Hi all!
So the old thread died and I can't remember the old spiel or anything.
Basically I started a thread almost 2 years ago as I was TTC and symptom crazy!
I found lots of likeminded lovelies and we joined together to help each other :)
We did have some rules - mainly things about being nice, no apologies and nothing is too gross to discuss, we are all adults and here to help :)

Hi All!

I was on the last thread - I was Pirsy back then. I am also pregnant now Prty - 25 weeks with a surprise! I was just about to do IVF when I got pregnant - had been TTC 2 years. The month it happened I did a professional exam and we only DTD once - think it was the worrying about something else that did it to be honest.

Xxx

PrtyPsn · 17/02/2017 20:30

pirsy (grabs you into a massive hug, not squishing bumps) good to see you :)
Seems a pattern with DTD once and lowering expectations!

PRTY! PIRSY! NEETIE! It's Mrs Flowers here! Name changed a while back.

So pleased to have found you!

PRTY - how's pregnancy going? So exciting that you're having a boy!

Anyone ever heard from Mrs Kitten?

ItsBritneyBitch82 · 08/03/2017 16:45

And congrats Pirsy!!!!

neetie1 · 08/03/2017 18:20

Hi all,
Sorry keep forgetting to post lol
Sooo blood test came back fine no issues, not cancer, not hormonal (menopause etc) so had scan and everything checked out ok . Bladder wasn't emptying quite properly but they think that may be from an old issue.
So next step is seeing the bowel people. But doc seems to think it is diet related and stay away from certain foods, I can't see how though backache, bloating , cramping and feeling sick can be diet.... sigh

ItsBritneyBitch82 · 08/03/2017 20:32

Neetie (Flowers here with new name!) pleased that all looks ok but sorry you have to have more checks re diet. Crossing all that it comes back fine.

PrtyPsn · 08/03/2017 21:31

Flowers!!!!!!!! so good to see you! How's things?
Pregnancy is fine - very tiring but all good :)
neetie glad the tests came back ok, I know it's frustrating but it's another hurdle done

I'm good! Sat here feeding little girl who is 15 weeks today! Not sure where that time went?! Confused

My mum (not sure if you remember, she had cancer and was having treatment) also got the all clear last month!

Pregnancy is definitely tiring! Will speed up after 30 weeks and your little ones will be here before you know it!

PrtyPsn · 09/03/2017 12:04

Wow! 15 weeks!!!
Good to hear mum got the all clear Grin

I'm still here!
Good to see you all again!
prty and pirsy - congratulations on your pregnancies- that must be so wonderful, hope it's all going really smoothly.
neetie - glad tests all okay but how frustrating for you.
flowers ! 15 weeks - how time flies! Enjoy every precious second with your little girl. And I am delighted to hear about your mum, what wonderful news.

As for me I spend my time on the infertility boards now as unfortunately it never happened for me. Been through a rough time but nearly at the point of acceptance now. Doctor put me on antidepressants but I've come off them and now am going to start that cognitive behavioural therapy instead - it is to try and help me deal with the infertility.
It is so lovely that everyone is good, I used to love chatting to you all and our board was always such a good support.

ItsBritneyBitch82 · 10/03/2017 03:35

Kitten!!!!! ! I am so pleased to hear from you but also sorry to hear your update.

I am gutted you've had to go through such a rough patch FlowersCBT is brilliant - I am a huge believer in actually helping people deal with behaviours and thought patterns rather than just shoving pills in their direction! Well done for pushing and hope all goes well.

Did you ever have tests etc? As I remember you were struggling with your Dr as you already had a DS? (So sorry if I have got this wrong) It may not even be helpful now but wondered if you ever got any feedback?

I hope whatever you decide to do next you have the support of your partner and friends xxx

PrtyPsn · 12/03/2017 07:32

Hi kitten!!!!
Thanks, lovely - it was a big shock but we are both obviously really pleased.
Sorry to hear your news, I still have hope for you, lovely. I can also second the amazing benefits of CBT, it can make such a difference x

Quick question: What's DC? I can't find it on the acronym sheet?

PrtyPsn · 12/03/2017 09:42

As in Dear/Darling Child?

OP posts:
Beansy30 · 13/03/2017 07:00

As in DC1 of cycle 2

PrtyPsn · 13/03/2017 08:32

CD = Cycle Day, so, for example, CD4 is the fourth day after AF begins

Hi all how are we? Paid for my AMH levels to be done last week privately and they came out at 7.51. Usual levels for my age is 0.3 to 14.7 so think that is pretty good.

PrtyPsn · 22/04/2017 11:48

Hi neetie good news re: levels, I think that sounds great!

OP posts:
ItsBritneyBitch82 · 22/04/2017 12:02

Hi Neeties (Flowers here). Levels sound great! How are you aside from that?

How's things with you Prty?

PrtyPsn · 22/04/2017 12:20

Not too bad flowers almost 33 weeks now and desperately trying to turn my little monkey - he's breech, they say there's plenty of time for him to turn but I'm a worrier!

OP posts:
neetie1 · 22/04/2017 13:11

Not too bad thanks... DH was going to have a test but has changed mind so we may get one from internet instead. Seen one called Spermcount which we may try.

ItsBritneyBitch82 · 22/04/2017 13:21

Plenty of time to turn Prty! But can't believe how far along you are now! Will they book a CS if he doesn't turn?

Neetie I hope you are able to get the test done quickly. Every result is a step closer to getting your little one xxx

PrtyPsn · 22/04/2017 13:27

flowers it has flown by, especially since Xmas! Probably - anterior placenta so I doubt they will offer a manual turn :/ really want to avoid CS if possible though.
neetie I didn't even know you could get tests online for that!

OP posts:
ItsBritneyBitch82 · 22/04/2017 13:44

I had an EMCS (after a horrible induction, the less said about it the better) and it was actually the best bit! Although I was adamant I didn't want one either. Keep an open mind as ultimately all that matters is him getting here safely!

Do keep us updated!
