Chapman, wow I'm so jealous of your holiday. Sounds like so much fun and I bet it's helping pass the time quicker! These last few weeks have gone sooooo slowly! Yeah I was sick off and n for about 4 weeks but it's all gone now. Only symptom left is the sore boobs (and the constipation!😳). Other than that I wouldn't know I was pregnant. Fingers crossed for our scans. What date is yours? Xxx

I've just popped out on my lunch break to boots to take advantage of the bogof on FRERs! Felt so aware of the fact that I was just around the corner from the office and in a queue full of office workers buying meal deals haha. They are burning a hole in my bag now...

Would anyone who temp charts mind giving me their opinion on mine, pic attached. Did anyone else's look like this when they came off? I've been off since March but the chart shows when I started temping from, up to D39 I was temping orally, then thought I'd try the other way as I'd heard it was more accurate. FF has put the cover line on but I'm pretty sure it isn't accurate as I haven't had AF yet.
My temp went up yesterday and I thought I might have been OV, but now it's back down again.

I'm 11dpo Sunny. Did a test yesterday morning and it only showed a tiny smidgen of a line (you really had to squint very hard) outside the time period so I didn't take it as anything. But a niggle told me to test again and 2 clear positives today. Hopefully it will all be ok - have my fingers crossed for you ladies for some good news soon!! Xx

Scarily dark OPK last night, still positive this morning but has now got ever so slightly lighter. Def had my usual pelvic/ov pains this morning. Its usually unbearably sore for a few days but the pain seems to have passed really quickly this month. I'm taking it as a good sign as I was really worried about my monthly pelvic/UTI pains around ov!

Who's next to test? Is it Claire? Any signs lovely? Xx

Purple, I find temping really difficult to do and to interpret! Did you have any ov pains or anything this month? It's so frustrating being in limbo and not knowing what's going on! xx

cookie I tested this morning (at 10dpo) and bfn. I even took the thing apart and was squinting at it like a mad woman! Lol. It could be just too early but I just don't feel like this is my month. I always thought I would know before doing a test and I don't feel any different at all... I he a few more tests so will do another one tomorrow if AF hasn't got me by then!

Going to poas with fmu tomorrow if still no AF. Have realised that the clearblue I used earlier in the week was actually only 25 sensitivity (whatever the actual measurement is)....

Aaaaaand the coy little minx has finally arrived! Which makes that cycle 36 days (by half an hour!) after previous 37 day cycle. At least it's kinda going in the right direction...! So I guess in terms of next cycle I base timings etc around another 36 day cycle?! Which I guess means I'll be testing very end of June/early July?? Seems a v long time!!

Purple, I think it's pretty hard to read that chart. Just remind me is this 1st cycle off pill? I imagine your hormones are still all over the place. I didn't temp until I was a few cycles in so I can't really shed any light, but I think I ovulated on cd88 my 1st cycle going by symptoms and when I came on. I don't think it's unusual to have annovulatory cycle the 1st one. Have you had any symptoms of ov? I think you can safely say you didn't ovulate when ff says you did (unless you are pregnant, have you checked) because a 28 day luteal phase is fairly impossible. I have to be honest, waiting it out the first cycle worked for me (I know it's frustrating) but it took me ten months to have a period the 1st time I stopped my pill, and this time was 3 and 1/2 months... I just couldn't bring myself to temp and opk all that time. So if it's stressing you out I would say stop for this cycle, dtd every few days, and once you've had an af get back on it. But obviously you have started now and if you find it helpful keep going and it should at some point become clearer on the Chart.

Marmite I felt like such a naughty school girl buying tests in the local shops... Hid them under the other items (sometimes bought un-needed other items just to have something to hide them under!!) so people didn't catch me out! X

Cookie, Sunny thankyou so much for your reply bless you, I was having such a stressful day yesterday and just been getting so stressed in general about the whole thing that your message put in all in perspective in that I just need to chill out.
Yeah first cycle off pill and I've had a few patches of ov pains. And def not pg.
I think I am going to stop charting as you say until I get AF, it's so draining isn't it checking and doing OPKs constantly.
How are you both feeling anyway? Cookie did you get any stronger lines on your OPKs?
Sunny Any more symptoms? When is your scan?

