Awwwe Parney he is sooooo cute!! The first square one baby.
I'm almost 39 weeks. Dropped sooooo low now walking is difficult. My others didn't engage but boy has this one engaged. I feel like he might just fall out.
Trying all the old wives tales to get things going now.

Parney!! Look at him!! What a beautiful boy, you must be so proud, so lovely to see the first square one baby!! Really glad he's a good boy, you are obviously doing a great job making him feel content and secure.
Jodders you're so close! My twin was up all last night contracting, but today back to nothing! He must be imminent though. She's having a boy. Think you are too aren't you? And Radders?

We tried the 'conceive plus' last night! It's a smaller tube than I was expecting, can't imagine it will last long! Tried on DH first and it dried up almost instantly! I didn't buy the applicator version, so we improvised with a calpol syringe!!! I guess the idea is to get it up as far into the cervix as possible right?? Not sure I could tell much difference, no idea if I used enough, don't want to get through too much before OD!! All good fun experimenting though and feeling like I can share more with DH now, we've been a good team lately. Off to our spa tomorrow for some much needed couple time! Heaven! x

Mom - yes evenings are starting to be not good for me I've noticed I eat dinner, complain about feeling sick then fall asleep all by about 9!

Kate - you must've finished by now hope your last day wasn't as awful as you were expecting and you are now relaxing 🍷🍸xx

Tee I must say you sounds so relaxed! Glad to hear you and dh are working as a good team think it makes it so much easier when you can share everything - enjoy your spa weekend! We didn't use the applicator version of conceive plus either just some on him and ahem he helped with locating it for me so to speak! 😊 xx

Have a lovely time at the spa tee - watch your DH doesn't spend too much time in hot water or saunas as it's not good at all for swimmers. They need to stay nice and cool!

Just catching up on everyone's news.

I have had a crazy few weeks again, and it's not looking likely to slow down anytime soon either as we are heading into the breeding season for the horses.

Although I had every intention of using the CBFM this month, I bought some test strips from eBay and they never arrived so i am having a month off monitoring.

As this is my 4th cycle TTC I have a vague idea, and I have the Ovia app so can look back.

I am now CD 9 and we DTD last night for the first time. As I have a 22-25 day cycle I think I ovulate early but who knows!

Kiki, the tiredness I'm my first pregnancy was a bit of a shock. I don't feel too bad this time (think I'm always exhausted so there isn't much of a difference).

Durez are you monitoring cm? I haven't get 3 or 4 days of ewcm or watery before ov. I found the cheapy ov sticks from Amazon were fab. I only tested when I thought I was close to ov and think they were pretty accurate.

Quite bad cramps today and yesterday so think ovulation is happening or v soon. Will check temp tomorrow morning.
We dtd this morning (sun) and fri. Had a nice weekend in Covent Garden. Went to see Motown musical with Dh. Things are ok at the moment, but still working through problems.

Hi, I came off the pill end of December after months of moaning about taking it then DP decides that it's time for us to TTC. We are not actively trying I'm only using P tracker atm to see when on ovulating.

Hi penguin!not heard of p tracker but lots of tips and advise on this thread.
I take temp to see when I've ovulated but it seems to vary. There's lots of ladies on here that ovulate regularly at the same cycle day each month. Coming off pill for me took ages to get out of my system but I know some it works straight away. Good luck on your ttc journey.

Had a lovely weekend at the Spa, then my twin had her baby in the early hours of Sunday morning. He's just gorgeous. I think my ovaries nearly burst when I met him yesterday!

DuRez I guess you've ovulated already, your cycles are very quick! At least you don't have long to wait when you've had an unsuccessful month.

CD9 here. Not getting caught up with too much tracking. Not bothering to temp, and will only opk when mood takes me. Just regular DTD over the next week or so and that'll cover me off for sure. I've never ovulated later than CD15... definitely figured it's not worth getting worked up about DTD on specific days (well it's not made a difference in the past!) as long as it's regular around ovulation. Will keep up the 'conceive plus' though and hope that gives us a helping hand...

Your approach makes total sense and I hope you're enjoying it more without temping and added pressure.

Nearly at end of TWW, I'm 12/13 DPO today. Trying to prepare myself to see AF, but haven't got clear signs either way. Sore boobs and slept badly, too hot and heart racing. No cramps yet. Time will tell! I'm more than ready for it, but can't get hopes up or will be heartbroken.

The exciting/gut wrenching part for you then! Only a couple of days to wait I assume? How long is your LP usually? Really hope you are surprised with a bfp, but I know what you mean, heartbreaking when you've gone too far down the hopeful route only to be disappointed. Where are you at with the fertility clinic now? x

Congratulations on birth of your nephew. You must be excited but can imagine must make you want another soon. It will happen tee.
No don't think I've ovulated, and don't think much chance of catching egg now as Dh and I had another counselling session as well as had additional help and advice and he's a bit up and down mood wise, so as per usual I'm left hanging & wondering if my knickers will be a permanent fixture at night time.

Jam, you are nearly there.. not long to wait. Really hope it's a bfp for you. I think I want it more now than I did before; but that's because I think it's unlikely I'll get the opportunity now for awhile until he sorts himself out. I've even think I want a baby more than I want him. That's terrible isn't it...

Not at all footy we women are biologically programmed to want babies, it's Mother Nature. I really hope your DH gets his act together and appreciates you. Would you consider asking him for some space for a few weeks, to let him know you have needs too and it's not all about him?

I've been lying in bed randomly thinking about how women ever got pregnant during the war, is that weird? Also all those generations that had like 13 kids. I wonder how many we would all have had if we'd never been on contraception?! Really do regret not coming off sooner. Being pregnant seems like such a distant dream right now.

Tee you will get there! You are in perfect time. Your body can conceive, you've got a supply of good sperm. It's just the right one that will take and stay. I feel so positive for you and that it won't be long.

No news from me. I keep thinking my boobs are more sensitive than usual but I can't trust them or myself. Keep reminding myself that if AF comes it will be okay and I can try again in a few weeks. I feel like I'm getting closer for some reason

Thanks for the encouraging words Jam! I feel the same, like the right time is approaching. DH doing a sterling job keeping up (literally) with his end of the bargain! We're in a really good place and the time has never felt better for an addition to the family. Last 2 rooms in the house being decorated this week. We literally could not be more ready! My boss just told me they are expecting in August, desperately want to return the news! DS seeming so grown up lately too, I know he'd also be a help with a little one. Trying to focus on the positives of a big age gap!

I know the golden rule is don't trust the boobs, but I definitely noticed a change with the last pregnancy, they felt heavier and just generally noticed them more! When are you expecting AF in your head?? Are you still using preseed??

AF due tomorrow. I have no idea if it will come - I think it's 50/50. Really trying not to get my hopes up as the disappointment is crushing. Yes we still use preseed, I'm a fan :)

Welcome penguin - I never tracked at all I'm afraid so don't know to much about it I went by my body signs and fertility meds!

Cd21No action here! Since a few days ago, but no temp rise anyway. Not sure if I ovulated or not at all this cycle?! Only taken a few temps so bit hard to judge. Have got creamy cm today which I didn't have yesterday. No EWCM! Plodding on..

Alls well. I'm in California until the beginning of next week. Think I'm about 8dpo (not quite sure with all time changes and whatnot). It's my 33rd bday. Not pleased with that. Have had a great day so far visiting my old physics teacher who is retiring this year. Glad we got to chat teaching...

Will test next Tuesday when I'm back. It not exactly holding my breath!! Will catch up properly when I do get back!!
