Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

 1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
 2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
 3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
 4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
 5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing a Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Congratulations Sofie Star

Sorry la Flowers

The witch was late but got me today, hate when she fucks with me like this

corgi88 · 03/02/2017 15:58

Sorry la what a headfuck. But a sign that the right things are happening and hopefully next month will be your month!
Angel sorry pet - sodding witch.
Nova have been thinking of you and hoping you are doing ok. Glad your cats are being cute! I had medical management for my second MC in the end as I had a wedding coming up. You tend to get a bit of warning (I.e. severe cramps) if any products are going to start coming out - though alas I was in IKEA of all places when my second one happened Blush how many weeks was the pregnancy measuring pet? My first at 6 weeks was over fairly quickly, but the second was 8 weeks and med management took a while, but once it was all out everything settled down after about a week and my period restarted after 4-5 weeks. Such a shitty turd of a time though so be very kind to yourself and buy yourself many treats and gin
Just I hope you are doing well my lovely. Thinking of you and hoping your ivf wait isn't too long.
Kwick how are you feeling?
Cori adoption sounds so exciting! What a wonderful thing to do as well.

corgi88 · 03/02/2017 15:58

I forgot to say congratulations Sofie! Hurrah! Star

kwick · 03/02/2017 17:26

corgi I am shit scarred if I am honest. Next scan (9 weeks) next Thursday. Womble feels really heavy and still getting pm cramps. Boobage seems to have settles down a bit. Low grade nausea most days no actual chucking up.
How are you my lovely?

corgi88 · 03/02/2017 17:58

Ah kwick it's only to be expected. Being scared all the time is exhausting though! I'm ok, 19 weeks today and still generally terrified. Will be better after 20w scan or so I tell myself
Had that heavy womble feeling pretty much all the time - it's busy growing!

kwick · 03/02/2017 20:14

Fanks corgi Flowers
Just had dinner with cousin with twins who said she did not "relax" until 4 months in...

Catscatsandmorecats · 03/02/2017 20:39

Hello lovely viroids, I thought I'd check in.

La sorry to hear the witch got you after faint bfps, so, so agonizing.

Nova I have been quiet (lurking) so didn't get chance to say hello but I wanted to send you hugs, you are not alone, please be kind to yourself. And enjoy your cat.

Corgi so lovely to hear you are doing OK.

Just I think egg donation would be such a lovely thing to do. Whatever you choose though I am glad you're getting help, keeping everything crossed for you.

Chat Are you around? How is everything going?

Kwick Massive congratulations! You are doing so well, the wait between scans is torture.

I am nearly 9 weeks pregnant, I have been too scared and superstitious to even post until now. I have had three scans and all is looking good. It's still fairly high risk due to my clotting gene but more positive than the last ones. I was accepted on to a clinical trial but ended up randomised to the control group so no drugs to protect against clotting, I am being well looked after though. I will hop over to grads with Chat, Corgi and Kwick (when you get there) when I get to 12 weeks.

Sending you all lots of Wine Flowers GinCake as appropriate.

Hobbit19 · 03/02/2017 21:19

Just popping in to snog La. What a shitter. I'm thinking of you and I luffs you lots.

Kwick, I was absent for your bfp! Wow! Gx everything goes smoothly. Womble cramps are normal.

Nova, unmumsnetty hugs for you. Cats are ace at such times. And all other times too.

Corgi, I'm glad things are going okay and that you have another scan soon. How are you surviving without gin?

Just, how are you doing?

Jelly Shaaaaaaaaag!

Cats, congratulations, wonderful news!

Hope I haven't missed anyone. We are still waiting until after the marathon to ttc but I've been putting dates into Ovia though and so far (gx) my cycles seem much more regular than before which will be helpful. AF is a bitch though and is completely wiping me out for a week each month, not good for training, must get some iron!

ChatEnOeuf · 03/02/2017 21:42

Flowers Nova

GX for next week, Kwick - I'm still anxious @30w...

Hi Cats/Sofie, congrats! How exciting

NovaArt3mis · 03/02/2017 23:06

Thanks all. corgi I was 10 weeks when I found out at scan on Sunday that baby stopped growing at 8+2ish.

Ended up in hospital yesterday, long story short I had a blockage at the neck of the womb which caused my body to into shock. Woke up in an ambulance Shock which was a bit scary.

