Not much to report footy! Felt a bit low and emotional today, went to buy a gift for my friends baby girl. Looking at babygros made me feel very frustrated and low that it hasn't happened yet. Usually get weepy post ovulation when the progesterone arrives Hmm

How's the mattress looking? Any sign AF will be here soon?

Kate hope you're not waiting much longer for you + OPK

Tee4me · 05/09/2016 21:39

Hey girls,

Do you usually ovulate late Kate? Hope you get some signs soon!
Hope AF arrives soon Footy so you can crack on with a new cycle.
Jem I feel the same. So many pregnancy and baby related stuff going up on Facebook recently, I just want to join in!

Yes sadly I'm feeling pretty crampy tonight. I don't feel completely doomed yet, will see how it goes tomorrow. DH has a day off so we're going to see the David Brent film, so that'll be a nice distraction. x

physicskate · 05/09/2016 21:52

Yeah Tee, and it's quite annoying!!! Normally sometime between cd 15 - 24 (cycles are irregular which also sucks). I've decided to be patient...

Busta · 05/09/2016 23:02

Hi all!

Just catching up on all posts!

Glad the DHs are a bit better Tee & Jem, I don't think they understand how much we have to hold on our shoulders.

Hoping you can start a new cycle soon Footy, it's annoying not being able to just crack on with it.

Lovely to hear all the graduates are getting on well! Smile

Hope you get a positive OPK soon Kate!!

  • we gotta get lots of BFP this cycle, there can't be many of us waiting now!

I've been absent recently because I've been fostering the cutest pup. Now I've fallen in love Blush hopefully can head in to the 2ww with him to keep my mind occupied Grin

I got my positive OPK yesterday & today & then what felt like my normal ovulation pain (it's as painful as AF sometimes - tonight called for deep heat & a hot water bottle) Hoping to confirm with a temp rise this AM.

Nothing more to report, just wishing ever lots of luck for this cycle!!

Footy1 · 06/09/2016 07:32

Good to hear from you busta! Aww little pup! Sounds cute. What type of pup?
Hope you got your rise this morning.

AF cramps started in the night! So feeling a bit more hopeful that I can crack on with it soon. DH was feeling a bit fruity this morning but I declined due to the cramps so hoping he will be hungry for it when it's needed shortly after AF goes!

The mattress was absolutely lush :) didn't want to get up! I was hot in the night, but put it down to the hormones flying around.

I have noted that since I took the progesterone last week I had these symptoms- nausea, dry mouth, creamy CM, and tiredness! So now I know that these symptoms happen anyway for me in the 2ww. Didn't get gas, sore boobs, or headaches tho...

radderss · 06/09/2016 08:17

Sorry Tee, hope you're feeling as OK as you can be xx

Parney · 06/09/2016 08:48

Oh Tee, how frustrating. DH fully on board this cycle can make all the difference!

LondonJem · 06/09/2016 09:14

Oh no Sad sorry tee Flowers take care of yourself and cry all you need to. It won't seem like 5 mins until you are back to your fertile days and it sounds like your oh will be ready and willing this month xxx

Hello busta pup sounds cute!

Glad the new mattress went well footy!

LondonJem · 06/09/2016 09:19

I've got a new theory about why I'm not getting pregnant. Lack of sleep! The cat wakes me up most nights at about 4am. I don't remember the last time I had an unbroken nights sleep Confused it usually takes me at least an hour to get back to sleep too.

If my body isn't getting enough rest then it might just not have enough spare energy to cope with conceiving and supporting new life too.

I've told DH we are putting a lock on the living room door. The cat is going to have to give up his sleeping spot at the bottom of the bed 😾

Tee4me · 06/09/2016 09:35

Ah thanks ladies. You've made me smile Smile Yes I think DH is completely committed this month. He's off booze and promises no missing important DTD dates. I've looked ahead at fertile window and ovulation should fall a week Sunday, which is great because it'll be so much easier to DTD over a weekend compared to weekdays. Will pack DS off to his Nans that Saturday.
Been in 2 minds about whether to continue acupuncture (it's draining my purse), but think I will struggle on with it this cycle and literally give it everything. Doctors booked end of the month to request tests, so if it doesn't happen (AGAIN), I'm going to feel like I need to some official medical advice.
Good luck to the rest of you...
Footy we might be cycle twins if your overnight cramps lead to AF. My cramps took hold last night, so I felt pessimistic when I woke up anyway x

Parney · 06/09/2016 09:39

Could be on to something Jem, worth sorting out. I could sleep through anything, even now, maybe that helped us. An hour is an awful long time to be awake too.
Busta the pup sounds amazing! I'm such an animal lover.
Congrats on the BOY Radders 💙 some days I wish I knew. Actually, make that most days!! Think I can wait 16 weeks now that I've gone this far without knowing though.
New mattress sounds lovely Foot, we've recently moved in to our own house after renting for so many years. The new bed was the best thing!
Hi everyone!

Parney · 06/09/2016 09:40

Great to be focused Tee! The weekend with little one at Nan's, sounds like fun 😉 lots of luck.

