Red that's fab news, really reassuring that your body is doing what you need to :)

Redpony1 · 13/03/2017 11:40

Yes going to start properly trying in May!
I never got a remotely positive OPK last cycle, but working backwards, it looks like what i thought was my fertile week (EWCM etc) was when i thought it was Smile So should be a bit easier to track this cycle? Who knows!

buzzmoon · 13/03/2017 12:22

Oh my goodness how have I never heard of bullet journals!! Pinning this shit all afternoon!!

confused so happy for you! I felt emotional at the pic!

Penguin27 · 13/03/2017 12:26

That's great news confused, so happy for you!! Grin

And red I'm glad your cycle seems to be getting into a pattern! Enjoy lots of relaxed humping before you start to worry about officially ttc!

HeyJupiter · 13/03/2017 13:35

Thanks MrsC, how are you getting on? Does it all feel real now? :)

orangefolly · 13/03/2017 13:38

jupiter yes I am up for testing tomorrow - I think I will just be wondering about it all day otherwise.

confused delighted the scan went well

red fancy - AF being nice for once!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 13/03/2017 13:41

Ooh yay two POAS-ers for the morning! How many dpo are you orange and Jupiter ?

DancingUnicorn · 13/03/2017 13:50

Brilliant news confused! Does this mean you're discharged from the EPU and can transfer to the hospital you like?

I've decided I need to tell my boss today. Will wait until the end of the day when hopefully people will have gone home, but I'm absolutely terrified! (Which is irrational, because my boss is lovely, but I don't want to be letting work down...)

HeyJupiter · 13/03/2017 14:51

That's great orange, have everything crossed for us!! Hope you're feeling okay about tomorrow with the funeral Flowers

We will both be 12DPO grumpy - can't believe I've managed not to test already!

Dancing really hope telling your boss goes okay.. so understandable to be anxious but am sure will be fine and will be happy for you :) You aren't letting work down.. you'll be back after all!

MrsC2017 · 13/03/2017 14:51

Oh great orange very excited for you and jupiter tomorrow! And nope tbh I have no symptoms at all.... I'm hoping things will ramp up a gear just for reassurance when I hit 6 weeks, sore boobs and that's my lot! dancing good luck with work, I'm sure they'll be very happy for you!! I won't be telling mine until 12 weeks if I can get away with it, hoping I'll have been called for my new job by then but nothing looking too likely atm!

xlaura · 13/03/2017 15:34

Thanks MrsC.. still need a light fitting I just cant justify £200 from Next for one though. I didnt even spend that on my 2 glass chandeliers for my lounge :(

Congrats on the baby scan Confused I bet now its getting very real. One day that's gonna be a gorgeous little bundle of joy in your arms. Would you prefer one sex over another or are you not too fussed?

Sorry about BFN to my twin in life buzz don't you just hate mother nature Angry how is the wedding planning coming along? As quick as I can earn money it seems to be going out and 5x more too. On Sunday (which happens to also be my 22nd birthday) I'm having to fork out my remaining £1580 for my honeymoon on my credit card. Its now made me super sad...I feel like im drowning in credit card statements. All I wanna do is get the wedding done and over with, hopefully get a little cash from guests that can help go towards the honeymoon, pay off credit cards andhopefully be left with enough time so I can atleast try to save some money before I get my BFP or atleast get ready to pop anyway. So much to do with so little time :(

HeyJupiter · 13/03/2017 17:22

Ohh laura sorry it's feeling stressful.. it will be so great though when it happens! I was the same before our wedding but thanks to some very generous guests our honeymoon was paid off in the end. It will all come together for you :)

MrsC glad you've escaped nasty symptoms. Are you counting down the weeks to your first scan? I swear the wait between 4 and 12 weeks feels impossibly long (not that i would know, but I've felt it on behalf of family and friends..)

HbH04 · 13/03/2017 18:50

Yes Jupiter ! We think the two week wait is bad.... but there's a 12/20/38 wait ahead of us!!

Hope it goes quick & easy for our preggos!

MrsC2017 · 13/03/2017 18:59

Yeah I'm not gonna lie after the initial excitement of BFP it's pretty boring being pregnant! Feels like nothing is happening really, and yeah....dunno how I'll make it to 12 weeks tbh! I guess the time will pass anyway, I told my mum actually, so that was nice she was very happy for us and got all teary eyed, I still have fear of telling dad, like he'll be disappointed in me but I know I'm a big girl now, it's not like the first time! Anyway out be uttering a thing now to anyone till 12 weeks!

