I think my discharge there now had a slight pink tinge to it. Sad I bet I'll get the witch overnight. Have to try to remember the bright side of not being PG this month. I'll get to drink on holidays, due date will be closer to spring, have a lot of events approaching....

raddersmrs · 27/05/2016 22:24

Some people spot Jod. See how you go in the morning. Fingers crossed for you xx

Jodders · 27/05/2016 22:29

Thanks radders. I have my pissy cup and test sitting ready in the bathroom in case I wake early. Went to toilet again and nothing there this time. I spotted with my two pregnancies around AF time so I suppose it could still be that. Tomorrow will tell!!

Footprints1 · 27/05/2016 23:54

Jodders- Grinyour pissy cup! That's funny Smile hope it's good news for you.

Parney-good luck for scan. Was hard drinking 2 pints of water 2 hrs before scan as I nearly pee'd my pants when she pushed the scan thing on my tummy/bladder area! Glad u are doing well. X

I felt a bit sick earlier but I had noted this same time last month.. Im sure it's hormones taking a nose dive or something. I prefer the second half of cycle- /although that's when my tummy cramps kick in Confused

ps2304 · 28/05/2016 00:55

Hi

I have been watching this thread silently for a few months! Husband and I were going to start trying for first baby in the next month or two. I am 27 he is 29.

We got carried away tonight and he didn't withdraw. Just checked my cycle and it predicted ovulation today!!!
I'm in bed freaking out I might get pregnant, it's scary now it's actually happening!
What is the likelihood it would happen on a one off? I have been taking folic acid for 2 months. Wanted to lose half a stone and not be too big for bridesmaid duties in October. Apart from that the timing would be ok... Sorry for the ramble. I am just scared now it might actually happen.

Jodders · 28/05/2016 05:58

CD 28 - 14(DPO)

BFN SadSadSad no period and not pregnant. Gutted.

Footprints1 · 28/05/2016 07:34

Jodders- oh no, so sorry. But still no AF, so hang on in there as you still are not out. What is your temp? Or did u jump up to test before u did it?
There's still time, especially if you are not sure when you ovulated exactly.

PS2304- hi, and welcome. As you have probably seen its not always simple to get pregnant. We have tried dtd lots of time around ovulation and still haven't conceived so the chances are whatever they are different in everyone. Ovulation changes each month for some people so really depends. Good luck on your journey and hope you get the outcome you want this month.

Tee4me · 28/05/2016 07:37

Jodders so sorry to hear this, was looking so positive for you! Is your temperature still up?? Really sucks, I know exactly how you're feeling, keep thinking about all those positives of delaying another month. Having said that, you're not OUT out until AF arrives, there's always a chance you ovulated later than you thought or something? Chin up FlowersFlowersFlowers
ps2304 welcome! Well that was convenient timing! I think the statistic is something like 25% of women will fall pregnant if DTD is timed perfectly, so unfortunately it always feels like the odds are slightly stacked against you, although it's still a very decent chance! You could be one of the lucky ones, especially as it all happened naturally and doesn't sound like you were stressing about when you were ovulating etc. Fingers crossed!

Jodders · 28/05/2016 07:44

Temp was 36.7 again. Getting twinges of cramps again now. If I ovulated later than I thought then I guess I will be out anyway as I stopped DTD only did CD 15 and 21 after ovulation. I keep thinking of the vagina cramps I had this week too. They were Sooo strong. I really thought that was implantation. Guess I'll wait for AF to arrive and if she doesn't show in a week I will test again. Hope this won't be a big long drawn out month.

Jodders · 28/05/2016 09:02

And bang on cue Brown spotting starts!

ps2304 · 28/05/2016 09:09

Hard luck Jodders. FX for next month.

ps2304 · 28/05/2016 09:11

Can I ask you all what you do in the TWW? I am not a big drinker anyway, but we have some friends engagement drinks tomorrow night. Should I drive and not drink just in case? I also do quite high intensity fitness classes, will carry on these as normal until I get a positive test (whichever month that may be). It's just the drinking thing I'm not sure about?

Jodders · 28/05/2016 09:15

I'm relieved that my period has arrived as it means I can now plan next month and I can have a drink on holiday! Although I am a bit nervous as I'm going away for work for a night and I think it's when I will ovulate!! FML!

Jodders · 28/05/2016 09:27

I drink in TWW you can't put your life on hold like that IMO especially if it's very early in your TTC journey. I know people who don't drink a thing a have not been able to get pg and I know others who get PG on drunken nights out and continue to drink as they didn't know.
With my first I fell PG on the pill so was drinking then and out a lot, with my second we had DTD once without as condom so you might be like me and fall PG from your once off and I found out I was PG after a night out.

Personally with having two children already not having the odd glass of wine would actually cause me more stress lol!! And stress isn't good!

raddersmrs · 28/05/2016 09:39

Jodders sorry to hear AF has arrived but happy you're looking at the positives.

