Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

 1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
 2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
 3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
 4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
 5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing a Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Fermented milk does sound terribad!

CD 11 and we've not DTD at all this month. Just feeling apathetic all of a sudden.

kwick · 16/03/2017 19:09

Take it easy nova Flowers

I am sticking with my fermented milk - lovely with Bourbon biscuits Grin

Singingforsanity · 16/03/2017 23:26

Mooncup usage approved by the Viroids so it must be ok then! Grin

Not ov tested today (running out of sticks so doing EOD) but body is suggesting it's ov'ing and DH is bloody away with work until tomorrow night! May not be having a Christmas baby after all!

Jelly do you think you just need a rest from it all?

TractorComesFirst · 17/03/2017 06:03

Hey folks! Do you mind if I join?
Was here (under a different name) when ttc DS.

Name: Tractor
Age: 29
Ttc: 1 month
Dc: 1 DS 18 months

Just finished my first ERTD after starting to TTC so it's back on the JSing.

Singingforsanity · 17/03/2017 10:13

Welcome back Tractor! I was also here probably about the same time, was Callipy before.

FuzzyOwl · 17/03/2017 11:05

Hi viroids. Sorry to see so many familiar names still here. Hopefully not for much longer.

I'm tentatively dipping my feet back into the ttc pool. DD2 is five months old, I have had my debrief about the birth and good to go again. We figured since we are old, we might as well start sooner for DC3 and see how things go.

TractorComesFirst · 17/03/2017 11:05

Hi Singing, can't remember what I was previously called but only really lurked but now I'm at home with ds I should have more time to chat!

kwick · 17/03/2017 18:48

Welcome back @TractorComesFirst !!! What an interesting name you have Hmm

SofiePendragon · 17/03/2017 20:30

Welcome back tractor and fuzzy

Hobbit19 · 17/03/2017 21:11

Hello tractor and fuzzy! Kudos fuzzy for even contemplating dtd with a 5 month old, think I was still sitting on a cushion at that point! Smile Sorry to hear you had a birth that required a debrief.

Jelly, shaaaaag!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Singingforsanity · 17/03/2017 23:19

Welcome back Fuzzy, also in awe here about your speedy return to the Jser's! DS took 2 hours to get to sleep tonight instead of his normal hour/hour and a half so I'm sitting here thinking 'why the hell are we ttc again'?! How the hell are we going to manage 2 crap sleepers?! 😩

NovaArt3mis · 18/03/2017 08:33

Welcome back tractor and fuzzy

jelly, what pud said!

kwick · 18/03/2017 08:48

fuzzyowl is that you?

FuzzyOwl · 18/03/2017 19:00

Thanks everyone. Smile

One it was more a debrief for my peace of mind about trying for another baby and making sure it wasn't a silly idea.

Singing DD2 is the easy one to get to sleep. The problem at the moment is all with DD1! She was always such a good sleeper until DD2 came along. Hopefully your DS settles well for you tonight.

Ah Kwick it is lovely being back although I hope it is not long before you are graduating. How are things? What have I missed?

My stats:
Name: FuzzyOwl
Age: 38
TTC: First cycle
DC: DD1 (almost 2), DD2 (five months)
Fur babies: Loads of cats!

coribeth · 19/03/2017 08:55

Welcome back fuzzy and tractor Smile

coribeth · 19/03/2017 21:30

So the adoption lady is phoning tomorrow I'm quite excited even though I know it's gonna be a lengthy involved process (bit like ttc Confused)

Singingforsanity · 19/03/2017 23:54

Waaa, exciting cori! Feel free to totally disregard this suggestion but in my old job I worked with children who'd been adopted and fostered and many treasured their 'memory boxes' (or variants). This'll probably be suggested to you I'm sure but I'd start writing to your future DC as soon as you can to let them know when they're older how much they were wanted 😊 I did as soon as I became pregnant with DS as I think it's worthwhile for any kid.

Just reporting back on the mooncup as a jizz catcher trial - fab - will always do this from now on. No idea if it would raise the chances of upduffing but from a mess-minimisation point of view it's a winner Grin

kwick · 20/03/2017 07:33

So exciting cori!!!! Best of luck!!!

fuzzy still waiting for AF after second MC (after a medicated IUI) in February. Well at least we know I can get pregnant. My clinic, CRGH, have done a round of blood testing to see if they can get a clue as to whether I have an underlying issue which is causing the repeated MCs - going in on Friday to get results and talk next steps with consultant.

kwick · 20/03/2017 07:37

@Ain626 how are you my lovely? Long time no hear.

ChatEnOeuf · 20/03/2017 11:46

Happy news, viroids! MicroChat arrived safely on Tuesday 14th. Bit early, 35+5, but wasn't moving normally and induction planned for later in the week so we cracked on on 13th. Unfortunately, Micro wasn't happy about the whole labour experience so came out the sunroof in rather speedy fashion. All's well now, we're so relieved - we're home now and boobing like a pro :)

Cheering you all on from my sofa!

FuzzyOwl · 20/03/2017 12:22

Hope the phone call goes/went well today Cori.

Sorry to hear that Kwick and I hope you get good news on Friday so that next time is successful.

Singingforsanity · 20/03/2017 18:40

Wow Chat, amazing news! A million congratulations and well done on the boobing! GrinGrinGrin Look after yourself! Cake

kwick · 20/03/2017 19:58

@ChatEnOeuf CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You did a baby!!!

coribeth · 20/03/2017 22:32

Grinnice one chat
Phone call with adoption agency went well they now give our details on to local councils to see if they can accommodate us and then the local councils will be intouch to do home visit all sounds rather complex to me but guess it's a step in right direction!

NovaArt3mis · 21/03/2017 06:30

Congrats chat!

Exciting times cori did they say when you could roughly expect to hear from local authorities?

DH and I have annual leave booked for next week and my app tells my it could be peak DTD time then. A week in bed works for me!