Hi all, did another test this morning (11dpo) and another bfn and then AF arrived a few hours later so I'm out this month. Despite a little pang of disappointment I'm not too upset this month because I was sort of expecting it. Plus, my worryingly short lp of 7 days last month has increased to 10 days which makes me feel a lot better. I must have nearly broken Google last month researching luteal phase defects! I was taking b complex vitamins all month and ac until ovulation so don't know if it was either of them that helped or just my body going back to more of a normal pattern.

Anyway I have treated myself to a takeaway, m&s Mississippi mud pie and some wine tonight. Onwards and upwards for next month!

Hi everyone :) just joined! Just started ttc for 1st baby age 27. Took last pill 1st may (been on it for 12 years) had bleed 6-9th and now the waiting game! Had a few cramps and some spotting so far but I'm so impatient it feels like forever already waiting to find out how long my cycle will be so I can start tracking. All very exciting! I have no idea what all these abbreviations people are using are yet on here so forgive me for not knowing the lingo to use myself haha

Yeah purple, you'll feel better on holiday too not having to worry about opks and temping. Just have lots of sexy time with dp and enjoy the break away.

Welscome jjspoon, I think I did find a page of abbreviations somewhere when I first started which was useful, il see if I can find the link... I also guessed a few and got them really wrong which could have been embarrassing! Haha.

Claire, sorry about af. Glad that lp was longer this time though, it's hard to know with the vitamins isn't it but they won't do any harm so I'd keep them up. Xx

Hi all. I've been keeping an eye on this thread but trying to be much more chilled out this cycle; was a complete stress head last one.

So last time with the dual hormone CB digital opk I had 20 days of flashing smileys and gave up! This cycle I wasn't going to bother with opk and just do bbt. This week had lots of ewcm so thought sod it I'll do an opk. 1 day of low fertility. 1 day flashing smiley and then BOOM solid smiley today!!!

Hopefully this means that if even if I don't catch the egg this month I should have a more normal cycle length as 10-14 days luteal length puts me at around a 33 day cycle max. I'm on cd 19 now and my last cycle was 44 days!

Purple I've been ttc since January and this is honestly the first time that I've actually felt like I've ov and got a peak opk. I was on the pill for 13 years so no wonder my body has to reboot! I think your chart is quite similar to how mine was the first month of temping; it's what I'm assuming they mean by "Rocky Mountains" where everything is trying to regulate. Have you tried agnus castus? This is the first month I've used it and it seems to have helped. Also everyone else; am I right in thinking that once you've confirmed OV you should stop taking it for the rest of the cycle?

Well I'm 3dpo (I think!). On my last post I'd said I was relieved that I didn't have the crippling pelvic pain associated with ovulation that I've had the previous months. Well I take that back! Yesterday I was so sore around the lower tummy & found it hard sitting up/sitting down and walking. I really don't know what this is but if I'm not successful this month then I'm definitely going to get it checked out. I had an appendicitis a few years ago and have heard that it can leave scar lesions in the ovary area. Also worried it's perhaps cysts/endometriosis (Google is frying my brain!!). Have dtd up to Friday night but wondering if I in fact ov'd Sunday?! Extreme positive OPKs on Thursday all day and fainter on Friday, blank on sat, so I assumed I ov'd Friday. I know I should have really been temping but going to be gutted if yesterday was infact my ov day (which explains the pain!). DH been away working all weekend so could only manage up to Friday Sorry for the mammoth rant! Will just need to wait and see if I've done enough!

Jjspoon - Welcome!!! You will pick up the lingo in no time give it a few weeks and you will be so used to them you will have to try not to say the abbreviations in conversation with your dp/dh haha I always say af or ewcm and I get very odd looks

Johno - Congrats on having a less frustrating ov this cycle that's a really good sign your cycles are returning to normal!

Cookie - sorry to hear your ov pains have returned lovely - you spoke too soon! I really really hope you get your bfp this cycle hun! Even if you ov'd on Sunday and you dtd Friday there should be plenty of little spermo's waiting for mrs egg so try not to worry