HeyJupiter · 13/03/2017 19:58

Oh Hb thank god for this thread! That will make the wait much easier :)

MrsC bet your mum was so happy! I have little daydreams about telling my family...hopefully soon.

Wiggleyfingers · 13/03/2017 20:09

Dancing how did it go telling work? Hopefully your boss was happy for you!

Parsnips I'm intrigued by a bullet journal scurries off to check Pinterest. Well done for keeping up the 100 happy days. I think I will try this soon!

Congratulations on your lovely scan photo confused I can't wait for mine but in the meantime it's so nice to see yours so thank you for sharing 😘

Buzz I'm definitely up for starting again with the diet regime! I have a FitBit which I love and I'm going to make sure I achieve at least 10,000 steps everyday this week. Today has gone well with 11k.

I think becoming more aware of my cycle has allowed me to become more aware of my emotions! I have such bad mood swings! I have been trying to see a pattern in my grumpiness but it seems to come in every phase of my cycle. I'm not on any contraception either so can't even blame that! Guess I'm such a moody person! Grin

HeyJupiter · 13/03/2017 20:21

Wiggley I noticed the exact same thing about moods and hormones this month. It's kind of disconcerting as makes you feel that your feelings aren't really based on reality but just how much progesterone/oestrogen etc is dominating. Some things bother me much more when I'm in the follicular phase than they would in the luteal. Madness. I was much happier on the pill actually. I'm not exactly erratic now but definitely more prone to mood changes.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 13/03/2017 20:28

Same here - I'm much more volatile! Sad or v annoyed for no reason... learning to navigate it again!

Penguin27 · 13/03/2017 20:33

I'm so glad that you've said about the mood swings, that makes me feel so much better knowing it's not just me!! I've been trying to work out if I'm just hormonal or whether I've been fighting a return of the big black dog!! I definitely think it's hormonal as I've been feeling much better for the past 5 days or so Smile

dancing how did it go with your boss today?

Cocktails30 · 13/03/2017 21:10

laura we've just moved house and had similar carpets throughout, but a bit lighter. It was a new build and we dong know what we want to do with each room so just had the same throughout!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 13/03/2017 22:02

Day 3 of paleo successfully completed and feeling like I'm over the hump! No carb cravings and stomach flatter.

Did an OPK tonight and vvvv faint so I'm still ok to shag away I reckon! CD10 tomorrow must remember to do a CBFM test stick in the morning!!

I've booked myself in for a blonde balayage next Friday (I'm brunette). Very excited!

Hope everyone survived Monday!!

Seven0fNine · 13/03/2017 22:14

Yay Confused I love your little prawn! So cute!

Red I am so glad your cycles seem to be settling down

Go wiggley with your steps. I am Deffo more emotional off the pill. Not so much moody, I'm not a moody person (always annoying happy..ha) Quite nice tho really feeling different emotions and getting nice skin around ovulation - makes me feel like I am my natural self.

Cd12 today and negative opk. Ovulated on cd13 of my last weird short cycle so this one I am hoping will be just the right length!

Fingers crossed for the testers tomorrow!!! Xx

xlaura · 13/03/2017 22:19

Cocktails we moved into a new build December 2015 and we got flooring with ours as a deal because it was end of the year. After 14 months they were complete shite..the carpet pile was non-existent and it's like walking on concrete. Only good thing about them was you can put as much bleach on them as you want without trashing them..I went for fully bleachable carpets this time round. Still love the smell of it when I walk in (I'm so weird I know 😂)

Jupiter I know it just seemed to get on top of me ATM..dunno why because I might not even get my BFP on the first attempt. Think I'm just so convinced I will and I'm trying to be as organised as possible but I spose I can only work with what I've got. Ive managed to get it down from 3 credit cards to 1 with £1400 and then putting another £1500 on Sunday is gonna be so soul destroying but oh well it is what it is. It'll all be paid off and it's all interest free so that's good 👌🏼 I just hate having debt and have never had it. Went abit overboard in America with shopping and I've only just managed to clear it up now 😂 those bits of plastic are wonderful until it's abit high and you feel like your drowning.

How's all you lovely ladies doing this evening anyway? I've sold my dining table so I'm now tableless until the weekend when I have to trek to London to get my new one 👀 eating off trays and on our sofa then I think haha.
