Morning all,
I'm contemplating starting the morning with a big glass of prosecco. BFN this morning on FRER and ic. Don't know if yesterday was a false positive or a chemical but just waiting for AF.

Jod, didn't you have a similar thing with frer at the beginning? some positives that went negative? I'm trying to be positive but I might have a little cry later. I'm due AF today so on knicker watch. We are going out for Sunday lunch later and Dh is driving now!

Hi Nim, I'm gutted for you. Yes back in March I had THREE "positives" on FRER but followed by all negatives. I think they were indent lines opposed to a chemical PG as I didn't bleed for a week afterwards and it was a very normal bleed. I swore I would never again use FRER and I didn't I switched to CB. It's very frustrating for you I know. I was so confused and my anxiety went through the roof! When you take the test apart is the line more of a groove? That's what mine were like.

These were my "positives" which weren't positive in March.

AF technically due today as its day day 29 of my cycle. Ovulated late though so I think it'll be here Tuesday or Wednesday. If it comes earlier then that will be a shit luteal phase.

Not testing I can't take it - last month was a week of testing hell. Waiting out AF, not listening to any stupid ideas in my head that I might be pregnant. I just don't think it's going to happen anymore. Not in a dramatic way, just in a kind of resigned way.

Oh Nim how confusing! I hope just dud tests this morning and ultra diluted urine?? I don't think you can get false positives, but think the risks are indent lines as Jodders mentioned and CPs... really hope it's not either for you. I'd get an early CB if I were you.
Jem I'm with you there, I hated the cycle where I did loads of tests (just for the purpose of checking for CPs), much rather wait for AF.
I've decided to go back on baby aspirin. My periods are really (tmi coming) clotty. 6 months after my mc, I really would have expected this to have calmed down! I had one the size of a small jellyfish on Friday (sorry I know that's really disgusting to say!), but it was shocking. I'm starting to wonder if I was further along than I thought back in March. My periods have not been the same since. Think aspirin can help reduce clots, and also read up on some more really interesting research on it:

Nim, I'm so sorry that this has happened to you today. So unfair to give you this worry. I'm really hoping that tomorrow on a different test will give u a strong positive. How many dpo are you? And do u have any cramps?

Tee, I occasionally get a lot of clots. They have calmed down a lot but was quite bad as soon as I came off the pill. Interesting article though, can't see what harm aspirin will cause.

Jem- I agree too, I'm not going to test anymore until AF due. I just added up how much I've spent on pregnancy tests and it's ridiculous! I got myself in a bit of a state with the hope and excitement last month with what I thought was implantation that I can't do it anymore.

Kate- how you doing today? Boobs still hurt?

Today I'm cd14 still no ovulation according to temp. Don't know what has happened. Think I haven't ovulated after my surge - must b the clomid messed me up. First cycle without it for 2 months. Feel really disappointed as I fitted in lots of deeds (sooo much effort) and to not even get a chance this cycle. For those who temp how much rise do u get for ovulation? My temp usually goes up to 36.50 and a above. Today it was only 36.28 again same as yesterday? Had all the pains at beginning of this week with the EWCM.

tee don't worry about tmi it's what we are here for and its only biology at the end of the day do clots have any bearing on ttc? Nice comfy uterus lining?

I don't even want to think about how much I've spent this year on OPK and IC and FRERs, EPO, folic acid, seven seas conception tablets, vitamin c for DH - the list goes on!

footy I don't speak temp unforch just opks - you haven't been doing them have you? I got my positive on day 18 - still plenty of time for yours to come. Keep it up every other day if you can.

Jem I don't think heavy clots are good... Makes me think my lining is inadequate. Aspirin is good for clots and fertility it seems, so I think something that could help me on both fronts. I'll alternate cycles though so I'm not taking it for too long... One month on, one month off. It's only a junior dose so if its gentle enough for children, it can't do much harm!

Footy when I was temping, as time went on, I noticed a growing gap between positive opk and temp rise. Was never sure whether ovulation was closer to the peak test or the eventual rise in temp. I stopped taking them as gospel after a while. Best to assume neither are water tight signals, and keep going with DTD over those 2 important weeks.

I've cracked and had a gin and tonic. I'm dammed if I'm going to let ttc stop me enjoying everything I love!

