I almost put this in arts and crafts, seeing as how we talk about crochet as much as we talk about babies!

Brooking that all is well, Loops

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 11/10/2017 20:57

Sorry, was no internet at hospital. Tabitha Lily arrived Monday morning, 7lb 9 oz ish, had v bad tongue tie but we were stubborn at hospital so they snipped it yesterday and she is feeding so well tonight. Got home a couple of hours ago, so she’s met her brothers, so sweet. I’m not good, tired and sore but the spinal went wrong so now have nerve damage to my back and bum and no idea if it is permanent or not, and they are doing a referral to a neurologist, am hoping it’s temporary and will resolve on it’s own at home on a decent bed. But so happy that she is finally here Smile

ScarlettInSpace · 11/10/2017 23:29

Ah loopy sorry to hear you've got complications but sooooooo happy for you that your little girl is here safe & sound, and what a gorgeous name 😘😘😘

Imps9 · 12/10/2017 09:09

Hurrah! You got to keep the beautiful name!! Soooo happy for you Loops. What a lot you've been through to finally meet her. V glad feeding is good - Barry-Baxter had a very bad tongue-tie too (the whole length of his tongue) but they wouldn't do anything so we had to pay privately to have it snipped when he was 5 days old. I'd have given up feeding by the time he was a week old if we hadn't had it done. Wish the NHS was better at diagnosing and dealing with tongue-tie.

Anyhoo, this isn't about me or B-B, it's about you and your lovely family. I really hope your back and bum sort themselves out very soon. Congrats, lovely.

Imps9 · 10/11/2017 14:55

Aaaah B-B is sick and in need of non-stop cuddles and boob today so I just read through the whole of this thread and was in pieces by the end of it. How well we all did in the face of scaryness/adversity. Brookers are the best.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 16/11/2017 09:55

Aww Loopy I’m so happy she’s here! What a lovely name Smile I hope you are doing ok and recovering well

How are you getting on Scarlett? How many weeks are you now?

Imps hope B-B is better. I remember re reading the thread on which I had Z during an all nighter when he was ill once. Very emotional!

I’ve had my 4 go at ICSI, I overstimulated and got 23 eggs. Only 9 where mature, 8 fertilised and we ended up with 5 embryos at day 5. Which is the best we have ever done, we’ve never had frosties before. I paid for it though, I felt so ill afterwards and ended up on cabergoline to try to reduce the OHSS. I’m still feeling rough now at the end of the 2ww. I’m only 2 days from OTD and it’s a BFN. I’m sure that’s accurate. I’m feeling pretty low, it never gets any easier does it? At least I’ll have some frozen to try and I’m still feeling so lucky to have my little Z. Despite him being a tyrannical 2 year old Grin

I hope everyone else is ok x

ScarlettInSpace · 17/11/2017 12:59

Hey how funny, I randomly thought I’d check this thread and there’s people in it 😂

imps hope you’re all feeling better!

cups sorry to hear it’s bfn, but it ain’t over til it’s over! Good to hear you have some Frosties in the bank 😉

loopy hope you are all ok!

I’ll be 31 weeks on Sunday 😱 she’s measuring big, but not off the scale so they say they aren’t too bothered, despite writing LGA all over my notes... also she’s still breech, I’ve got a scan in 3 weeks then a mw appt two weeks after that, so she has 5 weeks to turn around or they start to talk planned cs. As it is I’ll be induced at some point from 38 weeks apparently...

Ah in huge amounts of rib pain, it seems this is because she has her back rammed in under my rib cage 😖

I’ve started to use up my annual leave booking off 1 day a week from now til Christmas then I’m pretty much done with work, bar a couple of meetings at the start of jan - how the hell has that come round already 😱

Imps9 · 20/11/2017 14:55

What is your EDD Scarlett? Sorry about the rib pain - DD being wedged at an odd angle can’t help!

Cups arrrrg sorry about OHSS 😬😬 Hurrah for frosties though. Like you, we never got any - I always responded pretty badly so we never really got many eggs. The BFN is gutting, but you’re not at OTD yet so really can’t rule it out. Will be brooking, brooking, brooking for you.

Loops how is your back??

ScarlettInSpace · 20/11/2017 15:12

21st Jan... and counting!

We did get 1 frosty, but I've really not enjoyed being pg at all, I can't imagine doing this with a small child in tow, I don't think we'll be going back for it Sad

Imps9 · 27/11/2017 08:21

YOu okay Cups? Flowers

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 13/12/2017 20:32

Sorry not checked the thread in ages! It was a BFN sadly. I’ve had my follow up and they want me to have 2/3 periods before starting again as my ovaries are still big. Not looking forward to waiting but at least I can enjoy Christmas drinks guilt free!

Hope everyone else is ok and looking forward to Xmas x

DancerOnIce · 29/01/2018 13:43

I’ve name changed since I last posted (a long time ago) but always follow the thread

Hope everyone has had a good Christmas and baby Scarlett is doing well!

Hope you’re doing ok cups. Sorry about the BFN Flowers

Hoping for a bit of advice... I conceived DC1 after a year of brooking. Been trying to conceive DC2 for over a year and just had a MMC a couple of weeks ago. I don’t fancy waiting yet another year to conceive again. Does anyone know if anything medical can be done? I’m happy to go private if there’s anything that can be investigated. Or is it just a waiting game again? (I had fertility testing before DC1 and all normal)

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 03/02/2018 20:17

Hi Dancer, what was your name before?? So sorry to hear about your mmc Sad I'm not sure they will do any investigations on the NHS until you have 3 miscarriages. If you are over 35 though they will do the basic fertility investigations if you've been ttc for more than 6 months. It's a year if you are under 35. You could go private for immune testing etc but i think it's quite expensive. Most of these things take a lot of time sadly, it's horrible waiting when you really want a baby though. Hope it happens for you soon x

Scarlet how are you? Hope baby is here and you are having lots of lovely baby snuggles.

Loopy hope you and the family are well, how are the boys doing with their little sister?

I hope everyone else is doing ok? I'm getting ready to start my frozen cycle next week and aiming for transfer towards the end of March. Fingers crossed this one works!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 07/02/2018 20:28
DancerOnIce · 08/02/2018 08:47

Thanks for the reply cups! I think I’ll go back and ask for fertility testing. I wasn’t sure if they’d turn me away as I did fall pregnant recently. Best of luck with your frozen cycle!

Maybe! You’re back!! How’s things?

DancerOnIce · 08/02/2018 08:47

(Oh I had an animal name before but was a bit outing)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 08/02/2018 09:20

DancerOnIce · 08/02/2018 19:56

DancerOnIce · 08/02/2018 21:13

Argghhhh I’m so happy for you!!! Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 08/02/2018 21:35

Cups my lovely, how are you? I've had a read through the thread, I'm so sorry you've been having such a tough time. Have you started your FET yet?

Dancer have I made you something?!

I've been lurking for a few weeks but hadn't plucked up the courage to post Blush

The rat has indeed been smacked here. I had a FET in the summer that resulted in a chemical. Started my second FET on my birthday in November and had my early scan yesterday at 7+3.....and it's twins!!!

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 08/02/2018 21:49

Oh my god Maybe ShockShockShock massive congratulations!!! How are you and MrM feeling about twins?! Was it a double transfer? Are these your Frosties from the cycle for A? Talk
about amazing news, so happy for you x

I'm starting down regulating on Saturday aiming for transfer mid to late March
