Haha omg I wear gym clothes every single place I go 😂😂😭😂

CakesALot · 06/03/2017 19:39

How many messages?! I've only been away for the afternoon!! Will try and catch up properly later

bella im a big SW fan too. Lost 2 stone last year. Stopped going to group when I started TTC again as I'm not too concerned about my weight now but we still have all the recipes and love them. Definitely put me off processed food and encouraged my fruit and veg intake.

Eurgh the gym!! I love yoga which I get to when I can. And a walk everywhere over driving if I can. And that's about it!

Cd13 here. Dtd done. Lots of ewcm today, even DH noticed! And I've had the odd twinge so think ov is imminent. Away tomorrow night so hoping I have a good stash of Doreen's to cover it!

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 06/03/2017 19:41

All of my fingers and toes crossed for you Charley.
I am 11DPO. Which I suppose it better than the 9DPO I began spotting at last month. Boobs are so sore, this normally is not a symptom of mine, but I this really is only cycle 4, I've only been off the pill since mid October, so what do I even expect?!

Trying to research TTC stories online and most are like 'oh yes, well we conceived the first month of trying la la la...'. I do apologise, I am feeling bitter today.

CakesALot · 06/03/2017 19:41

Welcome to the newbies by the way! The more the merrier!

Charley2016 · 06/03/2017 19:56

Sorry TMI! Think I'm clutching at straws but just out the bath and noticed my chest is practically blue 😂... I normally do have one quite obvious vein on my right breast but just realised they're all over and underneath too which I've never had before....

BellaMoon · 06/03/2017 19:58

@SalemTheTeenageWitch i started RLT yesterday, 1 in the morn and another after work (im cd11). it does something (feck knows if i can remember) to the uterus that makes implantation more likely. i googled it and it appears safe throughout TTC and pregnancy, i think it's dismissed as a myth for inducing labour but i'll stop if AF shows at the end of the month and only start again at cd10.

when our 2 upduffers (eeeek how exciting saying that) gave us the rundown of what they did this cycle i noticed @Dollydaydream2829 mentioned she'd taken RLT so i'm giving that ago. i'm also doing SMEP, conception vitamins for DH and I & preseed this month. feck the fecking feckers that look at a willy and become pregnant 😫

@Rainbowsockstoday i'd never advise someone ignore their GP so don't get me wrong, if it makes sense then so be it but i doubt very much i'd be heeding that advice either! you could be due to give birth before an appointment came through by their timeline!

pea and ham soup made, leaky sink fixed, salad prepped for tomorrow, call the midwife on and i'm having some me time! full house stinks of paint which is giving me a right sore head of course it's not a delayed hangover!

xx

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 06/03/2017 20:07

Bella I am going to get some this cycle. I hope it works.

I am getting myself upset now because DH had an operation when he was 1-2yrs old to correct an undescended testicle. This could possibly be the reason for our lack of BFPs. His surgeon told his Mum it wouldn't cause fertility problems. Google says it could do. I am sending him off to the Doctors on Wednesday to ask for sperm analysis. What if it's bad and he has a low sperm count or worse still, no sperm :(

Charley2016 · 06/03/2017 20:12

Salem I found out a few months but that my DH had one that was undescended and he didn't get an op until he was 5 or 6. I didn't think the doctor would do anything until it had been a year though. I got quite freaked out after googling too! Might get him to try just going to the docs now too.

Roseandbee · 06/03/2017 20:13

Hi to all teh new joiners:)
and hi again EMHW:)

Salem thanks for doing the list, looks like its getting busy now so fingers crossed for more BFPs

Rainbow are you sure you heard correctly? i've had my first fertility referral (only had to wait a few weeks but that will depend on you area, but my doc said a few months and it turned out to be weeks)
You can have the smears, blood tests and transvaginal (dildo cam) exams even if you are pregnant and don't know it. The only test so far i've been told to make sure i'm not pregnant for is the Hycosy (where they inject die into your tubes to make sure they are clear) and basically the doctor said, to ring up on the first day of my period and book it in for day 10 of my cycle, and to make sure we don't have unprotected dtd just in that cycle until after the test, but after the test is fine and could lead to pregnancy so id not even be missing my fertile window that month as i don't usually ovulate till after day 13.

BellaMoon · 06/03/2017 20:16

@SalemTheTeenageWitch awww chic, your thoughts are perfectly understandable but getting upset or worrying will only cause you stress that you don't need just now. you're now 11dpo, you could be spotting due to implantation bleed, please try to relax tonight. get some big hugs off your DH. xx

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 06/03/2017 20:17

Charley that is strangely reassuring to know that you're in the same position. I am sending DH off to the doctors and I have told him to tell the Doctor it has been a year. If they don't do anything, I have found a fertility clinic in Birmingham that does SA for £95.
You are very welcome rose. When are you having the Hycosy test?