Tee4me · 06/09/2016 09:42

Interesting theory Jem.
Our bodies always function better after a good nights sleep. Having said that, I can't help but think about all those ladies with young children/babies who don't seem to have any problem falling with a second, third, fourth!... And there's no way they don't have unbroken sleep?

LondonJem · 06/09/2016 09:57

Good thinking tee ship DS off for a few days Wink I've heard so many times about couples being sent for tests and then conceiving right away, must be something in having that reassurance that something is being, that there is some control in this madness. My next fertile days DH is on a 4 day Joburg, he has lares said he will call in sick if he can't swap it. Think the guilt from last week speaking!

The sleep thing - yes that's true re mums conceiving a second and third time... It can't stop it happening I guess, which does make me feel a bit better. I hate the thought that it isn't happening because of something I am doing wrong. I think this is why I get so wound up and upset if we miss one planned DTD in fw!

Spa day today with DH - we've got this week off but aren't going away so though we would indulge in a nice day at a spa with a massage. I hope a little fertilised egg is making its way to my endometrium...

Tee4me · 06/09/2016 10:12

Good, sound like the DHs are starting to pull their weight! It takes 2 to tango!!
So glad you have a relaxing day lined up, but I would avoid the saunas and jacuzzis just in case a little bean is trying to settle in??
Funny Jem how we were the same CD at one point, and now we are 2 weeks apart! x

Footy1 · 06/09/2016 12:49

Sorry tee it didn't happen for you this cycleFlowers** def think u should continue Acupuncture for another month if u can, as I heard a few is more beneficial.
I'm definitely your cycle buddy tee, it's cd1Starfor me. It's just started.. Probably the only month I'm not upset as I had a feeling I hadn't ovulated. Clomid apparently can cause this when u stop it. So hey ho.. Few lessons learned from a total messed up cycle.

Clomid starts tomorrow!

Jem- spa sounds good- lucky you.

Hi Parney, wish I could sleep right now. I feel so tired and it's only half of day gone. When's your due date again- I've forgotten. Have u thought much about delivery options?

physicskate · 06/09/2016 15:10

CD 17. I know it's tmi, but I've given up temping so I had to track something - cervical position. Apparently mine is still not in cervical position!!! Come ONNNNN! At least we are keeping up with the dtd every other day. Super impressed with dh in particular.

Will be a bit frustrated if this turns into an anovulatory cycle... but I have ovulated as late as cd 24. Boring! Work keepin me kinda busy though. It might make a nice distraction.

Parney · 06/09/2016 17:00

Glad another DH is on board Kate! I know nothing about cervical position.. Hope

Parney · 06/09/2016 17:01

It leads to swimmers meeting the egg at the right time!!!!

Foot, due New Year's Day, but measuring ahead! Not that, that makes any difference but you never know!

physicskate · 06/09/2016 17:45

Sorry - just re-read my post; my cervix isn't in fertile position!! Negative opk just a bit ago. have been using pre seed.

I am super lucky dh is so on board!!!

LondonJem · 06/09/2016 18:47

Better luck for this cycle with clomid footy, I hope this is the little helping hand your ovaries need to get a good egg out.

Didn't think of that with the spa tee - to be honest though I didn't spend much time in the saunas at all as I get rosacea and the heat makes it flare up. The jacuzzi was very gentle so I hope it's all just had a relaxing effect and helped.

To be honest I've got to the point where I think it's never going to happen. I honestly can't imagine it ever happening. It feels absolutely impossible like this cruel joke someone is playing on me. We came out the spa and DH got a text from one his best mates to say his wife gave birth today. They got married a few months after us and must have started trying straight away. DH wanted to wait a year - I feel pretty resentful towards him for this right now.

Badly timed baby bomb Sad

No fear, I will bounce back...

physicskate · 06/09/2016 20:38

I hear ya Jem! Men, huh?? My DH wanted to wait till we had the house, which took a year and a half after wedding! And then he wanted us to be 'settled' in the house! It was all just excuses cause this TTC thing is scary - I mean what if you fall right away?? That would have been kinda scary....

I may just never ov... After a 30 day cycle last time, and the chemical the cycle before (with ov on cd 19)... CD 17 and no sign of anything!!! Not even a sniff!! Though I suppose the cycle before ttc was 38 days... so ov woulda been cd 24... Ugh!!!

LondonJem · 07/09/2016 11:20

Any sign Kate? Are you still OPK ing? I got my positive on day 18 last cycle so there's still plenty of time

Tee4me · 07/09/2016 14:42

Kate hope it happens for you soon!

I'm so down in the dumps today. CD2 and I'm freaked out. Thought yesterday things were looking more normal (AF flow wise), but today I'm back to experiencing unbelievable clots. I just can't believe this is still going on 6 months after MC. I wish I'd taken it more seriously earlier on, I'm thinking something has to be wrong. Either fibroids, some kind of obstruction or a hormonal imbalance which could all be contributing to my lack of success falling. Wish I'd pushed my Doctor for tests last time, I'd swept it under the carpet as all part of the MC, but further reading now looks like it's could be a sign of something else. Appointment with my fav Doctor not until 20th Sept. Don't know if I'll wait for her knowing she will give a thorough Consultation or ring for an emergency. I'm really worried now Sad
