Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2480630-So-its-John-Wayne-vs-Les-Dawson-in-The-Great-British-Pee-Off-and-Prtys-judging-get-ready-to-be-basted-lovelies?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

I feel like I need to write 'The Real Guide to Getting Pregnant' none of this whole first time and I only came off the pill 48 hours ago kinda crap - the real stuff we go through every bloody cycle so people can be really prepared!!

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 17/03/2016 21:17

I'd buy it.

Beginning to feel a tad crampy so don't think this month is my month Sad

PrtyPsn · 17/03/2016 21:20

Maybe I should become a secret blogger to track our crazy TTC, warts and all kinda account!
You never know snowy I've got my FXd for you, lovely x

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 17/03/2016 21:33

I hope your right

glitterpoppy · 18/03/2016 07:58

I also buy this book prty

Fingers crossed for you snowy you're definitely not out yet!

I'm having doubts about this cycle for me, no particular reason at the minute. Also a slight belly ache.. I've gone into the negative side 😳

PrtyPsn · 18/03/2016 08:05

glitterchin up, lovely, it's far too early to drifting into those negative thoughts. Try and relax, think how many people had no idea or thought AF was coming and were pregnant x
Any update snowy?
Looks like in need to practice my spelling and sharpen my pencil!!

Hi all, sorry I haven't been around for a while. Even after acupuncture af still arrived as normal and hit me even harder than normal.
Sorry for everyone feeling down, but you're not out til af turns up - glitter and snowy - fingers crossed for you.
prty - a blog sounds great!
To be honest I probably belong on the infertility boards now rather than conception, I think with the acupuncture not working I've run out of steam about the whole thing. On the plus side I have no intentions in poas in future so that will save me a fortune! I wasted so much money last week convinced I'd see that second line and it was all for nothing unfortunately. The acupuncturist can't see what's wrong - she thought I would be an easy case for her as there is nothing obviously wrong and has recommended fertility tests which dh doesn't want to do and we can't afford so that's it really, end of the road. I will lurk to watch you all get your bfps though - which you will xx

Pirsy1 · 18/03/2016 08:14

I want that book Prty!

No DTD last night because husband is doing his SA today. Im so happy we are moving forward! Fingers crossed for good results.

Poppy its too early to think you're out. We are pretty much cycle buddies this month I think. We need to stay positive.

Snowy I hope AF stays away.

Kitten Im sorry you're having a bad time. Some months it does just hit harder. My DH initially refused to do an SA but has now come round to it. Good luck with everything! I have also started lurking on the infertility boards.

snowy1982 · 18/03/2016 08:27

prty no update from me. Slight cramping has gone, but that doesn't mean anything, in the days before AF sometimes I have some light cramping and sometimes I don't. I'll just have to wait and see.

kitten can you not get your fertility tests on NHS? That's what I'm doing, or waiting to do anyway. Have been waiting on appointment for ages, GP sent referral letter off in December. We've had first round of blood tests and SA through GP but have to wait on appointment for further tests. Tell DH to man up and get on board. My DH was a little reluctant at first but soon got on board.

PrtyPsn · 18/03/2016 08:38

Awww kitten you will always belong with us, lovely (hugs) we are a bit of a motley crew and Prty's gang does not cancel memberships!
Could you speak to your doc about additional testing? I'm sure there is more they can do x

OP posts:
PrtyPsn · 18/03/2016 08:40

And FXd for your testing pirsy keep us updated (scampers off to look at blogging sites)

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 19/03/2016 08:34

Thanks for your lovely words everyone. I may go back to the docs next month and ask if there's anything that can be done. Will try and see a different doctor as the last one was awful.
prty - glad my membership isn't cancelled Smile.
snowy - any update?

snowy1982 · 19/03/2016 09:05

kitten some very mild cramping, it comes and goes. DBAFD2 and unfortunately I have a strong feeling she is going to make her appearance as scheduled. Had been feeling so positive this cycle, the timing was right, EWM was spot on, DTD every other day including the day I got ovulation pains.... don't know what else I can do to make this happen Sad

PrtyPsn · 19/03/2016 10:37

Don't despair snowy an archer doesn't hit the bullseye every time. Sometimes everything is right but it still doesn't quite work, chin up lovely xx
kitten I do think it's worth asking to see another doc, don't give up hope x

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 19/03/2016 12:02

If I was an archer I definitely would have to decided to get a new past time by now

MrsKittenPie · 20/03/2016 09:22

snowy - mild cramps could be a good thing, I am still hoping for you. I know what you mean about not knowing what else to do to make it happen though, it just seems unbelievable when you have got the timings right and had ovulation signs etc and it doesn't happen - I just don't get it at all.

snowy1982 · 20/03/2016 09:34

Thanks kitten but I am definitely not getting my hopes up. Thankfully I have a busy day today so fingers crossed I won't have time to get down about it

PrtyPsn · 20/03/2016 13:01

I'm still thinking positive for you snowy keep us updated!
OH started to flag today, only halfway through FW but TTC is obviously taking its toll on him.

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 20/03/2016 16:04

Thanks prty, will do. Tell DH to man up Grin

PrtyPsn · 20/03/2016 18:59

Haha snowy he soon got over it! Though I did see him flinch a little when I mentioned I probably haven't ovulated yet... don't get me wrong, he does want a baby and does love me, I just think nearly a year on its starting to feel a bit of a duty some days.

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 20/03/2016 21:32

We all have those months when FW feels like a chore, just have to try and spice things up a bit when that feeling hits

snowy1982 · 21/03/2016 13:10

Regular as clockwork, again Sad

PrtyPsn · 21/03/2016 15:19

Booooo stupid AF :( hugs snowy spoil yourself to something nice today, you deserve it x

To make a bad day worse... took pups out for a really long walk to try and cheer myself up and got pooped on by a bird, have never seen so much poop come from one bird Angry

PrtyPsn · 21/03/2016 16:35

Oh no! It's really not your day snowy though that is supposed to be lucky if that help?
