Sad sorry to hear this boggle xx have you got 1 clomid cycle left or is that it? xx

YouBoggleMyMind · 19/10/2016 17:02

I have one more round but no provera so I have to wait for someone to call me to tell me what I can do next. I don't want to not use it but I guess it depends what they say. Think I should have called about the chemical pregnancy and got advice before starting again. My own fault.

Ok I just had a call from my clinic. they are happy for me to do my last round of clomid and are going to post me a prescription for provera. It seems I'm still on the waiting list for a lap and dye and drilling or we can proceed with IVF as apparently we do qualify for it now... I challenged him and said I thought it was 3 but he said no, 2 years. I feel like I have a bit more of a plan now which is good.

Purple ah I'm with you, that would annoy me too with the lack of certainty. So you're having a break this cycle? Hope you're feeling better today?

Pug how did the docs go?

Elly hope your referral comes soon! I'm using an antibiotic prescription cream that has to be kept in the fridge for my skin, just had to promise the doc I'd stop using it when I get pg. I had terrible skin with sore boils etc. that woke me up when I rolled over and they rubbed the pillow they were so bad, from age 19-22 so when I came off my pill and saw 1 or 2 creeping back I was at the docs demanding the prescription lol. Also on my last long cycle the cramps etc. came the week before AF showed.

Amy ohh noo, I hope you managed to get some rest. How was work?

Boggle so sorry to hear that. What dose of clomid was it? Have you heard from the clinic? Can your GP give you the provera? I rang mine and requested a prescription for some last week explaining I didn't want to wait to see the specialist as it's pushing me back time-wise and ither people had suggested they could do me a prescription in such circumstances (a little lie), she said she'd discuss it with another doc and call me back & she did me the prescription the following day but it just so happened it was the day AF showed lol. But good to know I've got that option there should I need it in future.

danigrace · 20/10/2016 10:46

Oops sorry Boggle just saw your post, that's great news. What do you think you'll do?

YouBoggleMyMind · 20/10/2016 11:02

Hi dani, if this next cycle isn't successful then we'll have to go back and talk about what next. I will ask about injectables as it is far less invasive than IVF but they may not offer it.

Hi I posted on here a while ago but then iv just been following along reading everyone's stories. I have asked about injectables when I was at my consultant app n they basically said they don't do that anymore and to go to ivf if my last 3 clomid don't work. But everyones consultants say different things don't they.

YouBoggleMyMind · 20/10/2016 12:12

It was mentioned in another conversation in August so I'm hoping we can go back to it again. Hopefully we won't even need it and this round of clomid will work xxx

hey we're well on our way on this 2nd thread!! near 750 entries!

on another note: those who have had clomid, how's your CM been? I've noticed that mine appears to have increased by a rediculus amount! I didn't notice at first, but now it's getting to the point where it's uncomfortable and I have to go to the toilet to literally just wipe it away some days Shock I thought that clomid dried you up!!!!

YouBoggleMyMind · 22/10/2016 09:27

I noticed mine abit on the lead up to ovulation on the 2 cycles that did produce follicles but not enough for me to think I gotta go deal with this every 5 minutes. Could you wear a panty liner to catch it? Xx

OP posts:
AmyC86 · 23/10/2016 08:32

Yeah I bought some recently, it's just rediculus!

I thought clomid dried you up!!!! its done the opposite so far!

Nutcracker20167 · 24/10/2016 15:42

Hi all, I posted on here a few weeks ago. I have an update. Went for my private scan and, as I suspected now for a while, Gynae told me I had PCOS. I actually felt kind of relieved in a way to find out. Next step is Clomid, which again will probably do privately since my first NHS consultation is still not for another month. I'm feeling positive, back on all my vitamins, started acupuncture last week and keeping up my active life style. Everything else came back fine (uterus etc) and Gynae told me not to worry. I also have age on my side which I should also see as a positive. I also finally spoke to my friends and family about it and made my husband do the same thing and its made us both feel so much better. If anyone has any advice or success stories for Clomid and/or Acupuncture I'd be pleased to read them.

SummerHopin · 24/10/2016 16:08

Hi Nutcracker, pleased to hear you've had a bit of a breakthrough.

How did you go about getting your private scan? Did you get a referral or just go straight to a clinic? I've hit a wall with my GP and thinking of going private just to get that diagnosis.

Thanks x
