Congratulations Planteer!!! that's such great news!

Cookie - I'm going to test in Sunday which will be 13dpo hoping for a surprise Valentine gift for dh but not overly hopeful. So far all I've had is some cramping on 5/6dpo which has disappeared now I thought af was on her way but maybe not for a few more days or fx not at all x

OMG huge congratulations planteer brillant I know February is our month for the BFP :) soo happy and brillant present before valentines days it mad that ur 3 weeks plus but didn't show up last week without IB gives us all hope and thinking positive :)
I should ov Thursday but on my app it say sat and my app isn't wrong as was spot on last month when AF was due but DTD the last few nights giving it a break toll DH comes home which is sat so hope I don't ov before that an miss it like last month :( FX for all testing 💕

Woohoo planteer congratulations!!! Amazing news!! So even with your long cycles you are obviously ovulating! You give us all hope!!

I finished my last pill pack a few weeks ago and had last day of withdrawal bleed on Sat but today and yesterday I've been feeling so strange really bloated, desire to eat everything & funny feelings not quite like cramps in my womb-y area. Today I had some brown discharge this morning but seems to have stopped now. Got a sort of pokey feeling in my abdomen & been exhausted all week. Is this normal?
Spoken to my best friend who thinks it might be implantation bleeding as we last DTD 11 days ago but that's surely impossible? Going a bit mad!

Congratulations planet! Have you had any bleed since stopping birth control?

So I went to the doctors yesterday as I still haven't had a bleed or anything since stopping the pill in December. He just said it's completely normal and just waiting for my cycle go back to normal. He said the birth control effectively send your ovaries to sleep so they just need to wake up lol!

Anyway he's sure everything is fine with me, but sent me for some blood tests and also an ultrasound of my ovaries just so we know everything (hopefully) is fine!

Just a waiting game now :-).

I think I may have ovulated last week as I had a load of EWCM and only symptoms now is sensitive nipples (DP isn't allowed to touch them cos it's too painful!) and slight cramping. Who knows!

Girls I'm going crazy I don't know what to do.. I posted this on another forum but what do yous think??

I had my AF on the 13th Jan and using my app i would OV at the end of Jan between the 22-28th. However i then had another AF on the 25th Jan to the 27th Jan so altered my app to show my details. It said i would then ov between the 7th-12th Feb. Anyway on the off chance i did an opk test on sunday 31st Jan and it was really positive and i had a lot of EWCM so me and DH dtd on sat 30th and mon 1st then again on thurs 4th.

My original AF due date was today and nothing has arrived and ttheres no ewcm so i took a pg test one of them hcp 10mIU ones and it was negative also decided to take a opk test cause that was a higher mIU of 20 and that had a faint second line - so i dont know wheter thats purely because im due to ov soon or its picked up the pregnancy hormone!

I really dont know what to do whether to just keep DTD and wait until the 21st Feb or keep PG testing as if i did OV on the 31st il be 10dpo.

Welcome thisisbloodridiculous I had loads of really similar symptoms the first month I stopped the pill too it might just be your body getting back to normal!?

Loulabella that's really good your GP has ordered some tests hopefully that will make you a bit less stressed, really positive signs of OV I always get really sore nipples too!

Chapman I definitely think you should do a FRER with FMU tomorrow if you can?!

I'm now 6dpo no pregnancy signs at all not even creamy CM now!? Keeping my FX tho anyway xx

Welcome Thisisbloodyridiculous (Not sure how you want that shortened ) There is a chance it could be implantation bleeding but sounds like it could be withdrawal still. The chemicals can stay in your system a while. When did you have unprotected sex last? If you're still thinking it could be that you have fallen straight away, count 14 days from the date you had sex and test? FX for you!!

Chapman - maybe give it a couple of days and do another test? Keep DTD just in case for some reason you are having another LH surge!

Lou good news the Dr seems positive and is sending you for the tests just in case!

