Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2531973-Christmas-is-here-but-its-not-the-turkey-thats-getting-basted-with-symptoms-to-spot-and-festive-cheer-Prty-and-the-gang-are-getting-BFPS-this-year?pg=39&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

Hi TMI quite a few of us here are around the year mark (some even longer) how certain are you of AFs dates?

OP posts:
TMI26 · 01/05/2016 11:34

Not very certain at all, I have a longer cycle than the average woman, it ranges from 32-39, there are times when I completely miss a month too which makes everything impossible. It has recently been more regular so I am hoping this month is the month....

TMI26 · 01/05/2016 12:01

If it's clockwork again then AF is due 8 days from now

PrtyPsn · 01/05/2016 12:27

Yeah, I range from around 31 - 36 days as a rule, most regularly occurring 33 days for a cycle, it's a nightmare playing the guessing game!
I've got about 8 days to go so I'll wait it out with you :) I'm trying not to obsess too much but not succeeding!

Pirsy1 · 01/05/2016 12:57

Congrats on the AF poppy ... seems to wrong to say that on a TTC thread but it is good news! Its all go for you with your appointment coming up too.

Did you manage to work your magic snowy? I find it is a hard balance to find between doing enough DTD at the right time and not 'over-working' my DH so that he still has some enthusiasm!

Bex sorry you're at the year mark. Does your friend know that you're trying?

TMI welcome to this thread!

Fingers crossed for everyone in the 2ww.

Hope you are all having a good bank holiday! I am supposed to be doing some work today but feeling a bit tired and fuzzy headed after a few glasses of wine last night so think Im going to lie on the sofa and watch Catfish instead.

TMI26 · 01/05/2016 13:00

I don't hold any pregnancy tests in the home....I just get too impatient and start testing willy nilly the last time I thought I may be pregnant was 5 months ago nd I tested about 3 times because I was convinced I was doing threat wrong or something.....

TMI26 · 01/05/2016 13:01

8 days prty....ill try not to buy any pregnancy tests until next weekend!

PrtyPsn · 01/05/2016 13:03

pirsy 'fess up - you crushing over Max or Nev??
TMI I can see why you don't have them in but I think I'd be worse if I didn't have any! As soon as I needed one I'd have to rush out and buy one, no matter what price! At least having a stack of ICs means even if I POAS crazy at least it isn't blowing the bank just my sanity

OP posts:
Pirsy1 · 01/05/2016 14:16

Prty me and my friend have discussed this at length ... its got to be Max. He's a bit quieter than Nev but more insightful, plus gorgeous too.

I have pregnancy tests in the house but have got good at not using them!

PrtyPsn · 01/05/2016 14:45

Oooo the Silver Fox Grin I'm rather partial to both but when I think of Nev's body hair then Max wins!

Self discipline is something I lack.... Breasts still feeling super sore ...off limits to oh

snowy1982 · 01/05/2016 16:47

Unfortunately not Pirsy but I have pencilled it in for this evening. With both of us still getting over this cold I was surprised we even managed it once in FW, this evening will make it twice. Still haven't felt my tell tale ovulation pains so think I am ok time wise anyway

TMI26 · 01/05/2016 17:19

Snowy....what do you look out for During 'ovulation'

snowy1982 · 01/05/2016 21:27

TMI, well used to use OPK, but I stopped as I was always so regular and my peak days were always day 13 & 14, those days also matched what I think are my ovulation pains (sharp pain in my abdomen sort of just inside my hip bone) that I stopped using the OPKs. So now I go by the pains and EWM. I don't know if that's the best idea or not, but as I said I am super regular, I could set a watch by my cycles, every 28 days at the same time of day without fail (well actually AF was a day early last cycle so maybe I should go back to OPK's

snowy1982 · 01/05/2016 21:28

Oh and on another note, looks like my break month is being forced on me, DH has been snoring in front of the TV for the last 3 and a half hours. Am not a happy bunny Angry

TMI26 · 01/05/2016 22:06

Oh dear...try acting sleepy and caressing always results in an arousal for me! Silly question but what is OPK.... :/

PrtyPsn · 01/05/2016 22:31

Ovulation Predictor Kit - another stick to pee on, positive result means your are ovulating in the next 24-48 hours

OP posts:
TMI26 · 01/05/2016 23:18

Ahh okay...yes I was using them early on but I found they made me anxious and the 2ww was made more difficult...now we just have regular sex around 1.5 weeks after period....if I don't get pg soon tho I think we will have to go back to using them...they just feel so clinical

TMI26 · 02/05/2016 01:12

So I am meant to be getting an X-ray done this week, is it weird that I only want to x Ray when I am on my period JIC .... I'm avoiding my doctor... have told her I just haven't got around to it because ice been busy

snowy1982 · 02/05/2016 07:40

Didn't even attempt it TMI I was so angry at him I couldn't even bring myself to try.

Typical of me though, I had seriously been considering using this month as a break month just to have some time off from all the TTC stress, but the fact that it has been enforced on me by a sleeping DH makes me so mad

MrsKittenPie · 02/05/2016 08:17

snowy - I totally get why you would be so angry. I do at dh too when he doesn't want to when it's the right time. Maybe a break for a month might help though, I know it's rubbish as it's been forced on you though.
Hi TMI - welcome Smile

MrsKittenPie · 02/05/2016 08:28

And I thought I would share the crazy - had a really real dream I got a positive test, I was so calm and the line was really clear. So I woke up and did a test -BFN - feel very silly now Blush

snowy1982 · 02/05/2016 10:15

I have dreams like that Kitten they are heartbreaking.

I have my own crazy going on today, after my posts about ovulation signs yesterday, I haven't had my pains or noticed EWM. Am sure it means nothing and maybe am just a little behind this cycle but it's got me going a little crazy about whether or not I have ovulated.

PrtyPsn · 02/05/2016 11:52

Awww kitten big hugs, lovely xx we've still got a long way to go this cycle!

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 02/05/2016 12:09

Glad it's not just me with the dreams! Thanks prty - I know - I'm just dreading the early spotting I tend to get which means I'm out so I get really anxious 7-8dpo onwards - daren't go to the loo!
snowy - how confusing for you - maybe you still have time for dtd?
