Yay Boggle!! it definitely looks like a BFP, how are you going to tell your DH? FX for you!

I finally got my very own BFP over the weekend, it was the most perfect birthday present.

I'm feeling very nervous it won't stick and I'm still crampy, I've reached 42 days now which is how long AF has waited to show up before. DH just wants to tell everyone and I'm here worrying.

YouBoggleMyMind · 28/09/2016 10:45

Congrats modest, lovely news.
I am in freak out mode, AF due tomorrow and I'm still a bit crampy. Scared that it's all going to go down the drain in the next few days.

I sent DH photos of the test I took this morning. We are both being very cautious xxx

Feeling so crampy now and have started spotting. AF is going to come isn't it Sad

Elly1685 · 28/09/2016 17:26

Oh no boggle - I hope not. Chin up xx

EllaMenoPea · 28/09/2016 17:49

Cramping is totally normal boggle as is a bit of spotting.

You could always go and ask for your hormone levels to be checked?

I have everything crossed for you that this is going to work out.

YouBoggleMyMind · 28/09/2016 17:57

DH says the two tests have very obvious lines.

Still scared witless but I guess I'll have to just wait it out and hope for the best.

Today 20:36 Millykb

Hi girls
Can anyone give me success stories with provera and PCOS to induce a period? I haven't had a period for 3 months and today I got prescribed provera but only 5mg for 5 days. Has anyone else had this and been successful at getting a period and also had a good cycle after this induction of a period? I need hope girls 😥 I came off BCP in June and since then only had 1 bleed xx

YouBoggleMyMind · 28/09/2016 21:06

I don't remember the dose but I took provera for 7 days and had a bleed 7 days later.
You may find you don't need more than the 5 days worth. If you need more after you've gone a few days without any signs, talk to your Dr again. Good luck xxx

Is provera meant to just induce 1 bleed or is it hoped that it kick starts regular bleeds?

How are you doing tonight boggle? Xx

YouBoggleMyMind · 28/09/2016 21:14

I have only used provera to induce a bleed in order to start clomid. When the clomid grew me some follies, AF came on her own cos the hormones were corrected.

I'm ok, less crampy at the minute and spotting is still brown and nothing to write home about. Will test again tomorrow morning and Friday and Saturday and if still good, I'll get a digital on Sunday. Sunday seems far at the minute... xxx

It's meant to kick start one period I think (or hope)

Xx

Millykb · 28/09/2016 21:19

Ah boggle only just seen now that you may be pregnant :) if it's brown blood try not to worry, as I had that with my first pregnancy and it was just old blood. Xx

YouBoggleMyMind · 28/09/2016 21:25

Thanks Milly, trying not to panic. It's so hard.

Yes, provera gives 1 bleed. Xxx

This mornings test line is really faint: fainter than yesterday's. I'm rapidly losing hope. Spotting is still there.

boggle will your clinic do your hormone levels?

YouBoggleMyMind · 29/09/2016 07:56

Dunno. It's an hours journey for me and they don't even know that I've had any positive tests. I guess I should really accept that it hasn't worked.

Oh god I just cried at work in front of the accounts lady. She asked me to do something and was quite short about it and I just couldn't keep it together. SadSadSadSad

Oh Boggle

Everyone has bad days and you're under a lot of stress have Brew Cake & Flowers and take care of yourself.

RobberBride · 29/09/2016 15:20

Boggle do not give up! Some of my tests were lighter than others, I remember 15dpo was lighter than 14dpo, then 16dpo was better again. My clinic would only accept a positive 20ui pregnancy test on 17dpo as genuinely positive. You're not out til AF arrives!

RobberBride · 29/09/2016 15:22

Are you near a Poundland? Their 3 for £1 tests are 20iu. I think Clearblue digis are 25iu.

YouBoggleMyMind · 29/09/2016 15:24

I'm not near a Poundland robber but I'm going to test again when I get home. Still spotting and no AF. I did wee in the night so perhaps that's why it's lighter.

How are you doing robber? Xxx
