You have sex every day with a 4 month old baby? Shock Jesus.

I didn't have sex for 13 months after my DS came along Shock

I don't know the answer to your question but I couldn't help but respond with my Shock face.

Good luck!!

My friend conceived when her twins were 3 months old (and not on purpose!!)

Oysterbabe · 05/02/2017 20:44

What's the hurry? It takes on average 9 months to conceive and that's not taking into account the fact that you've just given birth. Relax and give your body time to heal.

I actually got pregnant with my first 1month after trying😌 So when do a postnatal woman start ovulating again ?

Tomorrowipromise · 05/02/2017 20:47

Tomorrow!

Sparklingbrook · 05/02/2017 20:48

Yes, what is the hurry? Confused

I guess you will get pregnant when your body decides it's recovered enough. They tend to say a year for everything to return to normal.

user1486273640 · 05/02/2017 20:49

Thankyou

Why are you so desperate for another baby, when you have a 4 month old. Just relax enjoy your baby and if it happens it happens

user1486273640 · 05/02/2017 20:50

There is no hurry I am just wondering what is going on

OP posts:
jackieeee · 05/02/2017 20:51

Nothing going on, i think all
Women are different but im sure i read it could take up to a year after having baby.

user1486273640 · 05/02/2017 20:53

Because when I'm researching second infertility keeps coming up and it's scaring me 😩That's all I can find I don't think I'm searching the right thing

OP posts:
Oysterbabe · 05/02/2017 20:57

You conceived your first after 1 month, you're only 17, you do not have secondary infertility.
Growing a baby and giving birth takes a lot out of you and the body needs to heal. Even if you hadn't just had a baby? 4 months is no time at all, a doctor would tell you to go away and come back in 8 months.

KP86 · 05/02/2017 20:57

Isn't this your second thread on this?

Relax, and stop putting so much pressure on yourself. Four months-post birth is not that long.

Out2pasture · 05/02/2017 21:02

your 17 right?

DumbledoreBumbledore · 05/02/2017 21:15

Why do you keep posting this? You had a thread this morning which answered your question.

Sparklingbrook · 05/02/2017 21:34

17?

Out2pasture · 05/02/2017 21:36

Are you breastfeeding?

YY, looks like the Op has had lots of replies this morning. Confused

AliceThrewTheFookingGlass · 05/02/2017 21:54

If you're having regular periods then your fertility has likely returned already (ie you've started ovulating again) this doesn't mean you will fall pregnant immediately.

You have just a 20-25% chance of conception in any given month, not just you, any fertile woman having unprotected sex around ovulation.

There's no need for you to worry at all.

I do think you're being very naive in TTC again so soon at your age though (and I say that as 23 year old with 3yo and a 1.5 year old). Everything is still very new for
you and frankly 4 month old babies are quite easy compared to a 9mo crawling baby or a 1yo toddler who wants to be in everything and has taken a keen interest in climbing for example. Basically what I'm saying is you might want to 'find your feet' a bit a more before you consider adding another child into the mix.
