Hi

I have started my own thread with details of what is happening with me, but I was wondering if i could join in yours? We have been TTC #2 for over a year and i could do with some moral support! good luck to you all x

MrsNuckyT · 20/04/2016 17:37

Thanks for the welcome ladies.

Mimi - so sorry she got you. Such an old cow!!

Hobbes - I hear you. It is so bloody tedious and I also need the moral support...

Good luck everyone!

RosalieR · 20/04/2016 19:35

Totally agree, abc & MrsN - the questions are so irritating! It's like the endless questions about having kids when you first get married but with a more awkward answer.

Test said I have a thick endometrium so I have to have an 'invasive x ray' to find out more. Google says there's not much hope of natural conception til it's treated :-( but we'll keep trying. Doc didn't say much, just referred me on. OH has agreed to go for tests too.

Hobbes39 · 20/04/2016 20:22

MrsN - thanks for the welcome :)
And yes, the questions really get me down particularly when people say to me "you're not getting any younger you know, you better get a move on" Angry like I don't know that!

Gx91 · 21/04/2016 09:49

Welcomes Mrs n and Hobbes !
People can be very annoying when they pry into our business !
Hope u can find the X tea support on here and hopefully see some BFPs very soon X

Mimilicious013 · 22/04/2016 10:51

Welcome Hobbes. Hope u have a short journey ttc.

Hie gx how are you, dd and bump?have you booked in the hospital yet?i wonder what food u have been eating lately. Thought of u the other day when I made butternut soupSmile
People on this thread have been awfully quiet. I'm on cd 3 and only had af 1 day..

Sending hugs to everyone

LittleHeart2014 · 22/04/2016 20:09

So sorry Mimi Sad

Gx I think I'm 6 weeks so hope it's enough to see something. My OH wants to tell his parents but won't until we have a scan. I think he just needs that reassurance. And it'll hopefully make me less anxious too. Hope you're well. I'm now understanding the challenge of looking after a toddler while feeling this way but it's a small price to pay.

Good luck everyone. Some of you have been trying for so long and I genuinely hope it's your time Smile

Mimilicious013 · 23/04/2016 00:13

Thanks little
Good luck on the scan dear, but at 6weeks there might not be much activity .can you hold on for another week maybe? I know you are excited but u could end up having to repeat the scan the following week.

Anyway how are the symptoms? Grin.dh must be over the moon.

Mimilicious013 · 23/04/2016 09:17

Morning my friends

Happy Saturday everyone

jennielm · 23/04/2016 09:43

Hello #myfriends. Sorry for not posting in a while...I've been lurking though.

It's been a rollercoaster these past few weeks and yesterday in particular. As most of you know, mil had a stroke a couple of months ago, since then we've found out she has clots in her lungs that they couldn't treat due to the bleed, then she had another bleed and finally had an operation to remove tumour from her brain on Wednesday evening. That went well, tumour removed, all looking good. Yesterday morning she'd had a comfortable night so we were happy. DHs grandparents then phoned to say they'd won £100,000 in a bank savers draw - amazing. Then mil phoned DH to say that, although they had been 95% tumour was benign before op, they were now 90% it was malignant and secondary which means we have to wait until Tuesday for full biopsy results and then they have to try and find primary cancer. Sad

On top of all of that I've been offered a sideways step (with payrise Grin) at my work which will reduce stress considerably, but the reality has dawned on me this morning that if i take it...i want to...i should be committed to the company for the duration (potentially 3 years) of the project as they can't replace me easily due to company system knowledge if i go on mat leave. So now I'm REALLY torn Confused AF got me today so doubly sad and confused.

Welcome new friends, sorry to hear your journey so far but fingers crossed that your journey ends with a bfp.

Mimi, I'm gutted for you...really though this was your month.

Those of you who have bumps...keep on growing!! Wink babydust to all.xx

LittleHeart2014 · 23/04/2016 14:07

Mimi my plan was to go at 8 weeks. Luckily they rescan in two weeks if there's not much to see but in 90% of cases they reckon they can see a heartbeat and I think that's all OH wants before telling his parents. Don't think he quite believes it x

Mimilicious013 · 24/04/2016 15:47

Ohh jenni, you surely are in a dilemma. Good luck hun, I'm sure you will make the right decision ((tough)) Grin.sorry abt af, she is such a witch.

Good luck on scan little,do keep us updated.

Happy Sunday my friends

Kellz92 · 24/04/2016 16:44

Mimi I'm CD20. I thought I ovulated on Tuesday/Wednesday but this weekend I e been getting ewcm and a bit of cramping god knows. Trying not to think about ttc as much. Was out on my bike on Thursday and went to a park run yesterday.

Hope everyone is well. How are you all getting on X

Mimilicious013 · 24/04/2016 17:24

This ttc is a mumbo jumbo, you just never know if you are doing the right thing.
Good luck kellz, all fingers crossed for u hun. Glad you enjoyed your "you" time.

