For everyone who is entering the madness that is Ttc after stopping the pill. Maybe to start the thread we could all post our stats, so we remember where everyone is at and don't have to check the old thread. X

Thank you for the Welcome ladies! My periods have been all over the place Yvonne 1986 but recently established that it's been the supplements that have been the cause for me! I immediately began taking fertility support pills when I came off the pill, with these i was experiencing cramps mid cycle and cycle lengths of over 50 days. The only normal (29 - 32 day) cycles I've had are those where I have not taken any supplements. It's mad, they're supposed to help!! On my last cycle I began taking 2000mg of primrose oil from the first day of my period, i'd read that it was supposed to 'Balance your hormones' and help with making things regular as well as increase the level of cm. What a mistake that was for me!! I actually believe this made me ovulate right after my period stopped, the level of cm before my period was over was unbelievable (TMI, sorry). I experienced significant breast pain throughout and my period ended up arriving on day 20!! Anyways I've now decided I wouldn't be taking anything from now on, I'm going for the good old healthy diet. I'm all for preparing the body for pregnancy but we're all different so how can we possibly have supplements where 'one fits all'. x x

BFN oh well & for me! DH has said we can go to nandos & browse for sofas to cheer me up (I'm a cheap date!)

Always worth backing it up with OPKs too Shankate as unless you've adding ovulations to the app it's just guessing based on your cycle so could be a couple of days out and miss it.. Sure with the amount of times you've DTD this month you've given yourself the best chance though

Live have you tried Angus Castus? Some of the girls here seem to have tried that and it's had a good effect? As I understand it Evening Primrose is good for PMT and stuff but never heard it used to regulate cycles? Could be wrong though.

I've not tried it Poin86 but I'm honestly giving up on all that stuff now. My hormone levels are obviously very easily impacted by whatever i put in my body. I'm on the list for IVF and they're looking at starting screening in September time. From now until then the strategy i'm going for is clean eating and regular moderate exercise. I'm hoping nature will come through for me before then. x

Ah fingers crossed for you then Live. Probably the wisest not to have any suppliments in your system in prep for IVF.xxx

It's so nice to read your stories and realise I'm not alone with all this TTC craziness.

I've been trying since summer 2014 but periods never regulated post pill. Had two 180 day cycles followed by a surprise pregnancy, followed by a miscarriage at 9 weeks.

Now fear I am back to the same position as before. Not sure I can go down the clomid route for a few months just in case I do start to ovulate naturally. So frustrating having no plan of attack!

Welcome LiveLaugh & Maple. So sorry to hear about your MC, Maple. Must be such a traumatic thing to go through hun. LiveLaugh, I hope your cycles regulate soon! I know you don't want to take supplements but I feel Agnus Castus has really helped me. It's true what you say tho, it's not the same for everyone!

So sorry to hear about your BFN Bee, def have a big bit of cake & enjoy your nandos too! Are you going to test again in a few days?

I resisted temptation to use 1 of my frers today! Bfn on an Internet cheapy tho! Was going to use the frer tomorrow morning when I'll be 12dpo but not feeling very hopefully now. Should I wait a few more days before testing or give it shot anyways? I'm so happy my luteal phase has been longer this month! It's never been longer than 9 days and has averaged only 8 days in the past xx

Thisisbloodyridiculous sorry for your BFN any sign of AF? How maybe days PO are you? FX it's just too early to test!

Live and Marple sounds line you have had such a difficult time since stopping the pill I really can't believe how much is does effect your cycle k strongly believe more advice should be given these effects when you start taking the pill as I definitely wouldn't have stayed on it for ten years.

Any signs or symptoms Cookie? FX it's still too early especially with a cheapy!

I'm now 11dpo still got lots of CM and lower back ache I'm not going to test tho until after AF is due on Thurs I've already been to check my local Superdrug sells FRER so FX I'll be rushing there on Thursday after work to pick one up!

Shankate I would also really recommend OPK as my apps are way out with when I'm actually OV

How ru Poin and Chapman anything to report?

Nothing really to report here Yvonne - quite gassy , a bit crampy, the odd boobs tingle but nothing too OTT, no visible CM, only when I wipe, needing a wee a bit but have been drinking more and am cold and find it always wee more when I'm cold!
Proper stroppy again today. OH got up at 11:30, got dressed and straight round to his parents house for football... was pretty p!ssed off and upset so sat and had a cry after he left... unfortunately that is quite a regular thing for me...have water on the brain so I wouldn't assign to anything else... I don't cope well with stresses and so cry.. if its sad i cry, if its happy i cry, even stories on the news have me welling up hahaha xx

Fair enough Shankate but maybe try an do before and after the apps predicted fertile period. I know you say it was right last month but my app said my fertile period ended 4 days after my positive OPK and after they had turned negative. I only got some to see if I was actually ovulating so they are stuffed in the bra drawer at the back and the used ones get put in the bin. You could wrap them in a panty liner package to hide them if you don't want the family seeing xx

So latest for me - I've been having some bleeding after bd (seeing gynae to check it is nothing other than hormonal after stopping the mini pill), had a mammoth period that lasted nearly 2 weeks and then started up with the Clear blue opks again this week. Flashing smiley yesterday and a solid smiley today even though my period only stopped a couple of days ago! What is going on?? Also have no ewcm so really think my body must be messed up after the pill...

Ah that could well be the case Lawyered. How long have you been off the pill? Have you tried any suppliments at all to try and regulate?xx

Bfn for me on a frer this morning. Feeling quite low but at least I've prepared myself for AF potentially arriving! CD 33 and ovia is telling me to take a test tomorrow. Might wait until weds and take another frer is no AF! Xx

I think he does have worse mood swings yeah! All ok today and yesterday afternoon. Ovia telling me my period is due today even though the app says Thursday?! Confusing much?! Also telling me to test as i've not got my period. Crampy, gassy, achy boobs, hot face, bloated, wet CM....it's a joy to be a woman!

I tested today. Not sure why, I knew deep down it would be negative. Sorry you got one too cookie. Day 35 since that first post-mc period and no symptoms of anything at all. It's all a little soul destroying.

To top it off we are now entering week 3 of DH's manflu which means even if I do randomly ovulate there will be no chance of anything happening!

I was sure whether to do a test at some point this week as its been 2 weeks since I had loads of EWCM and I've had sore boobs and slight cramping this last week!

how was everyones weekend? my birthday was yesterday cookie! i had a lovely day my dad took me out for a meal!
i went to the hospital this morning to have my boob looked at and it was just a benyn lump nothing to worry about but they said if it gets bigger to go back and have it re assessed.
so anyway i tested this morning on them cheapies and it was bfn - i really dont know whether i ovulated on the 31st or whether im meant to ovulate now but ive been checking my ewcm and there is nothing it is so dry so im just waiting in hope for this saturday as im meant to be due on then!