We deserve some luck on this thread!! Long overdue BFP.
I asked my friend yesterday who got pregnant after 4 cycles and she said she didn't do any temping or opks just dtd every 2-3 days.

I don't drink anyway so can't comment on that but I am struggling to cut out the chocolate. Still eating rubbish. Think I must be addicted!

raddersmrs · 28/05/2016 09:39

Jod you're temp is still high for AF isn't it. Maybe it is just spitting or you 100% sure it's AF?

physicskate · 28/05/2016 10:05

p2304 - I had that same huge fear and bag of nerves the first time we dtd when I knew I was close to ovulating. I think we have been so pressured to fear pregnancy until we want it that it takes us awhile to get used to it! I suspect I may ovulate in a couple days (no positive opk yet, but feeling some light cramping, maybe ov pains?), and the butterflies are back!

Really really sorry jodders!! We all thought this was going to be the one for you! Surely brown could just be spotting?? Although, when you know, you know.... Good to look at the positives though!

So not a lot happening for me yet. Still getting over cold (hacking cough is terribly romantic, isn't it?). CD15. Temp really low (35.96), but not much cm, which is surprising given how much EPO I have been guzzling!! Still faint lines on yesterday's opk, and last month I had an obvious build up, so I hope I get the same sort of warning this time! I have now broken up for half term, just need to try and stop thinking about/ doing work!! FF predicts ov early next week, but in the last three months, it has been sometime between CD 16 -27... so really it is anyone's guess!

Jodders · 28/05/2016 10:06

Well it's just started so not heavy yet but I got a BFN too Radders. I can't DTD every 2-3 days due to my hubby's work schedule. He works nights so we don't go to bed together. Plus we have two boys so afternoon delight is usually out of question. I will try to do it and obviously I will on holidays not sure by 16th I would say my fertile window will be over SadAngry

Summerblush1982 · 28/05/2016 11:26

Sorry to hear AF got yog jodders :-(
I've just come out of my fertile week. Should be expecting AF in 12 days!! Had a positive opk the other day, but didn't feel ov symptoms! Will next test on AF due day.

raddersmrs · 28/05/2016 12:39

Tee sorry I just remembered I didn't answer your question. I haven't been taking aspirin. I did a bit then just didn't take it again.

Ovia says I'm in my fertile window now.

Tee4me · 28/05/2016 16:54

I'm stopping aspirin, got 2 monstrous bruises on my knee and have a wedding tomorrow, so bare legs planned. Not a very fetching look! Feel like I've been plying my body with too many supplements over the last 6 months. Might strip it all back a bit to go with the generally more relaxed attitude.

OP posts:
Nimisha · 28/05/2016 17:26

Well, my AF seems to have stopped after two days which is shorter than usual for me. Loads of cramps though. I've been googling implantation bleeding and two days is quite long for that though. Ho hum

Sorry to hear the witch arrived Jod. Welcome p2304. I do drink in the 2ww.

Good luck summer. Who's next to test?we are well overdue a bfp.

ps2304 · 29/05/2016 07:53

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I am
Very new to this!

I play netball twice a week and do a trampoline fitness class once a week. Is it fine to carry on with these if I get pregnant? Will the trampoline class on Wednesday effect implantation from all the jumping, rolling, burpees etc etc

I feel like an idiot asking but my mind has gone into overdrive!

Footprints1 · 29/05/2016 08:18

Nim- glad AF has disappeared. How many days are you usually? Are you temping? As you would probably be able to tell if your temp is up again or starting lower for your next cycle? The body has its own agenda sometimes and we just don't have control. Very frustrating isn't it. Hope you are having a nice holiday WineSmile

Tee-bruises not good! Maybe reduce it like u said.

Summer-that really came around fast for you, have you managed to dtd much?
Are u more relaxed this month or just the same?

Ps2304- anything that is high impact can have an effect if you are pregnant as your ligaments will start softening up so can cause injury more than anything. As a PT I always would advise to avoid as your body will be preparing for pregnancy rather than also put under more pressure for training. Gentle exercise or jogging is actually ok in first 3 months and keeping fit and healthy throughout pregnancy benefits you and baby, however most people don't feel well or energised enough to do it in the first 3 months period. Swimming yoga Pilates low impact sports cycling is fine. Always tell your instructor if you are pregnant so they will tell U what you can or cannot do in that particular class. Not sure if it will effect implantation? However tiredness, high bp, and dehydration can. Maybe reduce slightly your exercise during this time. I do.
It's a tricky one, as u don't want to put your whole life on hold and I know someone who trained for marathon and found out she was pregnant the week after and Healthy baby was born.

.

Footprints1 · 29/05/2016 08:24

Also depends how much exercise you do in one day. ie an hour of netball would be fine in one day, and same for trampolining- just don't fall off Wink
But both on same day might be considered too much. As long as you don't overdo it. If you are pregnant personally I wouldn't do it but that's just my preference as wouldn't want to risk anything. Heavy fall could lead to complications. Hope this helps..
