#2 PMA all the way to BFP xxx

So we've maxed out our first thread, the positivity is building up nicely and we're joyfully moving on to a brand new thread...

This thread is for anyone TTC and is bursting with positivity, love and support as we cruise towards our BFP's.

New rules instead of saying AF due we say BFP due ...
Also you do not have to add your age or what cycle number you're on if you don't want to ...

The ultimate aim is to get everyone to destination BFP ASAP...
however the bus ride may take a little longer for some of us ...
it doesn't matter if you take the scenic route ...
as long you get there.

Thanks so much ladies, I think this month I just found it harder- have been feeling a bit crap - think it's just the winter blues. So looking forward to spring. Have GP appointment for a couple of weeks to discuss as it'll be 6months trying then and I'm 38. Anyone know what to expect for first appointment with gp ?

Yeah im really looking fwd to spring to blondie, its def harder to do the PMA during winter.
well first appointment you will get asked questions about your periods and how often you dtd, just obvious stuff really. Then my GP told me to book myslef in for a day 21 blood test to see if i'm ovulating, some GPS will do the day 3 tests as well but i'm doing that at the hospital now. Im not sure if they will then refer you straight away or not, as i have been TTC for well over the 1 year they say for under 35s, so it might be why i got a fertility referal straight away.

Liking the advice to just trick DH into bed yeah, he won't actually complain. Think he's as grumpy as me about not getting the BFP this month. He suggested the Chinese!

Me three for looking forwards to Spring. I do love Autumn and the coziness of Christmas, but looking forwards to the lighter nights and warmer weather now.

ovia says i can POAS tomorrow. now that i have a valid reason/justification to POAS i am suddenly overwhelmed and apprehensive

If you're DTD regular Moo, then hopefully you'll catch the O anyway! And hippy FX for your peak soon! I know it's difficult for you to regularly DTD with your other half!

Nothing much to report here - CD 18, gonna DTD tonight again anyway just incase my O was delayed although pretty damn sure it happened on Monday. So officially in the TWW. I tried yoga tonight for the first time! Absolutely loved it - they did an 8 minute relaxation session at the end too which should surely benefit the stress levels?!

Haha yes hippy your cycle buddy is back. Woo for CD13 tomorrow. Hoping I will get a positive on OPK around CD15 or 16 which is usual for me. Hoping to DTD a few times at least if not every day for 3 days.

I've never heard of this pineapple malarkey but think I may have to jump on the band wagon. I love pineapple!

Ah hippy they can be so awkward can't they. DH did agree to smep but doesn't want to know the details so there's still an element of surprise

Whether it actually happens is a different story. DD is employing all the bedtime delay tactics under the sun at the moment as well as enjoying a 2am chat with mummy and a 6am wake up. So when bedtime arrives we tend to flop in and fall asleep!! But in the interests of PMA, it's the thought that counts!

*Dolly I'm not testing as have my usual menstrual migraine and other symptoms. Def going to see AF in next day or two. But it's really my first proper cycle charting BBC and OPK so I'm quite excited to be hitting CD1. Really concerned about my age though. I wondered if there's anyone else here over 40? Or an advanced maternal age thread- couldn't find one. This is all new to me as it's my first tine and I'm rather bewildered. Hoping to post pictures 9f my OPK sticks as I'll not trust myself. Don't think I ovd last month, but might have read them incorrectly!

i'm not out til AF shows so the #PMA is still there however i do now feel she's likely to show before Sat. ill be disappointed but glad to be able to now chart 2 cycles and work some stuff out 😁

weather in central scotland is horrendous btw - snow, sleet, hail, rain and strong winds (and that's not just my trapped wind lol) 😂

Ooh I think I might actually have ovulation pains! Not that it's that painful, put I've felt like someone is poking me on the left hand side since I woke up.... I also seem to have the opposite problem from most of you just now 😂 I really couldn't be bothered last night, was absolutely exhausted! Well dh wouldn't let up and said we couldn't miss the day of the positive OPK and just did everything while I slyly watched the iPad 😂 oh the romance of TTC. Going to try one more tonight as he's home earlier and then I'll officially be in the TWW.

Morning all! CD 6 here, dtd last night and planning every other night until around CD 20ish! DP is gonna be happy!

Not temping, OPKing, pissing on sticks early this month. Trying to take a relaxed approach, have sex to enjoy it and not wee on anything until AF is late!
