Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2531973-Christmas-is-here-but-its-not-the-turkey-thats-getting-basted-with-symptoms-to-spot-and-festive-cheer-Prty-and-the-gang-are-getting-BFPS-this-year?pg=39&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

I think you did the right thing Snowy. Wait and see tomorrow. Fingers crossed AF stays away and then it will be really exciting to test! XX

snowy1982 · 15/05/2016 19:57

Thanks Pirsy, I just don't know what has got into me this cycle, I never normally struggle this bad. It would probably have been a waste of money anyway, I am sure she will be here first thing in the morning as normal

glitterpoppy · 16/05/2016 07:42

Just been trying to catch up before work. Keeping my fingers crossed for you snowy

It's a fresh new week and my follow up hospital appointment is tomorrow, I can't wait to finally know what's going on and to discuss what to do next although I'm feeling a little nervous!!

snowy1982 · 16/05/2016 07:48

I understand the nervousness glitter I'd be exactly the same, but no matter what comes of it it is still a step in the right direction.

I have my next reflexology appointment this evening, really looking forward to it as I am definitely in need of some relaxation. Had such a bad sleepless night, up a million times to check for AF. Hasn't arrived yet, I normally get it first thing in the morning but I know that doesn't mean anything. Think it will be a long day of running to swab every time I feel the slightest twinge.

snowy1982 · 16/05/2016 07:50

And thank you ladies for helping keep me sane yesterday, it's days like that that you realise how helpful these groups really are. Flowers and Chocolate for all of you

Pirsy1 · 16/05/2016 08:32

Ahhhhh snowy - that's exciting! Yes people at work will be wondering what's the matter because you're going to be popping to the loo every 5 mins. Really really hope AF stays away!

Poppy that's great you have your appointment tomorrow - you will have a plan at least whatever they say.

I have had a letter to say we have being referred for IVF, they are waiting to hear back about NHS funding, and there is no waiting list at the moment which is really good news!

snowy1982 · 16/05/2016 08:36

Pirsy unfortunately I don't think it's exciting, I think it's just one of those cycles when things aren't as normal, I ovulated late so I think it has just thrown everything off.

That's great news about the lack of waiting list, me and my 34 week wait are super jealous right now Grin

snowy1982 · 16/05/2016 08:37

Going for another quick check before everyone arrives in

PrtyPsn · 16/05/2016 08:38

glitter make sure you keep us updated!!
pirsy that's teally good news :)

glitterpoppy · 16/05/2016 08:44

Thanks pirsy and snowy, I think the thought of tomorrow is the only thing getting me through today. I hate Monday's Confused

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you snowy and keeping an eye on your updates!!

pirsy good news about the no waiting list!!

glitterpoppy · 16/05/2016 08:45

Thanks kitten and prty Smile

snowy1982 · 16/05/2016 09:07

Knicker watch, now that's a name for the next thread Grin

snowy1982 · 16/05/2016 11:26

Knicker watch update - nothing to report

karryk · 16/05/2016 11:37

Hello ladies :)

Hope you're all well. Fingers crossed for you Snowy.

Loving the idea of knicker-watch...I've got the theme tune in my head now Grin

Just entered the 2ww. Only managed to dtd once this window, hubby was just too tired from a new work routine. It was a couple of days before the big O so here's hoping anyway!

X

snowy1982 · 16/05/2016 12:09

Once is all it takes

snowy1982 · 16/05/2016 12:38

Knicker watch update - still no sign of AF, but am having some very mild cramp like feelings. Was thinking of going out at lunch to buy a test, but might not bother now

snowy1982 · 16/05/2016 15:05

Well I couldn't resist, I tested, BFN Sad

Pirsy1 · 16/05/2016 16:04

Snowy I dont blame you for testing! I wouldnt have been able to resist either. So sorry its a BFN. I really had my hopes up for you too! Hope you're ok. Xxx

Lucy1308 · 16/05/2016 16:43

Can I join in?! Drawn to this thread as I'm currently in the same "will she turn up or won't she" situation as Snowy also with BFN (I'm refusing to count squinty lines as I'm certain I'm imagining them!!)

Only my first cycle after coming off the coil but it was all going to swimmingly what with AF returning super quickly after removal and some good dark OPKs... And now AF was due yesterday and I've spent most of the day popping to the loo to knickerwatch...

Anyway hi all!! Fingers crossed we both develop a second line soon Snowy!!

PrtyPsn · 16/05/2016 17:02

snowy you held out a lot longer than I would! Just because it's BFN now doesn't mean you're out, not til she shows!
lucy welcome to the gang :) glad AF returned quickly after removal, FXd for you X
I'm bloody loving Knicker Watch!!

snowy1982 · 16/05/2016 17:10

I was using CB digital so it was a very definite 'NOT PREGNANT'. Definitely think I am out. DH and I had a chat and have decided to give it one more cycle and then we will make a private appointment, I cannot wait until August at the earliest for the NHS.

Knicker watch is still in play until she turns up, but I have a feeling it will be very soon

Lucy keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Lucy1308 · 16/05/2016 19:50

I should probably try with a digital then at least I won't sit there squinting haha!! It's good that you have a plan though Snowy- I think that the whole uncertainty thing is what does my head in the most- all the what ifs and maybes! Even more so with the NHS (who I love dearly, but good lord are they slow sometimes!!) Fingers and toes crossed for you!

I'm glad someone is enjoying knicker watch ;) we aim to please haha!!

glitterpoppy · 16/05/2016 19:51

Sorry about your BFN snowy but like you said there is still chance!!

Welcome lucy Smile

glitterpoppy · 16/05/2016 19:53

p.s snowy I don't blame you paying for a private appointment I couldn't wait until August either! It's been bad awful waiting these 3 months to go back and discuss my results at the hospital.. I feel like I'm in limbo!
