Thanks for the warm welcome.
Maple our stories do indeed sound very similar! Sorry to hear about your mc
hopefully things will start to fall into line for you soon.
Poin wowzers is right, though I used a slightly different word at the time. The thing that flagged it was an elevated prolactin level - the GP actually asked me, "you're not breastfeeding are you?" ...I was a bit
that he'd apparently missed the point of the tests entirely...
Eggs keeping the OPKs alien sounds like a good idea for now - I tend to be a bit of an over-analyser anyway, so giving me a chemistry set to play with would only exacerbate the problem! Will DTD as often as humanly possible and see what happens...
Before that though, does anyone have any experience of "preconception checkups"? Is this just an American thing, or something you should do if you have specific health issues to check over? Googling has garnered mixed reviews, some say definitely have one, some say don't bother and just deal with it once you're pregnant. Aside from the coming-off-the-pill rigmarole I am pretty normal and healthy, as is my DH, no family history of anything nasty that I know of. Just wondered if it's worth going to check on things like vaccinations before putting a bun in the oven? Don't want to be precious about it and feel like I'm wasting NHS time. Any thoughts/advice/experiences appreciated
