tee it is intriguing that acupuncture differs so much! I do think he is starting with tackling my stress and anxiety first so perhaps that's what the back needles are about. We shall see.

I love this bit of my cycle. No horrible hormones messing me around, no symptom spotting, not quite ovulating yet so just more relaxed DTD.

Hi everyone, going through a bit of a rocky patch with DH so I've lost my motivation.
Have no symptoms whatsoever!
Just want AF to just hit me and then can focus on new cycle. Only one dtd around the correct ovulation time so I've already been feeling disappointed and accepted it hasn't happened. Temps all over the place & low so I'm almost certain I'm out. Roll on next week and never thought I'd say it.. But hurry up AF.

Good to hear you are ok Parney,** that's the best part of pregnancy I found was the baby moving inside. I use to play a game of tapping one side and then it would move to the other! Or in the bath- always moved around more.
Jodders, I know I hear you with having some off putting stories! Why we put ourselves through it again?, but they are a joyful present and an absolute miracle when they are in your arms. Have u lost weight? Must be awful feeling sick still.
Tee, the thermometer is going in the bin!! Nearly wet the bed in waiting for 7am to arrive before I moved. Crazy yes DH def gets me upset and stressed at every possible ovulation!! The devil is using that time to get in and attack our minds!

Jem, I'm in the sex zone all the time that's my problem because he's not. I've started to take it personally. The PlayStation 3 gets more action than me! Hoping once I'm back on clomid I have a better idea of ovulation so could plan my attack !

Hi Parney!! That is so great to hear about your little one, and you are totally right about all the research and the literature...

I guess I somehow weirdly thought that it would never take ME a bit longer.. that realisation hit me like a tonne of bricks last cycle. Hence my new 'take it totally cool... whenever it happens would be ok' kinda attitude.

Really it boils down to luck!!

foot school starts back next week. Inset on Thurs, Fri and then lessons the following Monday. I'm not ready!! I still have to finish planning for two new GCSE courses and some bits of L6!! Ahhh where has the summer gone?!? Lacking motivation to finish! (well, we never 'finish'!)

So I put my phone down and went to the toilet ... Thought I'd do a cheapy opk and hcg for the fun of it! The results are somewhat confusing as the opk is positive and the hcg looks like a faint line too. I'll try to send a pic as now I'm confused! You can only see the top of the line so I think it's false? I'll line them up together so u can see where the line should be..?????

Wow Footy! That's the start of a line? Is it a full line in real life? Just dark at the top? Do another one! Especially with the OPK.... Eeek. I got a funny feeling about you when I read you only dtd once at the right time!

Well I didn't wee in a pot so will have to wait now. That was with 12noon wee! I just missed Poas! My temp this morning was 36.48?? The half line wouldn't be that dark would it with 12 noon wee at only 9dpo?

It is very dark at the top but perhaps you ovulated earlier?! What was your dtd pattern this month? I'd test again even with new pee! See if there's a squinter then again in the morning! Especially with the opk being so positive...

I am 11 weeks today, got my date for 12 weeks scan which is a week on Wednesday! Had my booking bloods and urine which are all ok. Feeling a bit nervous that they are not going to find anything at the scan (stupid I know!) i just feel pretty normal and good now and not sick unless I'm really hungry. Don't know when I will start to feel 'pregnant'. Just hoping for good news! Hope you are all ok xx

Footy when will you try again?!

I'll do another one in a couple of hours I have a pack of 10. It's not a full line. It starts very dark then fades as it goes down. If I hold it in the light you can see a very very faint line.
I'm not convinced tbh. Slightly worried if I were as not been on my folic acid, and had two glasses of prosecco every night this week? Eeek! That's really not good is it?!

Plenty of people don't even know about folic acid until GP visit, just start now and even if BFN keep it up until you get the BFP. Same goes for the teeny bit of Prosecco you've had, don't worry! If there's a line the full way down, no matter how faint that must indicate the presence of hcg!! Keep us posted!!!!!
PS try not to worry, I've been terrified of every ultrasound for the same silly reason. Of course baby is there! I'm 22 weeks and the definite kicking from 19 weeks and my bump are the only sure pregnancy signs I've had!! I've been told to embrace it as being lucky!

CD 6. Af stopped Cd 3 - but I just had a huge amount of spotting!!!???? Sorry tmi - brown, so old blood. I used to get this with the coil! Af, then a break and then spotting (with coil spotting was a good 4/5 days) AHHHHH!!! I hate it!

Also foot maybe it's only dark at top as you didn't dip it!!

Kate that's too too weird - because I'm having the exact same thing today My period only lasts 3 days, then today on wiping I had a brown discharge - but it doesn't come on to pants, just when I wipe. What is it?? I've already been on DR. Google. Maybe it's a question for the actual doctor next week?

Hi Busta - I know what you mean about Dr Google! I hate to go to the actual gp and them just say, oh it happens! Cause then I feel like I've wasted their time!!!

2nd test at 2:15 as needed a wee but not sure long enough time (2hrs since last wee). Hcg was bfn and so was the opk. Although the opk was dark line but not as dark as the 12noon one.

Might have to wait until tomorrow for FMU?
The first test I just checked and line is still there it's not disappeared. Just looked at my chart and I had a dip and bad tummy pains at 5dpo so it's possible I guess?! In the same breath I've signed as its probably a false half line! Anyway..

yes 2 hours is not that much time. Can you hold on till tonight or if not the morning. Fingers crossed! What cycle number is this?
