Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

 1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
 2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
 3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
 4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
 5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

kwick it doesn't sound sinister - not unusual for simple cysts and spots to flare with changes in hormones - but you must get these lumps check by a doctor who can examine you! You may need antibiotics or they might want to keep things under review so best make a GP appt.

Congrats cats!! Fantastic news!!

stumbly I did a proper belly laugh at your convo with your DH - can't wait for that convo with my own DH when the time comes!!!

Got my cape on for the first time since the witch visited this month. Feeling optimistic... Gx for all!!

stumblymonkey · 21/01/2016 12:34

Cats....amazing news! Gx for a sticky bean and a happy and healthy pregnancy! x

Feathered...Epi-No....the mind boggles

stumblymonkey · 21/01/2016 12:39

Feathered...did the fanny stretcher Epi-No work?

justtheonethen · 21/01/2016 12:51

cats that's brilliant! I'm so happy for you! Star

stumbly Grin

angelazul · 21/01/2016 13:04

Massive congratulations

FeatheredTail · 21/01/2016 13:09

Stumbly - this will be my first baby (all being well) so I don't know yet! Lots of the grads opted for getting one and there have been mixed 'results': the general upshot seems to be that, even if viroids have ended up tearing or requiring an episiotomy, the Epi-No made them realise that their fanjos could stretch pretty well which in turn gave them a good deal of confidence going into labour.

angelazul · 21/01/2016 13:10

Awh my phone is playing silly buggers Hmm

Massive congratulations cats that's fantastic news Grin

Stumbly I really did lol at that. Think I might wait until I get my bfp before I let my hubby in on those kinda secrets, that way it'll be too late for him to back out Wink

I need a massive hooyah - I iced on Sunday I think & ss already Blush

ZylaB · 21/01/2016 13:59

Congratulations cats!

Canters15 · 21/01/2016 14:06

Omg cats!!! This is amazing news!!! I'm so happy for you!

Fanny stretcher? Sweet baby Jesus is that a thing?

honeysucklejasmine · 21/01/2016 14:19

Cats huge congratulations!

Mae on grads did a baby! In record time.

What a productive day for JSers everywhere!

LondonGirl83 · 21/01/2016 14:19

hooyah angel for symptom spotting 4dpo!

fruitlovingmonkey · 21/01/2016 15:42

Congratulations cats!
Stats?

jellypi3 · 21/01/2016 16:43

stumbly my dp did the opposite and got weirdly excited at the idea of perenial massages (for me not him). However now I am roughly the size of a small elephant the appeal has gone I think. We tried once and it was weird!

I opted not to get the epi-no, fair will decide the state of my fanjo if this baby ever decides to come out!

cat hope over to the grads if/when you feel ready. We mostly talk about food..

Catscatsandmorecats · 21/01/2016 16:58

Oooh, what stats do I need to give?

jelli I will come and say hello soon, there is a chance this could be a chemical/end in early mc, so will give it a couple of days.

5hell · 21/01/2016 18:17

Yay! Congrats cats!!...we're in need of fresh fanjos on grads! :)

Kwick709 · 21/01/2016 19:56

Just saw your post cats!!! Amaze balls news!! Congratulations Star!!!!!!

Kwick709 · 21/01/2016 19:58

stumbly I love your dh conversation... at least he knows what he needs to do now!

Kwick709 · 21/01/2016 20:03

Viroids never fear I am seeing GP on tuesday - I need to ask for a thyroid blood test which they need for the IVF. Gung is still coming out and it hurts like hell.
Please explain about this fanjo machine thing....???
My mum reminds me she had me with no pain relief and just focused on breathing.... I told her I will be on the drugs!
Anyhoo I am off to research new sperm banks... I need to get some new magic potion!

ChatEnOeuf · 21/01/2016 20:39

Congrats Cats hope the spotting stays away!

Epi-no, aka fanjo stretcher, aims to reduce need for episiotomy by producing bucket fanjo pre-delivery...or something. Never went for it myself - no tear first time; epis the second time, but that's the norm for a breech. No pain relief for that isn't something I'd go in for again if I'm honest.

Just had to put menu preferences for wedding next month. Melon or pate??

OP posts:
stumblymonkey · 21/01/2016 20:43

Chat....bucket fanjo comment just made me snigger out loud.

Go for the melon...positive thinking and all that Smile

Kwick709 · 21/01/2016 20:57

I am taking this one step at a time... First step get preggers, second step be preggers, third step think about fanjo stretching
Definitely melon!
May use US bank - lots more choice than UK one I found... Also less chance of halfsiblings right?

justtheonethen · 21/01/2016 21:11

No chat, LOS so pate!

justtheonethen · 21/01/2016 21:12

Law of sod for the newbies!

Is there a Mercury high fish you can choose for main?!

jellypi3 · 21/01/2016 21:12

I'd say get melon and get DH to get pate, if your not upduffed demand he swap his pate for your melon as a consolation

justtheonethen · 21/01/2016 21:13

Jizz received. Cracked my tooth. (Not at same time.

You win some you lose some Sad
