Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2531973-Christmas-is-here-but-its-not-the-turkey-thats-getting-basted-with-symptoms-to-spot-and-festive-cheer-Prty-and-the-gang-are-getting-BFPS-this-year?pg=39&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

We'll see how this next cycle goes and then we'll take the plunge. I also think I am going to use OPK's this cycle, with ovulating late and AF late when I am normally ridiculously regular I think I need to keep a closer eye on it this cycle

snowy1982 · 17/05/2016 06:55

Knicker watch update, still no AF. I imagine it will be today though

glitterpoppy · 17/05/2016 07:34

Are you going to test again today snowy if she doesn't come?

Today's the day.. My appointment is this afternoon at the hospital! Can't believe it's finally here.. Feel so nervous still. Least it's steps forward though Smile

Pirsy1 · 17/05/2016 07:49

Good luck poppy. You'll be fine. Im sure they will be nice and this is the first step!

Snowy Im sure those CB digitals arent that sensitive. I think you should maybe test tomorrow on fmu if no AF. Xx

snowy1982 · 17/05/2016 08:43

Glitter good luck for today, you have to let us all know how you get on.

If by some miracle AF doesn't appear (I think she will though) I am going to TRY and hold off until Thursday, instructions on test said if result is BFN and still no AF to wait 3 days, so I will try and do that. There will be a lot of knicker checking in the meantime though

glitterpoppy · 17/05/2016 08:44

Thanks pirsy I know you're right.. I'm just a proper stresser. If that's a word?!

Lucy1308 · 17/05/2016 10:10

Also still on knicker watch!! No AF as yet, just large quantities of creamy CM (sorry not sorry TMI!!) haven't tested since Sunday so might go buy one tonight and use it in the morning... Maybe!!

Everything crossed for everyone else!!

snowy1982 · 17/05/2016 10:41

AF still MIA, no spotting, no discharge, nothing....

glitterpoppy · 17/05/2016 17:16

How you getting on snowy?

Well I'm back from my appointment, was there 2 hours! All my results looked fine on my side (putting aside the PCOS bit), DH sperm sample was abit on the low side so he's got to redo it on Thursday and then we've got to go back for another follow up on the 27th. If the SA is still low we may have issues.. I'm hoping that the first one was just a one off as I know it can change. Anyone know much about this? If it's changed we can discuss how to move forward dealing with my PCOS.. Not sure how I feel about it all now Shock

snowy1982 · 17/05/2016 17:57

Glitter AF still hasn't appeared, starting to feel very anxious now as I still think the test was right so am worried it's a sign that my cycles are getting weird. Will just have to wait and see and try not to get too obsessed with knickerwatch.

If it was only a bit on the low side the second sample should be ok so don't be worrying about it

MummyBex1985 · 17/05/2016 18:39

Gosh I can't believe how many of the long time posters are on the thread having to have fertility tests. Where is all the baby dust?! Sad

I'm in the 2WW again now. I have three holidays booked over the next quarter so I'm trying to hold off visiting the GP until September when I'll actually have time to fit in blood tests.

Got sore boobs which is usually a sign I've OVd but also a sign I'm still not sodding pregnant

glitterpoppy · 17/05/2016 18:47

I know mummybex Sad fingers crossed for you though!!

snowy I'm not sure now if they said a little on the low side or if I've just said that.. They did say if it was the same then that would be an issue. Can't help feeling like everything is against us Sad

snowy1982 · 17/05/2016 19:05

Well fingers crossed it was just a one off glitter

PrtyPsn · 17/05/2016 19:40

glitter appointment sounds positive in the whole, here's hoping the SA comes good (no pun intended!)
snowy all is not lost yet, any plans on retesting?
bex I think a lot of us are surprised we are still here :/
Doc appointment in the morning to discuss 21 day bloods and the low oestrogen from day 5...

Prty assuming AF doesn't show her face (hasn't yet but I still think she will) I am trying to hold off until Thursday, that will be 3 days between tests, and plan to use FMU

Lucy1308 · 17/05/2016 21:35

I'm not sure of your whole story glitter but it does sound like the news was mostly positive- fingers crossed the SA was just a one off!!

Im also still on knickerwatch. Still no AF!! Plan on testing tomorrow morning and not drinking a lot overnight so hopefully I will get a good result! If not I'm going to eat cake

PrtyPsn · 17/05/2016 21:52

Lets have a pee-off lucy and snowy just about to head into FW but thought I might test before docs in morning, just because had a light period and figured doc might ask when I last tested or something not just that I'm POAS for obsessed and love wasting money

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 17/05/2016 21:55

Prty might not be a bad idea if your last AF was a lot lighter than normal.

The pee-off sounds very tempting, but must try and resist until Thursday Smile

glitterpoppy · 17/05/2016 22:12

Thanks lucy I know I should be looking at it positively and I'm really trying!!

Yes might not be a bad idea prty.. Wow a pee off, this made me chuckle! Go for it ladies Grin

MummyBex1985 · 17/05/2016 22:16

Admire you guys for actually going to the GP though. I spent months looking forward to getting answers but now it's been a year I'm not convinced I want to know! Confused

Lucy1308 · 17/05/2016 23:20

I'm game for a pee off haha!! Sounds like a much more fun way to pass the time than wondering if I am or not!! I shall update in the morning!!

PrtyPsn · 18/05/2016 07:14

Pee off update - BFN for Prty to be expected really as I'm mid cycle and had AF!!
Getting incredibly worried about docs today... scared he will say something is wrong so this isn't gonna be possible or that everything's fine because I don't understand why I don't have a baby yet!!! I'm obsessing, I know :/

OP posts:
Pirsy1 · 18/05/2016 07:33

Poppy - I hope the repeat SA is ok. I have heard that SAs can be wildly different from sample to sample. At least you are in the system now ... if the repeat is not ok they will be able to make a plan for next steps.

Prty - good luck at the doctors. Try not to worry. Hopefully he'll be more helpful than the nurse you saw!

Lucy I am waiting for your update!

Snowy - I admire your resolve to wait until tomorrow before testing again. Really hoping for a BFP.

snowy1982 · 18/05/2016 07:35

KnickerWatch Day Three - AF still MIA, no spotting, no cramping, no discharge etc. Trying very hard not to get my hopes up as POAS on Monday gave a very definite BFN, but the longer AF stays away the more hopeful I get.

Sorry about BFN Prty but at least you are aware of where in the cycle you are for going to the docs. Its natural to be getting worried about the appointment, but i sincerely doubt they are going to say it isnt possible, and at least after the appointment you will be a little further along in your TTC journey

snowy1982 · 18/05/2016 07:36

Lucy any update?
