I am really down today. I was fully expecting to ovulate on Monday or Tuesday (possibly even Wednesday) but have felt so tired for the last couple of days I haven't even used an opk despite having cm and cramps. Just tested this morning and have a really strong opk which means it was probably first positive on Wednesday evening or yesterday and that means I either already have ovulated or am ovulating now. As DH and I haven't DTD for a week I feel we have completely ruined our chances for this month and am just sat here in tears. Why does ttc have to be so emotionally difficult?!

oh fuzzy massive massive hugs hun. it sounds like you maybe ovulating now so just concentrate on DTD today and tomorrow. you never know what might happen. pls don't get upset I know this ride of TTC is so emotionally draining but you've got to keep positive. fx this is the cycle for u xxx

Fuzzy I'm feeling a bit down about it all. Came home from work and hubby said he's bought preseed to try, paid for express delivery so it's here in plenty time for peak at the end of next week. Cd7 just now. How are you! Xx

I am feeling down about it all as well Kellz. It is just such an emotional time. I have found somewhere that sells the Chinese herbs I used last time I got pregnant and I think I will go back to using pregnacare and I plan to buy Clearblue OPKs for next month. Oh, of course, I obviously intend to start DTD eod much much sooner!

I'm just feeling a bit like why am I struggling when I had a surprise baby a few years ago. Feel like I'm failing xxx

Hello everyone. So sorry to hear about your MIL Jennie, I hope things improve over the next few days.
It sounds like lots of people are feeling down at the moment, it's gruelling isn't it? I'm just hoping against hope that we all get there eventually. DTD starting in earnest again this weekend, it's got to the stage where it isn't much fun! In the meantime I'm on the aspirin and trying not to visualise our future because who knows what it holds!

thank you for thinking of me re scan hope fuzzy kellz Gx jennie which I really need at the moment.

so they couldn't see a sac or anything just a blob which they can't tell the position of? possible ectopic. they did a pregnancy test which was definitely positive. they checked my hcg levels on Friday and will do again tomorrow. if levels are too high then they will do another scan. they think it could be very early pregnancy around 4-5 weeks. still a possibility of miscarriage too. I was expecting to come away reassured but feel worse than all this time of TTC. I've just been in tears DH is being very supportive telling me not to worry it'll be ok but I feel rubbish. for now I'm continuing taking the folic acid.

It is horrible, isn't it Kellz but you aren't failing at all.

I hope we all get there too Cockles. Quite often DTD has lost being fun here. I think it is inevitable when you ttc for a long time. Hope you are having a good weekend too.

Oh Pulled. Big hugs. I had a mmc a couple of years ago and still remember the devastation but one thing I did take from it is that even sonographers who do these scans all the time really can't tell at the first scan whether or not you have miscarried or whether you implanted late and everything is absolutely fine. How many weeks should you be? I think an ectopic can be seen from really early on as I know someone who was diagnosed during a scan at 5 weeks. Glad you are having blood tests done as that is a good way to check things in between scans. Thinking of you.

fuzzy I should be around 7 weeks but they think it's only 4-5 weeks so I must have ovulated late I think. im hoping the blood tests show something positive.

TTC is real rollacoaster and then once you get ur BFP the ride continues. praying all of us get an easier time ahead xxx

Oh pulled, that's so awful for you. I know that life can be so unfair sometimes but i honestly believe that what will be, will be. I am praying for you that this is your month and that it is just later than you thought. Keep us posted.

Fuzzy, cockles and kellz i know it's hard but try to keep positive and not lose focus of what is important; your other halves, your child and you are already a family...another baby will obviously add to that immensely but don't let it rip you apart. That's what I'm having to keep reminding myself, and again, what will be, will be...but i won't lose what i have now in pursuit of it. I'm sorry, i don't mean to sound preachy, high and mighty or anything like that, i just know that it can tear you apart and besides, dtd should always be fun.
