Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We've ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar, and we don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

We have a new Grad's Thread. We recently lost a whole load of ttc veterans to the good side and we're absolutely desperate to join in the fun! May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

kathrino so when you get to scan room there is a courtesy curtain so you can get your bottom half off in peace. Then you get up on to bed and there is a paper sheet to cover your nether regions. You should sit so bum almost off edge and put your legs in the "holders" - after years of having fanjo prodded I now have a more comfortable position. Sonographer/Dr will ask if you are ready, come round and then ask if you are allergic to latex as they put a "condom" on fanjo prodder. Then in they go - usually very gently. I find having a sense of humour about all this helps. There may be a nurse in with you.

What a dick splat about AF... but you are still so young!! Sorry that type of comment is not helpful but I have almost 20 years on you and only just TTC now.

I am CD4 and time is going soo slowly :( going to chart BBT this cycle (just ordered thermometer) so looking forward to getting to grips with that/hoping it will make me feel like I'm doing something!

Thanks Jam and Pyjamas ❤️ I don't have anything planned for tomorrow sadly. First day of af is always a killer for me. Bed, bathroom, poop, bed and repeat is how it usually goes! Either dinner out or takeaway in the evening depending on how I'm feeling. I'm going home Sunday-Tuesday and also got a comedy show (Jack Whitehall) on 16th and The Weeknd VIP concert tickets for 13th March. Just have to get through tomorrow with those things to look forward to.

Thank you Kwick. I know, I know. I am young but not in my eyes. I met my husband at 18 and I got married when I was 20 year & 4 months exactly. He's 32 soon and desperate to be a father since he lost his at 9. We're so ready financially and emotionally. We waited until I was 24 to ttc and I wish we never did after these 2 years of hell! My mum had 3 babies close together and was done by 30. That was always my dream.

Alexia I understand your impatience. My DH took 8 years to propose to me, we were married a year later and he didn't want to start trying for another year. Now that first year trying has passed and I find myself at 33 facing possible infertility and wondering how I'm going to fit my three babies in! You really are in very good time though lovely with time very very much on your side. And your birthday plans sound great 👍🏼

kathrino there is a really nice coffee shop just by CRGH that has the most amazing Chelsea Buns which I have only ever swooned after never eaten... not!

Thats a tough one hep cold feet - less swelling; warm feet - comfort and nurturing.

I'm now CD27 & sure AF is just about here! Had slight red in cm at lunchtime (sorry tmi) & now definite spotting tonight with very very mild cramping! Since actively starting TTC I've spent both cycles TWWs actively wishing for AF - the first just to confirm everything was back up & running & this time because we missed FW entirely & I just want to get going again! Oh the irony

Oh and good luck Kathrino. Perhaps you and kwick should pin tulips to your outfit ....

Alexia - I'm glad you're still around hon, though getting AF on your birthday (again) really does suck. I hope you have a nice day despite this. Also you know what they say about the best made plans of mice and men! So you're going to have your babies a little later than you thought you would, but you're still young and it won't make you love them any less when they arrive. Xx

Hope all the af's stay away. Feels like an age since we had a bfp around here.

Im shattered, starting a sort of new job. Moving into a different role for 10 months to cover, of all the things, my colleagues maternity leave. I've hayed shadowing her as everyone has been talking baby none stop and i keep looking at her bump. Also may punch the next person that says "you better not be thinking of having a baby too"

Im in no womans land here. Im about 6 dpo but i'm not temping so it's a guess. I know there isn't much chance this cycle too so i'm just sort of waiting.

No af here still although stomach feels a bit like it's turning over which sometimes happens around AF time so still not being too hopeful 😔

May have succumbed to some boots early detection tests earlier (to save the more expensive frers in my drawer!!) so will use one of those tomorrow morning but presume it'll be a bfn again like on the cheapie today 😔.

Two questions

1. Those of you that take coq10 / ubiquinol. Is it every day or just part of your cycle. My bottle says consult a gp before taking if pregnant so just wondering about tww.

1. Any veggies round here? Im after good recipes that support ttc.

I don't temp so don't know dpo exactly but got a smiley on CB digital 11 and 12 days ago so I'm guessing I'm around 11dpo. CD27. Last few cycles were 24 days (most recent), and before that 27 and 33 days. So not sure when to expect AF but apps predict tomorrow so I'll test tomorrow. Nervous. Want this so so bad.

I have a hen night soon and is it bad that I've been dreaming of having to make an excuse not to drink because I'm hoping I'll be pg? I think I've gone crackers well more then I already was 😂

Forgot to mention, back has been on and off aching ALL day! Which is not usually an AF sign for me.... must stop reading into EVERYTHING

What a night... tossing and turning, wierd dreams... now nausea (which I think is anxiety not a nice symptom)...not good. Going to try and get a bit more sleep but I am not holding out much hope.

ej I take co-enzyme q10 600mg every day - when I fell pregnant they did not say to stop. Shit something else to worry about. I did stop the DHEA though.
If you PM me your email address I can send you nutrition info which I think has quite a lot of veggie stuff in it. Just remember pulses and dairy and eggs are all great.
