July Bus

Hi all, I'm starting the July Bus so that we can all cheer each other along even in the very early stages!!

I'm here following the arrival of my AF yesterday so I will now be hoping to get my BFP in July.

My stats: 32, TTC#2, Cycle 2 and CD2.

I've just realised how many number 2's there are in my stats Grin

My cycles aren't too regular following a Mirena removal and a miscarriage earlier this year but I am expecting my FW to start around the 20th of June.

Looking forward to having lots of passengers on this bus followed by lots of us getting our BFPs Grin

So this period still hasn't showed up! Four days of spotting and pre-menstrual cramping, bloating etc. Just want it to properly kick in so that I can get onto the next month. Enjoy the wine in the meantime ;-)

SoozC · 11/06/2016 22:11

I am confused and worried. I think I'm in an anovulatory cycle and now I've had spotting 6 days early. My af last cycle was two days. Anyone had this before? Totally freaky cycle for me, not sure if it signals something bad. Confused

Writerwannabe83 · 12/06/2016 08:15

Hi soozc - my period was very bizarre last cycle, didn't follow my normal pattern at all so I sympathise with the frustration of not knowing what's going on. I'm putting it down to a one-off, my body having a bit of a blip, and just waiting to see what will happen this cycle.

My DH just told me that his friend (his best man at our wedding) and his wife had a baby girl yesterday. I'm not jealous at all.....

For some reason at work yesterday the topic of conversation seemed to be whether me and DH were going to TTC for another baby?! I find it so awkward when put on the spot like that, I gave no idea what to say and just stand there like a speechless idiot.

I hate it when people jump with the 'are you trying for number two' questions. My SIL's mother recently put me on the spot by pointing at my DD and saying, 'So, are you stopping at one then?'. I know it's usually fairly innocent, and just natural curiosity for the most part when people ask, but it doesn't take much to realise it's a fraught question for some people, and just NOT ASK.

Anyone trying anything new this cycle? I bought a pack of the dual hormone clearblue OPK thingys, so am going to crack them out. I'm wavering about trying to cut out all caffeine. But, it feels like tea is all that's keeping me going sometimes, so don't know if I'll succeed. Grin

Writerwannabe83 · 12/06/2016 10:26

The new thing I'm trying is stopping breast feeding. As of this morning I'm going to wean him right down!!!

Hellooo? Can I join?

I'm 19 (shock horror), and myself and DP have decided to try after two pregnancy losses. The first was with a coil fitted, the second was with another coil fitted! Safe to say I won't be getting another coil after this possible baby! DP is a bit older than I am but none the less, I didn't see him wanting a child anytime soon.

I'm really confused this cycle because during my ovulation window, my CM was creamy and then about 3 days after I was suppose to have ovulated, it became egg white Hmm I'm still getting egg white CM now and I'm due on Friday EnvyAngry

My cycles are usually like clockwork! Not sure what's going on.

Good luck to all Flowers

babydances · 12/06/2016 11:05

I'm feeling so fed up now. 18dpo and bfn and no period and I conclude now I've had another long cycle like last month.
writer dp is seemingly more mellow after he got offered a new job for more money this week. Don't know if you remember but money was a huge weight on his mind as to why he has his "outburst" so at least that's something. He also said he quite misses DC when they were a baby and held a friend's baby a couple of days ago and said she is very sweet. So fx he seems more on board than the other day Smile

Writerwannabe83 · 12/06/2016 11:12

Hi babydances - I'm really glad your DP seems more positive now and hopefully the whole TTC stresses will be more bearable now that he's on your side again.

I had to listen to my DH again this morning making random comments to imply he's happy with just the one DC we have and so I'm back to being confused.

I'm glad he's got a "What will be will be, if it happens it happens" type attitude, and I know he would be overjoyed if I did get pregnant but I do wish he was a bit more proactive about it all. He was telling me this morning how he really fancied a bit of action and he knows I'm not on any contraception so I guess he genuinely it just happy to go with the flow.

I guess my DH's attitude is similar to what people mean when they say "We aren't trying but we aren't preventing either."

I have a thoughtJust throwing an idea out there would anyone like to create a secret private ttc group on Facebook that you can join via a link? So not on each other's fb profiles just on the group? Just as I'm conscious of loosing touch with lots of you as we get on and off of each bus.

writer dp the same. We dtd without contraception which he knows can get me pregnant I think they want to know as little as possible Flowers

Writerwannabe83 · 12/06/2016 11:28

I would be happy to join a secret FB group although I know some people aren't keen for anonymity reasons. I'm happy to go with the majority.

