New shiny thread everyone!

I've arranged to go see an acupuncturist to see if that will help me. She comes highly recommended in my area and I thought I might give it a whirl to de-stress, make me feel as though I'm doing something but not actually having to fret about anything, POAS etc etc.

So I'm making the appointment and it'll be a few weeks until I am able to see her and in the meantime she tells me to start BB temping. NOOOOOOOO! This is NOT what I want to hear from an alternative therapist!! I told her I wouldn't do it and that if it was critical to her approach then no thanks - she backed down

Out of interest, how long as everyone else been trying for no. 2? We've been around 11 months (DS conceived first cycle).

mrsN hope the acupuncture works well for you. Would be interested to hear how you find it. I've wondered about it myself but never actually gone for it. We've been TTC since Jan 2015. One MC last month so now back to square one. We also conceived our DS quickly (MC first month trying, DS the next month before period).

We wanted to try since last July but it took 6 months of appointments to get my coil removed just before Christmas. So really only 4 months, but in my head I wanted to be over halfway through by now.
Best laid plans eh?!

Can I join please? Not sure if I joined the last thread and dropped off so I'll introduce myself again!

Been TTC for last 12 months (although this is tricky as DH works away for weeks at a time) and we have DS8. DS was conceived on first cycle and this 12 months has been frustrating - I'm not very patient!! Cycles were anything between 25-34 days after implant removed last April but settled at around 28 days. I'm now day 32, no sign of AF and a negative test yesterday! My body is definitely playing tricks on me!!

ABC what a long cycle! I just had a week with me in-laws. It wasn't as bad as I thought lol.
I'm with you. Thought I'd be pregnant by now! :(
MrsNucky this is cycle 10. Dd was a surprise. And fell pregnant first cycle with the baby I mc.

Welcome to the thread wonder It is super annoying, but glad I'm not the only one who's been trying for around a year!

FX for you kellz. Would be so nice if the test had been for nothing!!

I'm probably going to OV this weekend at some point, but we've been DTD every other day since Sunday. Suppose that's the only issue with not doing OPKs. Because you're not sure you have to cast the net a bit wider!

Welcome wonder , I was the sm as u , trying to time sex well with OH working away , it was pretty frustrating but we got there in the end ! I found the implant to b alight are but sounds like ur cycles r nice and regular now , hope u don't have to wait much longer for ur BFP ! X

Kellz - hope ur DH got on ok at his appointment , do U have to wait a while for results ? Hope AF stays away ! R u feeling any possible symptoms ? X

I had my GTT at the hospital yesterday , was hard not to eat anything but got a good munch afterwards ! Waiting for results now but not worried as I didn't have gestational diabetes with DD ( i had to get tested bcoz my sister was diagnosed with type 1 last year ) X

I've had a couple of strongish (but still negative) OPKs yesterday and just now so I really hope it's the start of ovulation! Daren't get hopes up too high though. If it is then it'll be tricky cause me and DH are becoming passing ships for a few days with work but hopefully we can manage something!

Well AF has finished already, thats 2 cycles that she has been 2 days instead of 6. and its still like blood mixed with ewcm, and no where near as heavy however the pain is horrendous that im getting for first few hours!!

How are we all?

DH got his results back, satisfactory for his age and should cause no problems in conceiving,

So on top of my dodgy and short AFs Ive been feeling really ill. Nausea, throwing up, migraines, dizzy, exhausted, cramping and pulling feelings in lower tummy, i feel like i did with Keira however all my tests are bfn so i have bit the bullet and called and arranged an appointment for me to get checked. Going to ask for bloods etc so hopefully

Hello, I'm just checking in to say 'hi' after a very long time. Sorry not to see more BFPs from the old gang, I still have my fingers crossed for everyone. We started TTC in Jan 2015 and finally managed BFP in Feb 2016, so it can happen even after a long time.
12 week scan was last week and there are still two little ones in there. We didn't get great views of twin 1 as he/she was hiding behind twin 2 but everything seems fine.

We're at the start of our 2ww now, but only did it twice and I think I ov'd 24-36 hours after the last time, so trying not to get too hopeful.

Nothing much to report here , hit the week 30 mark on Friday , not long to go now really but feels like an age !
I have been getting bad back and pelvic pain this time and definatly bigger that I was with DD , I keep getting mood blows aswell so the bad days can b quite depressing !
Just need to keep busy to pass the time but at the same time can't do much without feeling exhausted X
Plodding on as they say lol xx