I'm doing better now and they think the worst of it is probably over. I'll go for a scan on Monday morning and they'll decide then if I need the surgery.

la that's so crap Flowers

Congrats cats Grin

Looking forward to hearing continued good news about all you early upduffed viroids. Fills me full of hope for next time.

Going to close friends wedding tomorrow. I've not had a drink yet, sounds silly but if I have one tomorrow it'll feel like it's really over.

kwick · 04/02/2017 05:57

nova I can only imagine how scary that was. You really have been through the wringer but are still stabding which shows what an amazeballs lady you are.
You don't have to drink - I stayed on the wagon all the way through right from my first IUI - I never gave up hope.

NovaArt3mis · 04/02/2017 08:15

It's been a tough old time for sure. Our car got written off yesterday after an uninsured driver hit us. Can't catch a bloody break.

I think I'll drink the toast champers but not anything else. Mainly because I don't feel like it. So relieved I don't need to go to work next week.

Sorry the with got you angel

When is your marathon pud? I struggle to drive 26 miles without a nap Grin

Lalalalalaa · 04/02/2017 10:43

Hello viroids!
I'm in the hairdresser having some 'me' time and getting my roots done.

Af arrived with vengeance overnight, stupid bitch witch. So I'm presuming I had a CP of some sort. I'm hoping it's a good sign though at least that a) lp has lengthened with b Complex and b) that there's nothing wrong with Mr La's swimmers! :) determined to focus on the positive but wibbling slightly so be gentle please!

Nova wtaf?! How's it possible that the universe is being such a dick to you?! I'm so sorry lovely Flowers. I got pregnant with DS the month following my mc. You are more fertile but do make sure you're feeling up to it mentally as well as physically. I was desperate to be pregnant again as soon as possible.

Angel I'm sorry that stupid witch got you

Just I hope you're ok?

Kwick that all sounds very reassuring! Gx for your scan. My dm said to me once that all those womble rumblings are the baby settling in and getting him/herself comfy for the long haul. That image always comforted me when I worried about them.

Cats that is wonderful news!!!! My friend has just been diagnosed with clotting disorder and is ttc so I'd be interested to hear anything more that might help her. Gx for you and your wee bean Smile

Pud snogs pud love you lots.

Chat 30 weeks squeeeeee! ❤

jellypi3 · 04/02/2017 13:07

la Wine Cake Flowers

Hobbit19 · 04/02/2017 13:54

La, well done for being positive, not always easy!

Nova I'm doing London Marathon in April, Eep! (Fertile window is the week after according to Ovia so I shall be dinning my cape then!)

Lalalalalaa · 04/02/2017 14:15

Had to press send before I was finished as she needed to wash my hair. How inconsiderate! :D

Nova I hope you have a good day today. You don't have to drink. It's totally your decision. Thinking of you

angelazul · 04/02/2017 15:00

Oh Nova how awful, it never blooming rains but it pours. Just so whatever feels right for you, don't feel like you "have to" do anything.

Cats congratulations, absolutely everything is crossed for a sticky bean.

Chat 30 weeks, how the hell did that happen??

Does anyone get clots with AF? I normally don't, but I'm having some today. Though AF is a lot heavier than normal, so maybe that's why.

NovaArt3mis · 05/02/2017 00:27

Just home from wedding. Was a lovely day for my friends and a nice distraction. And my couple of weepy moments could be disguised as happy tears.
The girl sitting next to me I'd met before spoke to me about her little girl who was stillborn at 34 weeks so I told her abt mmc and we had a little chat about how cruel things can be but having the stength to keep going and that was comforting.
Then the groom's mum hugged me so tight as we were leaving I could tell that she knew.
I'm very glad I went.

la I think I'm going to want to try again pretty soon. We've been ttc almost 2 years now and I think August will be a lot more bearable if there's a chance I'll be upduffed again.

What marvellous timing pud Grin

kwick · 05/02/2017 09:39

nova I am so pleased yesterday went well for you. Talking about it helps.

justtheonethen · 05/02/2017 10:03

nova hats off to you lady, you're being so strong. Flowers

Sorry I'm not here much, waiting for next IVF appointment at end of Feb and should start in march. Feel a bit of a fraud being here!

TriJo · 05/02/2017 13:22

Pud I'm supposed to be doing the marathon as well but haven't run in 2 weeks after needing stitches in my knee after a very heavy fall while running.

coribeth · 05/02/2017 21:53

Well viroids not sure what the hell is wrong with me I am like super horny have not stopped shagging for three days dtd six times today poor df is like fast a sleep think I broke him! Blush