When DS was about 4 months old he was a terrible sleeper and there was a thread about it in the 'sleep' section of MN and it was the same women commenting on it every night so we decided to make a FB secret group and now, two years on, we still chat to each other day and it's lovely. There are 11 of us and we've seen all the babies turn into toddlers, gone through all the hard times together and now 3 of the women have had second babies Smile

Yes writer when I had DC I was on bounty from when I found out I was pregnant and we are all still friends 7 years on! We have a group on fb and we've met up and been been out together on nights out. Many have had 1-2 more children.

Eva30 · 12/06/2016 19:30

Hey all - coming over from the June bus.
babydances that's so lovely, I hope I can find a similar friendship group when/if I get BFP

Butterpuff · 12/06/2016 20:09

babydances I am on the fb group for my due date club so am not against them but it did kill our mn thread. I only joined it just before dc was born by then I knew most of the group as we had been charting for nearly 9 months. Would probably not join a ttc fb group just yet. But that's just me.

Dc had a meltdown at a party today so we had to leave early. It's too soon for the terrible 2s. Waiting for af to bigger off at the mo so ttc is a bit boring.

Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

babydances · 12/06/2016 21:26

Awww well here we go af has arrived.

Blondie0912 · 12/06/2016 21:26

babydances I'd definitely join a FB group Grin

SoozC · 12/06/2016 22:30

Ah, babydances :( Still, new cycle now, fx for you!

FF said I o'd a week later than expected but I'm dubious. I had a bit of pink spotting yesterday (apparently 2 dpo). Why are our bodies so odd?! I swear mine is playing with me!

I'd go for a fb group if there was one. Only two friends know we're ttc and I don't want to bore them with it all (especially as one has a 7-week old), and none of my friends are ttc as far as I know, so it's lovely to come on here and support others and be supported. A fb group just makes it more real I suppose :)

Laura05 · 13/06/2016 09:13

Morning ladies,

Is anyone else dreaming of sex! The past 3 nights that's what I've been dreaming Shock

Gutted when my alarm woke me this morning Grin

Foxglove88 · 13/06/2016 11:28

Agh sorry babydance...
You have a new fresh month to play with!
So I was convinced I was pregnant last month. So many symptoms it was uncanny. My period came though and its still going on day 9!!! 6 days of a medium to light period and 3 days of spotting. It's so unusual.
Could it be an early miscarriage? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance x

HairyWorm · 13/06/2016 13:53

Can I join?
AF arrived a couple of days ago. I was kinda expecting it.
I use a fertility monitor which has worked really well for me in the past and I've had 3 BFPs (2mc and 1DD). Its worked fine since TTC#2 began but for the last 2 cycles I've not had a peak reading, only high ones. To make things even more infuriating, the way the monitor works means that im using loads of sticks (keeps requesting tests until peak reading) and they seem to have doubled in price since having DD1! Grrrrr

My stats
Age: 39
TTC #2
Cycle: lost count. 6+
CD 2

I'm hoping that posting on MN may bring me a bit of luck.
I'm actually really pissed off that I'm not pregnant (I'm surrounded by pregnant people) and I'm feeling a bit better just by posting here.

New pack of test sticks has just arrived and I'm counting down to AF slinging her hook so we can get on with this month!

MrsGsnow18 · 13/06/2016 17:14

Sorry to hear that AF got you too babydances

foxglove day 9 seems very long! Towards end was it brown spotting now or proper AF flow?

Luxnuova · 14/06/2016 08:46

Hi hairyworm, I've just joined the thread also. We've been TTC#2 for what feels like forever too, so I hear you on the general pissed-offness. Hope you get a peak reading this month.

AF arrived on weekend. Onwards...

babydances · 14/06/2016 09:56

Well af was a small spot and then disappeared. Pfft I had a smudge and that was it.

Laura05 · 14/06/2016 10:35

Is there still a chance you could be pg Babydances?

babydances · 14/06/2016 11:30

Yes laura my cycles until ttc were 35 days then last month was 47 days. I carries on this month like it was a 35 day cycle and now I'm on day 41, with the tee it's spotting on day 39. So could be but don't want to get my hopes up

Laura05 · 14/06/2016 11:55

Oh fingers crossed for you then babydances!!! I personally have never had implantation bleeding or spotting but many others have so it could be what's happening!! Are you going to test again?
