Jodders that's a pretty visible line... probably a similar darkness to what I got the day before my positive this month, but then you are only on CD9. Hmmm, still if you could pin DH down tonight I would, to be on the safe side.
Summer good luck!! What time you POAS??!
PS. If I could lick my phone I would too!
Physics don't be too disheartened in the absence of symptoms, I didn't really feel much different in the early stages with DS... temp staying up is the best sign you could have!
Footprints couldn't agree more with your post this morning, the constant searching, watching, waiting puts your emotions in a spin, not to mention the hormones. I read today that serotonin levels drop around ovulation, so that could account for the post OD slump!

We are so overdue a BFP on this thread!! Grin

Mimi sorry to hear you feel like AF is approaching! Don't rule yourself out just yet, the twinges could be bean settling in! We are all sending you lots of baby dust!!

Tee, I'm going to give it a go tonight with an ic when I get home. Next hour or so. Then try agin with FMU tomorrow morning. The ic says can be done anytime of day so as soon as I get home!

Will let you all know :-)

SuchaJem · 09/05/2016 18:03

Not too mental yet mimi as I'm only 3DPO Halo but give me a week and I'll be nuts. I've been reading that info posted here a while ago with a guide to the TWW. It helps rein me in!

Fx summer really hoping to add you to the grads list tomorrow.

Summerblush1982 · 09/05/2016 19:05

Ladies,

Dpo13 did a preg test with an ic! The bfn came up immediately! Before I even had the chance to pull my knickers back up in fact!!!!! :-/

Back to square 1 for me!!!

Tee4me · 09/05/2016 19:12

Oh I'm sorry Summer Sad
Not one to give false hope, but you just never know, some women don't get their BFPs until after AF due, so the show's not over until she appears. Horrible to see a BFN tho... hope you're ok x

Summerblush1982 · 09/05/2016 19:19

Thanks Tee,
Yeah I'm ok. There's nothing more I can do other than wait for AF to show to confirm it!! Looking forward to hearing more success stories from here...
In just going to need to plan again for next cycle.

Seen this on daily mail... Crazy!!

raddersmrs · 09/05/2016 19:29

Evening everybody! CD17 Star 3dpo

I too am feeling low today... It must be this time in the cycle!
So tired and generally not motivated at all. I feel better now though but still pretty sleepy.

Jod looking good on the opk...get down to it and keep doing them. Some people can ovulate early so don't want to miss it.

Footprints sorry to hear you feel distant from your DH at the moment. It is difficult if you can't be honest with how you're feeling etc but some men just don't want to hear all that.

I'm lucky that my OH can cope with all the temping and sticks.. It doesn't put him off at all and is interested by it. But still, there's only so much you can talk to each other about it. It can't be the be all and end all between you otherwise it just takes over.
I thankfully have a friend at work who I speak to about it.... She is also trying ... She has one child but cannot conceive second due to under active thyroid ... She has to take medication and she doesn't even know if she's ovulating. She's doing the sticks but they never seem to get really dark. But having her there helps so much just to vent a bit.

Summer sorry to hear about the BFN but you're not out until AF shows so keep positive.

I have had so much CM this cycle... Not like before. Wondering if it's because I upped my EPO to 2000mg a day (2 tablets)

I was just saying to OH how it would be so much better if you knew a day or two after ovulation if you were pregnant or not rather than two week wait. And he said yes and you definitely knew that if you did it you would get pregnant... No questions. If only!

Mimi hope it isn't AF coming for you. Keep positive

Tee you know I said I wouldn't temp in lp... Think I am going to because I want to reflect on a whole month of temps so I can see the pattern should it not happen this month. Be good to know when it dips before AF if it gets to that

Still feeling positive for everybody xxx

raddersmrs · 09/05/2016 19:31

How can you not know?!

And how do the people just do it and become pregnant without any intention or knowing or condom "splitting" ... Yet we plan it right down basically to the millisecond and still get BFNs... Argh

Rant over x

Summerblush1982 · 09/05/2016 19:44

Yep Radders!! I hear you!! She should have joined my friggin symptom spotting club!! Here's me thinking I'm going to try and be really healthy for next cycle and then I read that!!!

Tee4me · 09/05/2016 19:55

There was a woman on This Morning the other day with a similar story. Apparently 1 woman a week in the UK gives birth without having known they were pregnant!! The woman in OBEM also annoyed me the other day, saying she preferred puppies to babies. It just seems so easy for some. I do worry that the anxiety and over-thinking is drawing the process out. Wish I could relax about it.
Radders I'm continuing to temp at the mo, as I'm yet to see a decent rise... assuming I ovulated on Saturday, but had a big drop Sunday and only a small rise above coverline today. Usually it's much more pronounced than that, so of corse I'm already stressing that my progesterone is too low, egg didn't release etc etc etc! Stop thinking brain!!!! Confused

OP posts:
Summerblush1982 · 09/05/2016 20:17

So hard to take your mind off it when that's all you want. Radders, didn't you say you should aim to Dtd at least every 10 days a month rather than in your fertile window?

SuchaJem · 09/05/2016 20:27

Here's hoping you're just a bit early and AF stays away summer

Forced myself step by reluctant step to the local outdoor pool this evening and swam in the rain! Quite happy once I'd actually got in. I've joined now and it's £40 a month for gym pool classes everything - so my main motivation is now getting my money's worth!

