Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2531973-Christmas-is-here-but-its-not-the-turkey-thats-getting-basted-with-symptoms-to-spot-and-festive-cheer-Prty-and-the-gang-are-getting-BFPS-this-year?pg=39&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

Think you are right Kitten DH might just get a reprieve after all, slight pains starting and noticeable EWM - last cycle AF got me off guard a day early, think maybe she is righting herself now with ovulation seeming to be a day later

TMI26 · 02/05/2016 16:59

Feeling of extreme exhaustion....this wait is forever, has anyone ever got all these symptoms together (and usually do not get them for routine AF) and NOT been pregnant?

karryk · 02/05/2016 20:08

Hope everyone's having a nice long weekend :)

Day 4 of af here...looking forward to waving her off soon!

I never got the hang of the opk sticks...always seem to get them wrong somehow! I've been using a combo of temperature charting and watching for ewm - I tend to have a clear shift in temperature usually around days 15/16.

Pirsy1 · 03/05/2016 07:40

Hi everyone! Know what you mean about breaks ... I always think a break is a good idea when Im crying about AF but by the time FW comes around I have forgotten all about that. Good news about the pains and EWM snowy - sounds like its not over yet for this month.

Kitten vivid dreams like that are nice whilst you're having them but so disappointing when you wake up; hugs for you.

I have waved off AF and waiting for FW to start. Need to ring up and rearrange my follow up at the hospital too because DH cant make the appointment we've got.

glitterpoppy · 03/05/2016 07:44

Morning all, I'm hoping today is the last day of AF so I can look forward to what the rest of this cycle brings! 2 weeks today until our results appointment. I've had a horrible cold since yesterday so haven't slept very well.. Hoping for a nice quick stress free day at work!!

Hope everyone has a good day Smile

snowy1982 · 03/05/2016 07:55

Well I am officially in the TWW again and thankfully we managed to DTD last night so hopefully the pains and EWM were right and I was still in FW. Just have to keep my fingers crossed now and hope TWW goes quickly. Distraction technique for this cycle (this is cycle 19 I think) is planning for the first stage of my summer holiday, Paris

nicnacnew · 03/05/2016 09:18

Don't know of this is right way to do this, so apologies in advance. But can lack of af symptoms i.e. sore boobs, be a pregnancy symptom? X

TMI26 · 03/05/2016 17:10

I'm such an idiot, I couldn't help myself I went out and bought a prgnancy test ....eventhough I still have six days to go....I was convinced I must be..... Anyway I tested with a BFN...feel silly now

Pirsy1 · 03/05/2016 17:31

Sorry about the BFN TMI. I think it's too early to say you're out yet though.

Nicnac I think lack of your usual AF symptoms could be a sign of pregnancy. How many DPO are you?

Fingers crossed snowy! Plus holiday planning sounds brill.

We ended up going for our follow up appointment today - got a cancellation. We are being referred for IVF, just got to see if we get funding. Mixed emotions, happy in a way that we are moving forward, but also sad that we need IVF if you know what I mean.

PrtyPsn · 03/05/2016 18:06

TMI don't feel silly, we've all been there, lovely xx still time to go yet so FXd
pirsy good news about IVF - one step closer to that BFP :)
nicnac hi! Yeah, I guess it could be, I think anything that's not udu for you can be a sumptom'

PrtyPsn · 03/05/2016 18:06

Fat fingers Blush anything that's not usual for you can be a symptom!

nicnacnew · 03/05/2016 19:02

11dpo, got a very faint positive last night so fingers crossed.

PrtyPsn · 03/05/2016 19:16

Oooo keep us updated nicnac

snowy1982 · 03/05/2016 19:36

I misread that there Prty and thought you were saying fat fingers is a symptom Grin

Pirsy I understand your feeling re IVF but as Prty says it's a step closer to BFP which is what this is all about, doesn't matter how we get there as long as we do Smile

PrtyPsn · 03/05/2016 20:27

snowy if it was then I've been pregnant since they say I was born pahaha!!

OP posts:
PrtyPsn · 03/05/2016 20:27

And there they go again! *the day I was born!!
Maybe they are fatter than usual... is it a symptom?!

Pirsy1 · 03/05/2016 20:41

Yes you're all right! It is a step closer to having our baby. Good thing is that things seem to move pretty quickly here. Husband has exams in June so hopefully will be looking at July / August. Think will try and have a bit of counselling too beforehand so that Im ok mentally going into it. Xx

snowy1982 · 03/05/2016 20:46

That is pretty quick moving Pirsy, you'll have your BFP in no time Smile

TMI26 · 03/05/2016 22:03

Pirsy, positive indeed IVF will significantly increase your chances....it is really tough to be referred nowadays so Smile have you had your blood tests etc...what did they say about your hormone levels...?

snowy1982 · 03/05/2016 22:06

So I have been trying to learn a bit more about ovulation pains, since the pains and EWM are my main tools for TTC. Have been trying to find out whether they signal that OV is about to happen, is happening or has already happened (my pains generally start mid to late afternoon and last until the next morning and I try to DTD a few hours after they start). Well it turns out there are 3 types of OV pain, pre, during and post. How on earth are you supposed to tell which pain it is and therefore when to DTD... the longer the TTC process goes on and the more I read about it I wonder how anyone actually manages to get pregnant at all

TMI26 · 03/05/2016 22:09

I've never experienced ovulation pains :/ I think the answer to your problem snowy is regular DTD during the whole period, overthinking it will stress you out and not help the situation

TMI26 · 03/05/2016 22:21

So I'm going to be true to my name....Does anyone know whether oral sex should be avoided during ovulating days...to be honest it's the only way I orgasm and we do it more often than not....I read somewhere it can slow the sperm down? Do you think this should be avoided. ?

PrtyPsn · 03/05/2016 22:31

Interesting question TMI most lubricants except your own CM tends to hinder sperm, I guess saliva works the same way? Personally, I'd avoid during FW just in case but I'm overly cautious and after over a year of TTC I won't do anything that could harm my chances... just in case

MrsKittenPie · 04/05/2016 12:32

pirsy - am glad you're referral is moving on, I think I would feel the same as you with the mixed emotions but just think you could be pregnant soon - how exciting! I've seen quite a few ladies on the other boards who have been trying for a while get pregnant with IVF so it does work well.
BFN here again today - I'm CD28 and cycles are 28-31 days usually. I'm sick of it. I just know my body is torturing me making me hope like this, it's a very cruel trick. prty cycle twin - how are you doing? Better than me I hope x

PrtyPsn · 04/05/2016 14:35

kitten no testing yet, due Monday-ish. Feeling decidedly unpregnant :(
