Hi everyone here is the August bus carrying on from the one I was on previous month with u ladies.
Fx this is a lucky bus!
Had my implant out yesterday and gp said I should be good to go within a week.

Not too sure how to track so hoping af arrives to kick things off :-)

Sorry to hear lousy. I didn't even bother testing today. My DD woke me up at 5.30 and then I was bursting for a wee so just went. It's removed that urge from testing today. Think I'll try and hold off tomorrow and test Saturday.

Thanks all. I'm using those cheapie internet tests so if I were to start poas ridiculously early then at least its only costing me 20p a go. Those with willpower - I salute you.

Cd28 little red spotting. Lost all hope now. Feel utterly sick :(

Cd20 here probably about 5/6dpo and I woke up with really sore boobs not because I've been prodding them ovia says earliest I can test is 25th. The earliest af could be due is 26th if I was on a 27 day cycle unless I've counted wrong. My average is 27-30 day cycle but my last was 33

Hi Purple, I'm 5/6 dpo and cd20 too, so looks like we're cycle buddies, although mine are usually 26 days so due on this time next week. Sorry Niks xx

Thank you ladies. I've done some reading up on spotting before a period when ttc. Spotting is a result of a change in hormones and apparently 3 in 4 pregnancies experience it. Who knew!
I'm still feeling very nauseous, lots of twinges in my boobs and they are very tender and heavy. Might still be in with a chance of a BFP. Im going to try and not test at all now though because seeing those negatives just upset me. Af is due Tuesday at the latest so if it's not arrived by the Wednesday then I'll test! Unless my symptoms change in the meantime I'll take each day as it comes and keep everything crossed.

They say it's not over til af is present well and truly niks. So shall keep everything crossed :) my first car died so hubby was nice and got me a nice shiny new one I'm trying really hard not to think about poas as I know it's too early. Im hoping the tender boobs is a good sign but don't want to get my hopes up

Niks - yeah purple is right, pg and AF symptoms are unhelpfuly similar and you can get a BFN early in your cycle when pg. So don't think your out just yet :)

Purple - ah sorry about your old car, we just paid a £700 repair cost on ours. I don't think it's even worth that anymore but we can't afford the monthly payments on a new one.

Ive been feeling a bit weird today. Kind of shattered, bloated, craving chocolate but then having a bit and feeling sick. All very odd. I was due to do a cycle race tonight but had to pull out and lie down on the sofa all night :-( I don't know for sure how many DPO I am, somewhere between 6 and 9, so no idea if this could be a symptom! Prob just got a bug or something.

I think I've given myself a UTI by sitting on my head for 10 mins. I couldn't sleep last night from this burning sensation in my bladder and the constant feeling like I needed to wee. So I got up, watched the olympics whilst drinking 5 pints of water. I do feel a little better today, I'm just going to have to keep drinking at work today.

I should DTD today according to SMEP but I'm worried I could make it worse and I'm going to Spain tomorrow.

Hi sk1pper, I'm not officially on the bus but am a lurker!

SMEP gives me cystitis during FW and I find the pregnacare vitamins make it worse. So when I have cystitis, I bite the vitamin in 2 and take it in 2 halves a good few hours apart. Otherwise the wee is bright yellow and really burns.

Not sure if this helps but I thought I'd share!

Try to get a gentle dtd in if you can - it shouldn't make it any worse.

Alibaba - that's really is an amazing tip, thank you. Will try doing that with the pregnacare. Don't normally have any trouble of this kind but my OH and I have really stepped up the game this month.

Cystitis relief sachets are usually safe to take and really help too but check with pharmacist.

Thanks girls, work has been an absolute nightmare. I've been in the loo every 15 mins :( also was unable to pop to town for lunch so haven't been able to pick anything up. Will run to the supermarket tonight see what the pharmacist has.

Not ideal timing to be honest.

It is such a pain. I drank lots of hot water, used a hot water bottle or sat in the bath (obvs not ideal for work)!

So fed up to be honest, it's just got worse and worse throughout the day. Excruciating pain now so won't be DTD tonight. I burst into tears when my OH came home because we were doing SMEP and now the whole thing is ruined. Couldn't even opk, so much blood in my urine I don't think it's worth wasting them. OH has popped out to the pharmacy to try and get me something.

So sorry to hear how uncomfortable you are skipper hope oh gets something from the pharmacy for you.

Cd29 and still holding on. Quite crampy today and sticky. Still lots of twinges in my boobs. No cf at all though. Anyone with a recent BFP, what was your cf like just before you got your BFP? My DD is 3 and I cannot remember for the life of me what my symptoms were.