Any ideas? We haven't actively tried this month but very gassy, bloated, tired, hot face, crampy, achy boobs on and off...very unlikely to be pregnant but hoping i'm not in for a bad period - it's been quite easy since stopping the pill bleeding and pain wise! Due on 17th.xx

yvonne what is the best FRER? i can go and get one after work! but really thinking its gonna be a bfn. I probably think that ov stick i had on the 31st was priobably a LH surge from having my AF. im in the same boat with you sometimes people say when they are pregnant they dont get any symptoms until like 4-6 weeks! fx for u x

poin 7 days til AF could be early signs of pg you are off the pill arent you? and your not using any contraception? or could be your body gearing up for AF. xx

Thanks guys my name is Bee (if you can bother remembering) - I appreciate I have a ridiculous username! I think it probably is just my body being weird coming off the pill but last time I came off (for health reasons) I started ovulating and had periods pretty much straight away! Think the implantation bleeding idea could just be wishful thinking ! I'll test on Sunday anyway just to see (14 days since DTD).

Chapman Yes, i'm off the pill but don't think we have unprotected sex around OV time but did other stuff (sorry if TMI lol)

I hope if it is gearing up for AF that I don't have this every month - it's rubbish!! Could go to sleep at my desk today but not sleeping properly as back is playing up so would say that's that issue. I dunno...don't think I'll ever understand fully what goes on in my body! Thought I was quite attuned to it but it's becoming more and more apparent I'm not!xx

Loulabelle I came off the pill in mid August and had normal withdrawal bleed, then nothing for 97 days. Thought this cycle was headed the same way and that I was on cd76 when I tested. Was not expecting a bfp!! I think everyone reacts to coming off birth control differently, but great that you've had the gp referral just in case.

Chapman assuming you did ov on the 31st I'd try and hang on until 14dpo before testing if you can.

Poin not actively trying, but didn't you have some pretty impressive opk positives? If no sign of AF by 2 weeks post opks and continuing symptoms then I reckon it's FRER time!

Worse than a baby bomb i had someone congratulate me on my pregnancy yesterday...... there are 2 of us at work with the same first name...... the difference is she is 15 weeks pregnant!

Sunny & Lou, your doctors sounds very much on the ball! I'm sure the scans will help reassure and settle you a little. It's frustrating because I (like others) just assumed things would be so straight forward when TTC.

Ooh Chapman, is your AF due today? (According to your original date?). I def think you should do a frer soon! Tomorrow or next day with fmu. So exciting! I can understand why you're so confused though Hun but stay optimistic! You had your peak on the OPKs last week so chances are you did ov I'm also still getting lines on my OPK which is very confusing!

7dpo for me today and i had some more stretchy cm today, so strange! I'm fairly certain it had a distinct yellowy tinge to it too! (Hope nobody is eating their tea right now!). I of course googled this straight away and hoping it could be a very early bfp sign! No other symptoms tho, boo! No nausea, fatigue and boobs are very much their usual self. Wish I could have an obvious, clear symptom! Xx

AF due on sunday 21st now. Feels a long way away!
I was amazed at how much nipple sensitivity and breast tenderness i must of had from oestrogen before my LH surge and ovulation. The morning after i has my cramping it all started to disappear very quickly. I find it fascinating!

Cookie, having no obvious symptoms doesnt mean you're out! I'm only just starting to feel things (little twinges, v slight but constant nausea and metal taste in the mouth). Still no cm to speak of and haven't had any for a while, and boobs are currently behaving themselves too!!

Ouch, first, I'm sorry!! What did you say?? I'd have been tempted to give them a smack! (Possibly frowned upon in an office environment...)

Ooh Planeteer that's very reassuring! I haven't had the slightest twinge or anything so hoping I'm not out yet! Definitely going to test with a frer at the weekend (tho I know this will probably be too early!). How's your pregnancy going? Are you going to tell any family/friends or are you waiting until the 12 week scan? Xx

Cookie - af arrived this morning but that's good! First af since coming off the pill and 76 day cycle so I'm counting it as a getting-back-to-normal cycle and looking forward to trying now I know I'm ovulating! 😄

Planteer congrats on your BFP, I think that is the most positive I've ever seen a pregnancy test!