Gx91 · 25/04/2016 08:36

Morning my friends !
Hope u all had a lovely wkend ?

Jenni- that sure does sound like a manic past few days with good and bad news , hope r doing ok and don't struggle with ur decision , there's no reason u can't take the pay rise job and still TTC , good luck X
Hope ur mil recovers well and biopsy results show some good news , must b a very emotional time for ur family X
Sorry about AF , but a new fresh cycle non the less so wishing u lots of luck ! X
Mimi , how r u Hun ? A 1 day AF ... Was it def AF ? Mibi implantation , have u POAS to check ? Fx for U xx
Kellz , sounds like uv been keeping busy , exercise will b good for u X
Have u used OPKs this cycle to check for LH surge ? Hope uv caught and the cramping is just a TWW symptom ! Fx for u ! X
Little -good luck for the scan , I'm sure they will b able to see the heartbeat at 6 weeks , but at least they take u bk 2 weeks later to look Again , u will b able to spill the news soon , very exciting ! X

Hobbes , Mrs n , rosalie , how r u all doing any news or things to report ? Hope ur doing well X

Waves to our pregnant ladies ! X

I have my Gestational diabetes test up at the hospital in Thursday morning , going to b a slog bcoz I'm not allowed to eat 12 hours before then they take my blood , give me a glucose drink then leave me another couple of hours before another blood test .
Will just have to take a book to distract me from food or il b a right grump lol x

Mimilicious013 · 25/04/2016 08:53

Morning gx weekend was boring, not much activity and had a terrible headache for days. I already feel for you dear (not eating Hmm) .hope everything will be fine hun. You are in the last trimester, any decision about the birth yet?

Waves everyone

Gx91 · 25/04/2016 11:18

Shame u had a boring wkend Mimi , headaches ruin everything ! Hope ur feeling better now Smilex
Still kinda leaning towards the planned c section this time for a few reasons

  • OH works away so would be nice to have a date so he didn't miss the birth
  • can get DD oranised to stay with parents
-I'm nervous about going for VBAC incase I end up in the sm situation I was in with DD and ending up with an ECS anyway

If things wer different I would probably give it a go but at the moment I think that's the best option for us at the moment X
Never know I might go into labour before hand anyway ! Lol x

Mimilicious013 · 25/04/2016 12:33

Good points I guess, but I reckon the recovery is longer and harder. What was the reason for the ecs hun?

Gx91 · 25/04/2016 13:29

It was a 27 hour labour , DD was back to back and stuck and her heart rate kept dropping , was very painful !
The c section was painful for about a week or so afterwards but not unbearable X
Il b sitting on my backside for the first week while I have OH to run around after us so hoping it would b too hard x

Kellz92 · 25/04/2016 13:46

Hope you had a good weekend xx

Mimilicious013 · 25/04/2016 14:01

Hie kellz hope u are OK.

27 hrs, you poor thing, no wonder you don't want to take the risk.did you get an epidural at least?
You must be dreading the last minute then but if oh is there ,it won't be so bad. I used to have nightm

Gx91 · 25/04/2016 14:29

Didn't have an epidural Mimi , probably should have !! X

Anyone booking to go anywhere nice for the summer ? I wish we wer doing something this year but money's a bit tight ! X

MrsNuckyT · 25/04/2016 14:36

jennielm - you certainly have been on a rollercoaster. Re: work. I know it FEELS like a dilemma, but there is no reason why you shouldn't take the job and keep on TTC. That is definitely the case legally, but even morally I don't think there is anything wrong with that. 3 years is a long time. It's not like it's a nine month project and you're 8 weeks pregnant! Yes, it might be hard for them to replace you, but they will and you can help them do it if / when the time comes.

No news from me. I've taken the bold move of not bothering with OPKs this month, just going to to DTD for around 10 days in the middle of my cylce (covering all my usual high and peak days). Just decided the constant POASing was making me too sad.

Kellz92 · 25/04/2016 18:06

I'm as good as I can be mimi how are you?

I was 46 hrs from being induced to Keira arriving. But only put into labour ward 20 hrs before she arrive

MrsNucky that's two cycles I've not done it, still obsessed just not as stressed

I'm feeling miserable today as I'm sleepy, got a bit of cramping which isn't sore just uncomfortable and ita been blowing blizzards all day thank god it's not lying

abcdemma · 26/04/2016 00:50

Just checking in, hope everyone is ok.
Nothing new from me, on CD 51 no sign of anything happening either way.
Gx the MiL booked for us all to go to Torquay for 4 nights in July, despite me insisting we can't afford it, so a week with the ILs it is! If I'm not upduffed by then I will need a LOT of wine!
Keep those chins up ladies, or keep cooking them babies... whichever camp you're in!
