Hmm that is weird imps maybe he feels awkward for some reason, but who can tell really. Good on you for just telling them! Has it been lovely telling all your friends?

Oh geek... Lots of love

That's good about the intrallipids trix

cartoontrickster · 25/04/2016 20:09

Yes with Mr S beedles I'm feeling a bit stressed though because it is going to be difficult sorting out transport, someone to watch N and then there is work luckily I only work 2days a week for my dad anyway. Plus Epsom (where the clinic is) isn't exactly round the corner but I'm sure it will all work out.

imps I was 18wks before dh would even tell his brother and I had to practically force him. Dh's bro and most of his friends live in Kent (where dh is from) do it was easily hidden. Some people weren't told until after my 20wk scan. Perhaps Mr I is just being cautious.

geek how stressful, the not knowing is the worst isn't it! Hope the spotting spots by morning and the next couple of days whizz past!

Weddingbelle13 · 25/04/2016 22:01

Hi all I didn't poas today I thought it would be better to wait until nearer Thursday but I'm still having the brown spotting just on wiping not red though and I had painfullish cramp for about 30 mins yesterday but been pain free the whole time so confused x

BeedlesPineNeedles · 26/04/2016 06:36

geek brooking that the spotting is just mini-geek getting nice and comfy for the next 8 months

imps thinking about it, the blokes at work whose wives have been diffed recently haven't exactly been shouting it from the rooftops! happy to talk about it once it gets a lot closer but most haven't said anything until around 20 weeks I suppose.

trix I'm sure you'll manange to sort everything out

Imps9 · 26/04/2016 06:45

Must be a man thing then. As it happens, we got some lovely messages back from people and Mr I was beaming last night.

Will you test today Belle? The waiting and not knowing is a mega-tough part of TTC.

Are you gearing up for Shag Week Purple?

Gah there's so much faff involved when you need medical help with getting/staying diffed Trix. Hope you can arrange something.

Snow forecast here today. WTAF? Confused Angry

BeedlesPineNeedles · 26/04/2016 09:12

ooh I might be able to see a hint of something there belle - I don't want to enlarge it on my work computer though! Exciting!

I've been ok up to now with MrB not wanting to tell anyone, I've struggled a bit with a few people not really understanding why we feel so cautious/anxious. I Think most people's experience is positive test=baby, and they don't really get (or haev forgotten) that we don't all feel like that.

I'm not really looking forward to it being common knowledge at work and having random people I hardly know coming to congratulate me. I'm sure I'll be fine with most people but I felt quite uncomfortable when people from other depts came by to congratulate my colleague last year. Not a chance meeting in the coffee room etc but specifically coming to see her just to say congratulations when they would never otherwise just stop by to say hello. I probably sound completely bonkers!!

keepitgoing · 26/04/2016 09:22

I think I can see sth too, but v hard on a picture. Brooking for you

beedle and imps for me it's just I don't talk that much about my private life at work so find it v awkward to tell people, I work with loads of people so the news won't just spread. I reckon that's why men tell later, it's just not relevant to work! So I've only told about 3 people, I guess it gets more weird the longer I leave it in a way. I think it'll be a while before my bump gives the game away so starting to think I need to tell more people...

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 26/04/2016 10:46

Morning!

Hello Belle I'm not sure if we've met, I think I can see something too. Fingers crossed!

Geek I am Brooking super super hard for you my lovely

And you Beedle of course. What time are your scans on Thursday?

Btw I love next baby grows, they are such good quality. They tend to be slightly bigger than other shops so last quite a while. I might get Z the egg ones so he can match the new Brooking babes!

Sorry I've been absent, we've all been ill. I'm still feeling crap. In other news Z can now stand Shock there is no stopping him now!

Imps that's lovely, MrCups was the same. At first he was desperate to tell everyone and wanted to put it on Facebook. I told him he could after the 20 week scan but as soon as we had the scan he sort of lost interest in telling people Hmm he didn't put anything on for another 3 weeks and it was only because his BIL outed us on Facebook that he bothered at all!

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 26/04/2016 10:47

As if I forgot the most important thing!

Massive congratulations Trix GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin good luck at your appointment today

Nice to see you back Loopy, I've been thinking of you x

BeedlesPineNeedles · 26/04/2016 11:32

Hi cups yes Z needs an official brooking fried egg babygrow :o and we need a photo of him in it and showing off his standing ability :o

My scan is at 13:40 on Thursday only 2 Days to go.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 26/04/2016 11:53

Geek hope the spotting and cramps have buggered off.

Beedles hope your scan goes ok and same for trix re your appointment. Belle fingers crossed for your line getting dark.

Waves to anyone else, have scan read and forgotten most of it!

As for me, cd17 and still no pant snot Imps, not even a smidgen. So I definitely won't be having a very early cd18 ovulation like last month. So I'm now clueless as to when I will ovulate, whether it will revert to my old usual of cd26-30 or whether it will be sooner.