Jodders · 09/05/2016 20:32

So many posts I can't remember who said what Blush

I worked with s girl as a teenager who apparently didn't know she was pg, she didn't show to work one day (I was well peeved as I wanted to leave early) then her mum called to say she had had a baby! She was dieting as she thought she was getting bigger.

Summer - it might still be too early - chin up!

The temping sound stressful you guys.

Right so we DTD! Couldn't chance it so just jumped him while kids were glued to lion guard! So far this month we have DTD cd5, 7 & 9. Liking this every other day pattern. No ewcm yet still quite dry after AF so don't think I am going to ovulate soon but no Harm in doing it incase. I'm hoping I'm not going to have a silly long cycle now and be confused about what's going on. I wish there was some sort of alarm that would ring to say "ovulation will occur in t- 24 hours get your swimmers at the ready" Grin

raddersmrs · 09/05/2016 20:35

Summer yea ideally you're best to do it every other day throughout cycle to keep the swimmers in good condition.... More in the fertile window. I suppose in the latter part of the cycle it doesn't matter so much.

Summerblush1982 · 09/05/2016 20:35

Good on you Sucha!! You have the right idea! One of my friends conceived in her second month of trying. She claims to have turned her body into a temple,, she didn't drink and she was gymming! I don't do much of either apart from having a healthy ambition towards prosecco!! I think maybe I need some self control!

I just want to say, I don't speak to anyone apart from you ladies here so it's so nice to hear your encouragement and thoughts/experiences!! I hope we can all be gradutes!! Maybe we can have a graduation party in not too distant future!!!!

raddersmrs · 09/05/2016 21:26

I always tell myself I'm going to eat well and did really well today, fruit and salad then tonight I've eaten a big co op cookie and loads of Maltesers....... Was yummy though

Footprints1 · 09/05/2016 21:30

Cd38Star 11dpo

Evening ladies,

It definitely helps to be fit and healthy. I have cut back on exercise / work as I have an injury and already I feel like I've put on pounds.

Went out for dinner tonight and just picked at my food again! Felt full and bloated and couldn't stomach much. I sat there thinking this is so not like me.. Hope my body isn't trying to give me false hope. In bed early again. Tummy bit tender -not cramping but hurts to lie on it, back aching too. Thirsty.. No libido what so ever Blush

Summer- so sorry for bfn, don't give up hope yet. You still have no AF show up so it's still possible! Really want u to get BFP!! Smile

Radders- ha yes tempted to use a condom and pin a hole in it see if I tempt fate and get a BFP! Crazy.

Tee- you never know if u didn't quite ovulate, it may try again in a few days. Can I ask when your temp dropped in previous cycles for AF? Day of or before?

Jem- £40 a month is so cheap for gym with pool /classes etc..! You can keep it up when you get your BFP. Aqua aerobics is good, swimming & some gym work/ treadmill up to 8 months.

Summer- would be great to all meet up one day! With our mumsnet bubba's! Stay relaxed.. Hard i know as I feel on edge too. One minute I think this is different and then the next min I think thus is just a big nasty AF planning to visit. Not had tingling hand with my pregnancies. Although that is a possible water retention issue in some people.

Hope everyone else is ok

SuchaJem · 09/05/2016 21:30

Ooh yeah graduation party! Would be a sad lack of prosecco however BrewConfused

raddersmrs · 09/05/2016 21:36

Should dtd tonight if doing that smep but I can't be bothered at all! So tired!

Footprints1 · 09/05/2016 21:36

Physics- don't worry if u feel u haven't got many symptoms as some people don't. I don't think I got any with one of my boys until 7 weeks. Think I'm over analysing my body right now. I've not been working much recently reduced hours so I have more time to over think things. When I'm busy I don't feel many things going on. Sorry to hear situation with your mum, she probably doesn't realise she's doing it - just ignore it if u can. XxBrewCakeFlowers

Footprints1 · 09/05/2016 21:39

Mimi- how many dpo are u? X

Footprints1 · 09/05/2016 21:43

Jem- I so could down a bottle of prosecco right now! Really fancy bubbles!
My friend today talking how she mixed the strawberry pimms with prosecco and fruit! I was almost dribbling.. If I get AF then that night I'm going to have a Pimms prosecco cocktail! One for each of my new friends on hereWineConfusedSmileWink

raddersmrs · 09/05/2016 21:54

Last time I had prosecco I drank couple of bottles and was a little bit poorly ... Not touched it since.

Jod good effort dtd!

Any alarm would be good .... I don't get how something so major can be going on in our own bodies yet we have no idea. Is my egg fertilised or is it not???!

Footprints sounds promising although uncomfortable. Still only 11dpo though so there's hope.

SuchaJem · 09/05/2016 22:18

Pimms prosecco cocktail sounds amazeballs footprints Shock I hope you don't get to have it due to celebrating bfp instead - but I quite like the idea of a treat in mind to soften the blow of AF if she shows up.

radders that's not like you Wink get on it! Just kidding, I gave up after the last DTD on Saturday - 1DPO. Just lose enthusiasm / energy!