Nim,*thinking of you this morning, really hope everyhing is ok and that you are alright.

Tee/Kate/Jem - I have been opk and digi opk and I had peaks and positives on cd10,11,12 when I should have. Been ovulating early on the clomid last 2 cycles. But I've had low bbt's so far so no real increase of temps. I'm still in the 36.28 range/ usually up in the 36.50 plus range after Ov. So that's why I think I haven't ovulated.

Kate/ Jem any news? Any symptoms?

Bfn on ic. Testing with an frer tomorrow. 10 dpo today. Not feeling very optimistic. Going to have to go to gp if boobs this sore are the new Pms norm. Not sure if they can or will do anything. Definitely triphasic bbt this month.

BFN on frer.trying to be positive, already my lp is a little bit longer which can only be a good thing (usually only 10 days). I've been eating loads of Brazil nuts this month (because I like them)

Thanks foot, it really helps having the support here. My Dh had been huggy, but it's good having people who are going through it with me.

Tee, I don't know why it's called junior aspirin, you can't give aspirin to kids under 12. In the article they say 75mg which is the same dose for preventing heart attacks. It is only a small dose, much less than a painkiller dose. I'm considering it, but get heartburn so might not be a good idea for me. Are you going to take it?

Foot oh yes I remember you getting the conflicting OPK readings. How frustrating, although day 14 is still early and there is plenty of time for it still to come. Do they only give you clomid for two cycles then? Then what?

Fx kate don't trust the boobs but maybe this is a sign if this is completely out of ordinary?

So sorry nim I can't imagine how crushing it must be to see a line and then none. I hope you are alright. Is there any chance these are false negatives?

I'm 12 DPO today too. Nothing really to report over here. I had a really vivid stressful dream about DH cheating on me - but my dreams usually get more intense before AF. I'm quite windy and headachy. Just feel normal really. No cramps. I've got to get bloods done when AF comes so I'm kind of planning that and thinking about when my next fertile days are.

Just checked ff and I am actually only 9dpo today! So yes, it is early and not too bummed out! Might wait until 11 dpo for an FRER... hate to waste the money!

Boobs were only a thing last cycle when I may have had the chemical... Really hoping this is not going to be a permanent feature! Going to try agnus castus next cycle if not preggers to try and make it stop!! Seriously, they woke me up this morning!

Looks like we're mostly in the later stages of our cycles! Fingers crossed and toes too ladies!

IF it does turn out to be a false negative Nim please complain to FRER as I think it's terrible that they are so expensive and that happens. I have read it happen to others too.
I hope it won't though.

Foot - I'm still not great. It's better than it was and vomiting is less. I feel tired a lot and if I have a burst of energy and do get things done I suffer for days afterwards. The medication is helping and I am to remain on it without it I dread to think what I would be like. Yes I expect it will last the whole time.

Kate - I think it sounds sooooo positive for you!

Jem - I dreamt loads at the start I think I told you lot about the dreams too! Seems it is a pregnancy sign

Parney - I have been thinking more and more about names. I like uncommon names (never met anyone with my name or my sons names) they aren't wacky names they are real names just very far down the popularity list. I think I have found THE names too!! Have you decided? Also I am going to find out the gender and my friends are throwing me a gender reveal party (I won't know the gender until the party) I'm sooooo excited about it!!!

I can't tell my names. I never tell as it's such an emotive topic and people often are rude about your choices. I'm not saying you lovelies would be lol!
I never announced with my boys until they were here and I was 100% on their names. I know a few likely turned their noses up but not to my face and that's ok with me.

Well at 20 week scan I will get the sonographer to write the gender on a piece of paper and seal in an envelope which I will give to my two friends who are organising the surprise gender party. I know the date of the party (4 days after the scan) but I won't know how they are going to reveal it to me. They have loads of ideas from Pinterest.

I have the norethisterone to take if I don't ovulate to induce AF so will need to take that. Had a few cramps today so wondering if it will try again. Jem, no i have more clomid I just missed the time slot to take it as I thought the spotting was implantation but turned out to be AF. So I missed cd2-5. Not suppose to take it later than that. I have 4 more cycles worth now! Just want to get on with it.
