Agree with the above posters. Levels should double every 48 hours and yours have clearly done that since Friday.

I think your GP and the hospital are calculating from your LMP and assuming low levels but it's more than reasonable to assume that you ovulated late this cycle by the progression of those^ pg tests so with than in mind your levels are fine!

Gardencentregroupie · 26/07/2016 10:18

I thought the test where the level was 48 was on Friday 15th, the Friday after the positive test?

Just come across this thread and have my fingers crossed for you. Your GP seems very pessimistic and I hope she is wrong. Good luck

I read it as Friday 22nd, but looking back it does seem as though it was Friday 15th. So there was 12 days between the most recent bloods OP?

ayeokthen · 26/07/2016 10:43

What a horrible time you've had, I'm so sorry your GP has been so unsupportive. No advice here, just didn't want to read and run. Hope everything goes well for you OP Flowers

Hi sorry guys rushing to get ready and get into work. Yes the levels were 42 on the 15th and I was retested yesterday and levels are at 300 and something. If going my the 1st day of my last period which was 9th June it's 6 weeks. But technically i would have conceived 2 weeks later than that so only accurately 4 weeks pregnant. I just don't know what to think.

My dr is actually very supportive I think she just doesn't want to feed my false hope and for me to be devastated later on xx

Thank you all for your replies and support its so appreciated by me and lovely to read and get people's opinions xxx

An update for you ladies.....no need to re test HCG levels on Monday as I started to miscarry last night and on going today. Am in a lot of pain and feeling sorry for myself as I did sneakily have a little bit of hope that he dr was wrong and this pregnancy was going to last.

Oh well......back to trying for me when I feel stronger. Thanks for all the support the last few weeks xxx

Am genuinely shocked to hear this Bean. I am very sorry Flowers

The ttc after mc group here saved me during my mc etc, and I've made a wonderful group of friends via the thread who all went onto have rainbow babes at the same time as me.

Wishing you a smooth recovery, both physically and emotionally (as can be) and all the luck for future.
