So I have only 7 days to get lots of strong swimmers up there swimming before cd8. Pressure is on and only a week eek! Feels impossible since I'll be bleeding for at least 3-4 of those days.
Clomid starts tomorrow.

HI all,

I cracked and did a few OPKs and got a positive yesterday CD 16. I've been DTD every other day (12,14 and 16) and hope to tonight but I've got ovulation cramps and I'm quite sore. Not much in the way of CM this month, no EWCM just watery. Supposed to be very low key but hey ho.

Jem I think we are cycle twins, my last cycle twin was Jod so your in with a good chance!

I know I cracked and did an OPK but i feel much more comfortable about the relaxed approach Tee. I jsut did a couple when I thought I'd be ovulating (not every day like SMEP) and tried to really enjoy the dtd and not feel like a chore. Im actually looking forward to jumping on DH tonight!

Good work Nimi, I think trying to enjoy this crazy ride is the best way to go. It's so depressing to suffer the repeating disappointment each month, but really it's such a small timeframe in the whole scheme things, we have to remember to try and enjoy the process, as we won't get to experience it many times!! I know I will appreciate it even more when finally successful! xx

Sorry it was AF foot, what number cycle does this take you onto? I'm halfway through 8 now. Hope AF clears off soon so you can get back on it.

Agreed to trying to enjoy the process nim, I must say that I'm enjoying all the DTD too. We have been together 10 years this year and can be a bit lazy on that front. It's nice to have this incentive to get back on it!

Jem- cycle 5 for me. This cycle seemed to hit me hard, maybe as I expected the clomid to work and the holiday to relax me.
Gets harder doesn't it as the months roll on by. The only positive is my cycles are now shorter so I suppose it's not too long to wait before I'll b in the tww again.

Nim- I got my preseed off of amazon. You get a squirty applicator thing with it if u want to get it right up there! If not can just put on the opening of your bits! I like it, feels much more comfortable!

Cd13 - feeling lazy about dtd... Starting to get a bit closer to fertile cm... Let's hope I get a bit more enthusiastic by the weekend!! Have been doing some shred/yoga and even went out for a walk/jog. Planned a good 2 mile route which should be no bother to jog the whole way in a few weeks! Here's hoping!

Footy yes definitely gets harder the more cycles agree that some are harder than others too - when you get your hopes up the disappointment is awful. I feel a lot more ce la vie this cycle, aiming to have a chilled out / distracted TWW. Just been practising my violin for the first time this year!

Just out of curiosity is everyone on the decaf Tea? Been reading up on it and it's pumped full of chemicals. But has less caffeine than regular tea. Not sure what to drink really... Apart from prosecco!

I got the pre-seed from Amazon Nim - I tried it for practice & it feels fine. But I have been doing some reading (mostly forums so I'm not 100% sure on how factual it all is) but one woman said the proper way to use it is: apply it first (about 30mins before DTD) then just before DTD sit over the loo & ( sorry TMI) let the excess drop out then DTD.
Apparently if you use too much & just jump on DP you'll find it all just drops back out (& that did happen to us!)
So I'll try that over the next few DTD attempts.

Busta-I never tried the applicator, I just rubbed a bit on and slightly inside. It was fine for me, but yeah can imagine if u overdo it, a big blob might fall out. I just put it on 5 mins before.

Foot I drink ginger & honey tea - It's lovely! Or you could try another fruity flavour or peppermint?

I'm still not really bleeding, it's just dark brown cm -tmi but in 3hrs only a tiny bit on tampon, so don't think I can count today as cd1. I've never spotted before an AF, anyone else spot before AF? When do u count cd1?

Jem- violin?! Impressive! I tried strings when I was younger but never could do it. I was always into brass & piano. I play the trumpet & piano at home and in church.
Maybe it will be good for you to get into it again. Piano helps me relax.

Oh Jem I play the viola! I have freakishly long arms so violin is too small... but I have not been practising since my concert in June (I play in the school orchestra with the small people so they can see that we aren't all amazing at stuff; sure, I'm good at physics but not the viola).

Ooh I love the viola! I played it a bit growing up - played a lot of quartets and local orchestra - but found it too big and uncomfortable! Plus alto clef - not thanks! Beautiful instrument though

Footy I count day 1 as first day with red blood flow as I always spotted for a day or two before period.

Interesting you are spotting if you never normally do! If it comes to nothing are you going to test?!