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 06/03/2017 20:17

Thank you for the positive words Bella xxxx.

BellaMoon · 06/03/2017 20:21

@SalemTheTeenageWitch & @Charley2016 i posted yesterday about a £30 fertility test for men from Boots, why not give that a go? x

Roseandbee · 06/03/2017 20:42

Stay positive salem i think i read about 50% of pregnant women experience some kind of bleeding. The test would be next cycle so AF is due around the 17th (although i wont be having it cos of the baby) but hypothetically speaking, id ring up and get my appoint for about the 27th. The only thing is that they do say is it increases your fertility straight after it and that would land me with a Christmas due date and i'm not sure how i feel about that, i could just wait till the following month to get it done, id still try and conceive next month though, i cant be too picky!

Charley2016 · 06/03/2017 20:47

My DH has always worried about his sperm count so he stupidly asked in June last year if they could test and they asked if we were trying to which he replied no!! So probably have to wait until June at least. If I was you I'd totally get dh to go though. Will put your mind at rest!

Bella that sounds good! Is it the actual numbers it tests for or the shape etc? Sorry but clueless about the sperm haha!

Moo31 · 06/03/2017 20:55

Thank you hippy :)

Cakes - that's useful thank you! I'm normally a chocolate fiend when af is around but can generally take it or leave it other times (actually have given it up for lent - something that sounds good to give up but won't be too difficult lol!)

Dolly I'm struggling with the tea too but it's a nice "problem" to have isn't it! :)

Archies - everything crossed that this is your month!

Salem I hope af has stayed away? I really hope she has!!

Mummy - it will be here before you know it - this year is just flying by!!!

Xo

BellaMoon · 06/03/2017 20:57

@Charley2016 i'm not entirely sure. we bought 1 when i got my CB OPKs. DH gave it a go but we'd DTD that day. it didn't work and DH said he was supposed to use a day old sample. here's it is xx

Charley2016 · 06/03/2017 21:05

Thanks Bella! I've just read the reviews and they seem to be all 5 star or 1 star and not much inbetween! I'd be worried that if it was a false negative I'd get even more stressed out.

Moo31 · 06/03/2017 21:16

Oh my goodness I replied on page 10 on my phone but you girls were up to page 13! Loads of comments I missed - I've just caught up!

EMHW - I did thank you :)

Charley - not tmi at all! My oh commented at the weekend how blue and veiny my (very sore) boobs were! Also I had lots of creamy cm last week. So those are really positive signs for you.

salem - stay positive and don't be stressing. I'm a worrier too so I understand where you are coming from but try not to convince yourself there's an issue. Hopefully he can get the tests sooner rather than later to put your mind at ease.

Rose - I read that you mustn't drink the RLT during the 2ww. It softens your womb which i think you want to happen to help the fertilised egg implant but u dont want it to continue to soften after it has implanted (?) It also says on my packed not to drink during early pregnancy. But I think you can drink it again towards the end of pregnancy to help with labour.

BellaMoon · 06/03/2017 21:17

ah yeah, never thought about that @Charley2016 fair point. i'm such an instant gratification type with zero patience. hence why we even bought it when we were on cycle 1! DH is the same, we're a bad combo
in that regard. xx

Charley2016 · 06/03/2017 21:21

Ugh I stupidly just tested again after the blue boob chat and still bfn. Going to try and leave my other test until Wednesday fmu at least. Moo do you normally have sore boobs? My nipples are agony but I normally get it before AF anyway. We're your veins like this? Sorry everyone, I'm being super annoying tonight haha! Hope you're doing well moo and the good news is sinking in x

Charley2016 · 06/03/2017 21:23

Yeh I'm the same Bella haha! Dh is starting to get down about things (although trying now to show it) and keeps saying he hates seeing me get my hopes up. I think it's harder me seeing him like that than anything. Hopefully we get our BFPs soon and have happy hubbies x

Moo31 · 06/03/2017 21:41

Charley - yeah they were very noticeable like yours. Very thick and blue. No i don't normally get sore boobs but since Fri when I take my bra off oh my goodness agony ... I've resorted to wearing a sports bra to bed so they have a bit of support (at least my sports bra is getting some use!)

I think ttc does put a lot of pressure on the men - more than I realised definitely! The pressure is on them at this end and us 9 months down the line!!

believe in the power of positivity

mrsbarnettsbaby · 06/03/2017 22:13

I recently found out my dp had an op for undescended testicles (both). His mum just mentioned it in conversation about her kids all having diff ops when little. I didn't like to quiz her! He's cross with her for telling me personal stuff about him!?! He doesn't remember having it so I guess he was quite young. However google says that could be our problem. (I already have 3 kids, he has none)
