Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

 1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
 2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
 3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
 4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
 5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing a Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 14/01/2017 09:09

Thanks kwick Smile

justtheonethen · 14/01/2017 11:19

cuppa drink the wine, at this point it would make zero difference anyway.

Happy weekend all!

justtheonethen · 14/01/2017 11:20

And also hooyah for early testing Wink

blackcherries · 15/01/2017 13:47

Popping in to ask an ovulation question: I usually have 26-day cycles, with one 32-day cycle a few months ago when I didn't get a positive OPK until cd 16 (usually get it cd12-14).

I'm now cd17 and still no positive OPK! Anyone know why, or whether it might not pick up on LH surge this month? I'm using clear blue smiley face ones (not dual hormone). It's a massive pain in the arse as we've booked OH travel based on my normally regular cycle which is now going to sabotage everything!

blackcherries · 15/01/2017 14:06

starting testing with OPKs on the morning of cd9, had bit of aching on the relevant side and place around cd7 or 8 which I'd normally associate with ovulation but surely that would've been way too early...?

blackcherries · 15/01/2017 14:07

started testing, that should say

NoHayMasQueHoy · 15/01/2017 17:31

It is possible you iced early black, it sounds like your lp is pretty much always 14 days, so I guess if you did ice on cd8 you would be due AF on cd22. I think if I were you I'd just keep going with opks, and half expect AF in a few days. But I'm not in a good position to advise because I'm either 10dpo, 8dpo or 4dpo Confused

jellypi3 · 16/01/2017 13:50

Right AF visit over this month. Time to get back on it.

Tips for shagging when severely sleep deprived and having a little person in the same room as you?

SofiePendragon · 16/01/2017 21:39

jelly I could do with some too! Our sofas have been seeing a lot more action this time round but it can't get a bit awkward Confused

black did you get any ewcm before you got the pain? I got ewcm on cd5 (right at the end of af) and a right sided stitch today (Cd7) but not sure if I have ovulated or just symptom spotting!

SofiePendragon · 16/01/2017 21:42

Hope all the other Viroids are busy JSing - it's been quiet on here for a couple of days!

MrsC1982 · 17/01/2017 06:20

No jsing for me, missed my entire window due to stomach flu grr

February it is I guess!

kwick · 17/01/2017 09:12

No JSing for me - that ship sailed a long time ago! But I am waiting for my 6 week scan... shitting myself...

ScottishLady7 · 17/01/2017 09:21

Eek kwick is your scan today?! Hope everything goes well!!

kwick · 17/01/2017 09:46

Scan showed egg sac but nothing else. Scanner thinks too early. Scan again next week. Shattered.

ScottishLady7 · 17/01/2017 10:03

Oh kwick it is still so early. Hopefully next week you see a little baby nugget! Keeping everything crossed for you!!!

kwick · 17/01/2017 10:21

Fanks scottish

Nearly decked lady in waiting room... she is was making so much noise eating and drinking it was making me feel sick!!!

ZylaB · 17/01/2017 12:57

Fx and gd for next week kwick

ZylaB · 17/01/2017 12:57

Gx not gd!

corgi88 · 17/01/2017 13:41

Flowers and hand hold for you kwick, I know it must be hard not to think the worst but 6 weeks is really really early days. Gx for next week.

NoHayMasQueHoy · 17/01/2017 19:33

Ah kwick it's too early to panic. Remember today you are pregnant. Flowers

I'm somewhere in the tww. Think I'll test friday if no AF, and take it from there. That will be 15dpo from when I think I ovulated, but only 8dpo from when ff thinking I ovulated. But since I didn't temp or opk who knows Hmm

blackcherries · 18/01/2017 15:13

good luck kwick all best wishes...

sofie and nohas thanks, have never iced that early (or this late) so no idea which is it, if i hadn't had the pains then I'd assume late, but I really didn't think it was time to ice on cd 7 or whenever it was so just ignored it really and didn't notice any ewcm! Oh well. Perhaps I just missed the surge, but that's never happened before.

blackcherries · 18/01/2017 15:16

btw for the first time in AGES have had some much more relaxed and therefore successful JSing (due to diagnosis that means we're unlikely to conceive without IVF, which although is bad news has really taken the pressure off so to speak) but obviously it WOULD coincide with no positive opks... and if early icing we probably didn't start doing it in time to catch it.

I hate this game!

coribeth · 18/01/2017 22:26

Hmm af 27 day cycle wtf?

LucyLugosi · 18/01/2017 23:39

Guys I need a massive hooyah
