Hi guys not had chance to catch up yet but still clinging on. AF not arrived BFN on Christmas day and the 27th testing again tomorrow as AF now a few days late but don't want another bfn. Back ache sore boobs and cramps but trying not get hopes up!

Morning all! Binky I'm in the same boat. I'm 6 days late and darent even think it's for a good reason in case af suddenly appears. Waiting on ICs to arrive to test. Went on a shopping mission yesterday and in every shop I went there were people I knew-small town rumour mill would have begun so i decided to wait. Ive had such back ache and feeling like af is about to start but there's nothing. Hopefully the tests will arrive today and put me out of my misery one way or the other!

Thanks hells it's encouraging to hear although a BFN for me again so think it's unlikely as now 2 days late and no symptoms (although actually since I'm only 3 months off the pill and had been on it for 16 years so who knows what my cycles are doing!) sorry you're feeling rubbish power horrid when you have ttc going on too, feel better soon. Gosh minime I had to do a super stealth boots shop, hope your ic arrive and provide a happy answer for you. It seems tis the season for AF to be late! dont give up those who she hasn't arrived for yet especially those still in the tww, I agree with hippy it's very much like Pringles except a whole lot more expensive and less satisfying, although the craving to test and know is also overwhelming and I have to admit to not being very good myself!

Can't stop poas!!!!! 11dpo and BFN still. According to my last cycle, AF came CD26... I'm CD25 today. However 26-28 day cycles are normal for me.

White, gloopy CM today. Pelvic discomfort still side to side and very low abdomen, just above pubic bone. My left breast had some 'colostrum' droplets when I squeezed it (in my last pregnancy I was able to express from 20weeks)... but maybe that's normal for me at this stage of my cycle. Arghhh, I'm driving myself loopy. Have had a google and apparently the PG test strips I'm using are not very sensitive so might pop to Superdrug when the boy child wakes up.. apparently rly they are super sensitive

Had to go out to lots of stores yesterday for hpt as most stores sold out! Something in the water! Deffo online shopping next time

I have lots of back ache and pelvic discomfort today. Hope it's not AF thinking about starting

So the ICs didn't turn up today, went about my business, but the 6days late thing has been annoying me. Came home and rooted through my cupboard to see if by chance there'd be one fallen from the pack-lo and behold there was 😯sooooo i poas and am currently looking at a either a very pale squinter, an indent line or an evap line - I can't tell! As I'm 6 days late I'm not getting excited as I'd expect a bfp line to be super strong.

TBH the photo isn't great. Here I can see a faint pink line but on the photo it can't be seen. Weirdly since doing the test my boobs have been sore, I've got dizzy and has increased cm. psychosomatic much??? all probably indicating the imminent arrival of the witch!

You've good eyes love cos it's a proper squinter lol!! I've never had one on a hpt, only opks. It is pink here but am not going to mention it to DH yet. Been googling the chances of a super faint line at 6 days late being a positive. I'll try again tomorrow with a frer/digital.

I have had a BFN on a digi but was confused about the sore boobs and cramping so did an opk this eve and got a strong positive (cd24) so looks like a v late ovulation and long cycle here.... luckily i can dtd tonight so hopefully i will catch it! At least i can have a NYE drink tomorrow....x

Hello! Over joyed to shared I got a BFP... so much to say... was told I wasn't ovulating and had a hormone imbalance by a gyno consultant on the 20/12. That I was 35 and old in terms of fertility. Referred me to the Wessex Fertility Clinic which was a shocker. HE WAS SO WRONG!! So I had my copper coil removed 2nd Dec and was beyond shocked to see a BFP on the 21/12... it was faint and only the FR tests showed a faint pink line. The cheap tests showed nothing a week on. Coincidentally I had a scan booked in to check for cysts on the 23/12... explained the BFP and the ultrasound found nothing --- cysts or pregnancy. Just a thin lining which she said 'may not be enough for a baby for imbedding and she can't see anything anyway' ... wrong again! So enjoyed Christmas with all the trimmings, considered the line an evap line and phoned Wessex Fertility yesterday, no answer and they were close...must have been a good omen (p.s. Stopped drinking now!!) ANYWAY... I booked in a GP appointment for 29/12. Explained all and he wanted to do a blood HCG test (just to be sure) and check out my thyroid. So yesterday, we're with friends, champagne in hand having fun when the GP calls to say the HCG are at an established pregnancy level, congratulations!! Champagne down the drain and total shock. I even said, could it be a chemist pregnancy after everything that's gone on.. no, too high. Nothing on the scan because it was so early. Test getting darker now... couldn't help but do some as soon as I got in and this morning, just pinching myself. Cheap test still faint, just like my first son was ... faint until so far on. Everyone is so different. Only fail safe is the GP and a blood test. He wants to run another HCG test week just to check its rising after all I've been through this month but I'm still in total shock, lots of twinges and twanging pain downstairs at the moment, just like my son!

Moral of the story... CONSULTANTS CAN EVEN GET IT WRONG!

So I'm considered 4 weeks and 1 day pregnant. Bean is the size of a poppy seed and the gestational sack is just starting to grow. What a crazy Christmas and an emotional rollercoaster!

Mini, I think that's a line 😊!! I'd try to get a First Response test. Despite my positive blood test, digital and First Response, the cheapies are so faint for me still... look at this. Shows the difference in lines!

Congrats tibby what an amazing story, so pleased for you! Sounds like you have a good GP too. All the best for the pregnancy. Did you have any pregnancy symptoms?

mini are you sure when you ovulated as might have been late ovulation which is why line only showing up now. I'd say all your symptoms sound promising. Hope this mornings tests are a bit clearer. Xx