DH is now munching 20 almonds and 5 Brazil's every day as read it can improve sperm quality. Any other tips appreciated as tired of the wrong egg meeting the wrong sperm, as keep being told my lining is fine and I've been on metformin 4 months now so the PCOS shouldn't be an issue now I don't think...

ControlGeek · 26/04/2016 12:14

I think I can see a hint of something there belle, have you got any more FRERs lined up for tomorrow?

Well done for taking matters into your own hands imps, I really think men live in a whole other world. They certainly don't have the same priorities as we do!

cups sooo lovely to see you around, hope the bugs doing the rounds have all cleared off for you now. I can't believe Z is at that stage already, where has the time gone?!

loopy it's all worth a shot, isn't it? I'm sorry I can't give any insight into your cycle, I know I tried everything going to try and shorten mine but what it really took was surgery to remove a load of crap. Not literal crap, obviously! But after the surgery I went to 28/29 days every single month, with very little pain. I can't remember if you have had endo/cyst investigations?

Only 2 days now beedle, how are you feeling?

Lots of mild cramps and weird feelings going on today, but only a small amount of spotting so feeling like I might actually make it to the scan now. I can't believe how beaten down I feel this time round. I don't think I've had a moment's enjoyment so far. Even pg symptoms aren't reassuring, as I had them with both of my previous mcs.

purplewaffle105 · 26/04/2016 17:08

Aw you guys are lovely. Hello!

Waiting at the docs right now for implant removal. I hadn't heard of shag week imps but will have to tell my OH about it! I've been reading about miraculous results post-implant removal so fingers crossed I'm fertile ASAP and a bit of weight loss wouldn't go amiss either!!

What is brooking?!

Woo hoo! So much good news on here I love it! Impa I am so chuffed Smile you are at announcement stage at last!!
Little far is dreamy and baby far has slept 11 hours ! So I feel like a new woman. Brooking like mad!
Brooking is from the phrase ' I am jolly well going to get pregnant this month and I am Brooking no argument' which was posted about 4 years ago by someone and started the Brooking/rat smacking/ positive thinking thread x

farfallarocks · 26/04/2016 21:46

Impa???? Imps

BeedlesPineNeedles · 27/04/2016 06:20

far Lovely to see you and excellent work from baby far on the sleeping

geek how are you today? What time are you being probed tomorrow? I hope its morning so you don't have to wait all day.

waffle hope the removal went ok.

loopy I had MrB on pregnacare for men, omega 3, cq10, and a couple of others that I can't remember (I'll check for you) washed down with either vit C, vit D or vit B drink. he didn't take Everything every day, just a couple of pills every day so he took each pill 2/3 times per week. Can't say if it made much difference but we clearly did better on our 4th round than Before. Oh and he gave up alcohol, but that idea might not be as easy to swallow as a few pills!

I'm feeling ok today, though I'm sure I'll be really worried tomorrow

Imps9 · 27/04/2016 06:27

Morning all

Hello Far! Lovely to see you. Yes, I can't believe we've got to 14 week (14+2 to be exact) - I don't really understand how it happened.

Loops, Mr I was on Proxeed for Men, 1000mg vitamin C and no alcohol or caffeine. I was on Proxeed for Women to help with egg health. Will never have any idea for sure whether or not it made any difference, but I think it did.

Belle where's this morning's peestick? Can't believe it's already 6.27am and you haven't posted a pic yet...

Hi all trix and belle any more pee sticks? trix how was the gp?

Hi far gosh teeny far is a good sleeper I'm hoping for one of those this time ;)

geek and beedle nearly there my loves. Geek especially I'm brooking for your tiny one

All good here, more tiny kicks which is just lovely. Time is speeding up now. We've booked a holiday to Majorca for when I'm 24/25 weeks mid June - can't wait!

Imps9 · 27/04/2016 08:38

How lovely to feel kicks Keep! I think it will be a while before anything cos I don't really know what I'm looking out for. I meant to ask - did you ask your midwife about your extra/missing heartbeats? I had quite a few funny sensations going on last night and am interested to know what it is.

Ooooh holiday lovely - especially the thought of sun and warmth. We'd had a holiday to Italy booked for October - luckily the place we're staying is letting us move it to a date next year without losing our deposit/charging any extra and we should be able to get our flights refunded if I get a letter from the MW saying that I won't be able to fly in Oct. We've booked a trip to France in early Sept instead. Hurrah!

What time's your drip today Trix?

OP posts:
keepitgoing · 27/04/2016 08:46

Funny you ask, she said it could be a sign of anaemia, but booking bloods didn't show that, then said it was most likely just a pg symptom due to extra blood, then said she'd book me another blood test. Ridiculously she couldn't take the blood then so booked a clinic end of this week, which I now can't make, gp has no blood appointment for further 2 weeks (wtaf) so I've decided to just wait till my 20 week appointment in 3 weeks. I do get odd sensations at times but think it's normal

Where in France? You'll be quite big then... Yes it's hard at the beginning to know what it is, I feel it a bit like a heartbeat down there, which it clearly isn't but with kip I thought that and wondered for weeks before it became more obvious. It's the best thing ever!
