I almost put this in arts and crafts, seeing as how we talk about crochet as much as we talk about babies!

Twins!!! Shock Shock Shock Amazing news! You so deserve this

Best of luck cups Flowers

DancerOnIce · 08/02/2018 22:17

You did indeed make me something Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 08/02/2018 22:33

Ah, thank you both Smile

They are the same frosties as A Cups, crazy stuff. How are you feeling about this cycle?

I know who you are now Dancer!!

I'm feeling very sickand tired. Have also beem spotting quite a bit but there was no cause found on the scan. It's bloody terrifying though Sad

DancerOnIce · 08/02/2018 22:40

Sorry you’re not feeling great. Hopefully your sickness won’t be like it was last time. It’s all so scary isn’t it. Twins though... soooo exciting!!

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 09/02/2018 06:48

Maybe sorry to hear about the spotting. I know lots of people have spotting and all is fine but early pregnancy is so scary as it is without any extra worry. Brooking it settles down and brooking the sickness isn't too bad. What's the plan going forward? When's your next scan?

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 09/02/2018 06:51

I'm feeling nervous, I desperately want it to work but trying to keep my hopes in check! I've prepaid for 2 fresh cycles so will get another go if the FETs don't work. TBH though the thought of doing another fresh go fills my with horror. I've had enough of it all Confused

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/02/2018 07:19

Oh cups it's so bloody hard. How many frosties do you have? Are they day 3 or 5? Will you have 2 put back?

I found treatment so much harder this time. Having anotjer small person to look after makes it way more difficult. I also found it mentally tougher. It felt like I had more to lose this time. If that makes sense? I'm brooking so hard that this FET is the one x

Spotting sucks. I had it for 12 weeks with Amalie too, not that that makes me feel better! I have a 10 week reassurance scan booked. First midwife appointment is on Sunday. Now we have moved, we get way better antenatal care as they use One to One midwives.

Dancer what are your next steps? Twins are crazy exciting. Still haven't let myself believe it yet though!

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 09/02/2018 07:50

I've got 4 day 5 blasts, they will only let me put one back. I'm at Care and they are very strict on single transfer. I've asked/begged for 2 but they aren't budging! Yep it was a lot harder doing it with a toddler to manage. I felt so run down/ill after doing the fresh cycle in November. I start buserelin tomorrow for around 5/6 weeks. My FET is going to take around a week longer than it should to accommodate a holiday. I'm dreading it as I get lots of side effects on buserelin.

I thought you had bleeding with A, it's still terrifying though I know. What progesterone are you on? I did Ultrogesterone (I think!) last time, they are 3 times a day and a right pain. Can't wait to start them again!! That's great news about the midwives, I've heard such good things about one2one 👍

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 09/02/2018 07:52

Dancer are you planning to see the GP then to see if you can start tests?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/02/2018 08:04

That's fantastic about the blasts Cup! This FET cycle was longer for me to acconadate Christmas. I only had 4 weeks on Buserilin though, 5/6 is hardcore. I also get side effects, its grim. Are you going anywhere nice?

I'm on cyclogest. I think its that causing the bleeding if I'm honest, irritating my cervix. They're twice a day. I've always got an oily bum Blush

DancerOnIce · 09/02/2018 18:56

Hope the holiday takes your mind off it a bit cups and hope you’re off somewhere nice!

You’re probably right about the bleeding being caused by your irritated cervix maybe (that sounds a bit funny like a grumpy cervix!) Brooking the spotting stops soon

I’m not sure what my next steps are. I’m a bit fed up of it all. The consultant said to wait until I’d had a period before trying again so they could date the pregnancy. But it’s unlikely I’ll fall pregnant that quickly, and if I do I’m not bothered if they can’t date the pregnancy!

I had fertility testing before having F which all came back normal. Now she’s getting older I just feel there’s more pressure with the age gap increasing. I’ll go back to the gp at some point to have the fertility tests booked agin, but I feel like they won’t show anything. It seems to take me a year to get pregnant. Just hope I don’t have to wait another year from now(I appreciate to some people a year is nothing so sorry for moaning)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/02/2018 19:40

Never apologise Dancer when you want a baby, it seems like forever and a day. Not having a 'reason must be so frustrating, as it means you don't know what to 'fix

I've never understood the waiting part either, as soon as you have a scan they date you anyway!!

DancerOnIce · 09/02/2018 19:51

Thanks lovely. You’re spot on - it just feels so frustrating to have no reason. I wish there was something I could do or medication I could take. At least I’d feel like something was happening! I just feel like I’ll go to the gp, the tests will come back fine again, and I’ll be back to wondering why it’s not happening

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/02/2018 22:58

It must be so incredibly frustrating. Have you ever been to a fertility clinic?

DancerOnIce · 10/02/2018 07:09

No, do you think it’s worth it then? I wasn’t sure if they’d do anything but would definitely go if they could do something for me. Maybe I’ll try making an appointment

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/02/2018 09:22

I think it could be beneficial, many of them have free open days for information and sometimes even free initial consultations. By all means get as much done through your GP as possible though, anything to keep the costs down a bit Confused

DancerOnIce · 11/02/2018 18:22

Thanks for the advice Flowers I’ll give the doctors a call again and see if I can get a telephone appointment.
How are you doing?

Imps9 · 12/02/2018 14:44

Oh my gosh I din’t Even know where to begin.

MAYYUYBEEEEEEE!!!! Oh my lovely that is such wonderful wonderful news!!! I’d hoped that something was occurring when you closed your order books earlier than expected! I cannot believe more Brooking twins. That is so fantastic. And lucky A being a big sister to 2!!

Imps9 · 12/02/2018 14:47

Cups Brooking so hard for this round too. We’ve decided to start IVF process again when AF comes back (I’m still feeding J a couple of times in the day and at night so am still not dropping eggs). But the logistics of having treatment is already doing my head in - Mr I isn’t around much during the week. Luckily I have some local friends who can look after J during appts, but it’s a big ask for them to do that b

Imps9 · 12/02/2018 14:49

Dancer am trying to remember you from before! Was it some sort of dog name?! Sorry things are tricky. Am dreading the inevitable future MCs which there are bound to be. I really wish things were easy.

Imps9 · 12/02/2018 14:51

Bloody hell Maybe I really am so so so pleased for you Flowers

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/02/2018 14:58

Oh Imps thank you so much lovely Smile I closed my books after the chemical as I had literally worked myself into the ground and I wanted a clearer head this time! I spent the morning in epu as had a bkeed in the night but the two wrigglers are good and healthy. They've put it down to my cervix and the cyclogest. It's all suck a head fuck, isn't it?

How exciting getting back on the IVF train. I totally hear you on the logistics, it's so much harder with a small person in tow. I hope those eggs start dropping soon

Sounds like a plan Dancer I believe every little helps in the long run

Imps9 · 12/02/2018 15:10

Yes it is a massive massive head fuck. I hope your local EPU is as good as the one near me. They were so so brilliant when I had my ectopic.

Imps9 · 12/02/2018 15:12

HOW long will you be on cyclogest for? Are they the bum bullets? I much preferred those to the fanjo cream if I’m honest. Not that I particularly enjoyed shoving something up my arse daily, but it was far less mess!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/02/2018 15:23

Haha, im not a fan. They're fanjo delivered but they're more like fanny candles. Could stick them up my bum, but I keep getting diarrhoea. When did I get so glam?!

The epu were fantastic. The lead nurse said I can call anytime in the next few weeks if I'm worried. I'll be under they're care for all my growth scans after 20 weeks too
