats what the sperm meets egg plan suggests.

If i fall pregnancy this cycle my edd (off lmp) will be the 17th Feb.. my mum's birthday Grin

Is anyone due af around the 8th June Or is anyone on cd 10? Any cycle buddies????

BlueeSpottyTiger · 22/05/2017 09:42

grumpy sorry cross posted. Aww doll that comment is really insensitive, A few family member's said that too me. And i know they meant well and i know its probably true but it still hurts. I think people struggle with what to say when faced with such awful news. Hope your okay! X

Dillonc93 · 22/05/2017 09:58

@grumpy comments like that can be really hurtful, even when meant in a comforting way. Look after yourself & sending hugs.

I had them all too, even had nurse after ERPC saying everything happens for a reason. Won't even get into the HCA that asked for a urine sample to check if I was pregnant before the op Hmm it really is insane how people expect you to just "accept" the loss of a much wanted and loved baby Hmm

@blue my cycles are 27/28 days so gusss I'll start around cd 8 too maybe? Just want af to bugger off now!

Not sure how to tag people so hope I'm doing it right Hmm

ScarletSienna · 22/05/2017 10:18

I was secretly hoping it was an implant bleed yesterday (you know where you know it isn't but that part of your brain still hopes?) but AF definitely here.

Sorry to all those who have had sad experiences. I miscarried my DC's twin and even now people still say things that are insensitive. I know they don't mean to upset and I can't expect people to remember but it cuts. At the moment it is when they say 'it'd be lovely for DC to have a sibling. Are you going to?' Yeah I know it would-he should have had one! And I'm trying thanks Angry
