Hi everybody heres my story been ttcbaby no 1since sept. I have long cycles typically 42days! been with my partner 12yrs..just had af on monday so am out for this yr ..but positive thinking new year new luck..ne ladies in the same boat want to share support/stories x

CD1 and hoping for a shorter cycle than my last one (or I'll be on a later bus!!!).
Off the pill in may. Started ttc in august.
Cycles 39, 33, 49 and 77 days so far! !!!

Etd: .... Well I have internet cheapies in my possession and I did one this morning hence I need to join you ladies to try get some self control back !
Af not due until 1st jan want to hold out til NYE to test.
Thinking unlikely this cycle as only really dtd 3 times and worried may have missed ovulation. As I had a colposcopy at start of cycle which came back clear and gave us the green light to ttc.
Still I am symptom spotting like crazy .

I'm 8dpo today like my cycle twin wee At least I think I am. I had a positive OPK and back pain followed by a temp spike. But I've been full of cold and my temps have been really up and down. FF hasn't confirmed ov at all but still hoping I did and it's just the huge amount of coughing throughout the night I'm doing which is affecting things!

Anyway, If I did ov when I hope I did I'm due AF on jan 2nd and will not says loudly in the hope of it meaning something test before then!

No symptoms as such. Boobs feel quite sore but that's not unusual for me after ov (another reason why I think I ovd).

All very frustrating!

Hi everyone! I've got some leftover wine and turkey curry to pass around the bus if you'll have me? AF just shoved me off the December bus, the cowbag. I'm 34, TTC #1, cycle 2. Early days off birth control but think AF due around 23 Jan. Nice and also not nice to see some familiar faces from the December bus. Crossing fingers for all of your New Year BFPs!

gin sorry to see you here. No idea what length this cycle will be. My shortest has been 33 days so far. That would be around 27th Jan. I am planning to do opks from Monday 4th (cd 10) just in case I have a miraculously normal cycle length.

I'm on cd 12. I've had 3 days of ewcm already. Last month I had a very late (supposedly) ov day. No idea what to think but just trying to shag when I can Nothing showing on the ov sticks but surely all the ewcm must indicate something surely?!

Fellow prodded here too - sore boobs started yesterday. Really tired too and super hungry, which were all symptoms last time I was pg. There seem to be a lot of us due AF/BFP on 1st Dec - is everybody going to test? I'm feeling a bit funny about testing on NY's Eve or Day.

Hello all! And sorry for those who've joined from the December bus! Boobs feel a little bigger today, but then with AF due in a week they would anyway I guess... Trying to wait until New Years Day to test still, this week could be painful...

I'm still waiting for a positive opk too kitty! I'm CD16 today and another negative opk today. FF thinks I'm due to ov around New Year's Eve though.

any advice from experienced opk-ers.
This month i got a positive opk on 9th (all day) and 10th (am only) December. I had a small bit of red bleeding on 25th and then nothing for 24 hours when AF started properly on 26th.
I don't temp for various reasons.

When do you think I ovulated?
10th, 11th or 12th?

Hi firstgo, there's really no way of saying for sure what day you ovd really. Temping can help pinpoint the exact date but OPKs just tell you that you'll ov in next 12 - 72 (I think) hours. Did you have any other signs? Pains or CM? This can also help but not an exact science - definitely not with me anyway! I hope this cycle is shorter for you.

Looks like a lot of us planning to test early NY - how exciting!

Hi first using the cm and cervix positions I would hazard a guess that it would be likely you oved on the 10th.

As soda said its hard to pinpoint it without the temp spike but my cervix normally goes back to hard and my cm dropps off on the day after I ovulate.

Hi everyone, I finally got a +ov on CD18/19 and had EWCM around then so hopefully that was ovulation. On CD23 now but don't usually ovulate late so not sure if that will make AF late too. Currently due New Years Day but not going to test so early this time. Don't think I caught it this month anyway but just glad I am ovulating. Hate the 2ww, hard not to symptom spot. Might give temping a go next month.

DH and I got married a few months ago and this is our first month TTC #1. We were staying with family over Christmas so didn't manage to DTD too often but I'm pretty sure I ovulated on Christmas Day itself so hoping that our sneaky Christmas Eve quickie will have done the trick. Due to test on 9th Jan but already slightly crazily symptom spotting. Have been feeling v sick for the last day or two but pretty sure that's just because of the amount of chocolate I've eaten! We are going away for a week over NYE so hoping that will distract me.

Keeping everything crossed for lots of BFPs on this bus!

Caved in and tested 5 days early like a moron, got a BFN. It was only an IC, so I might sneak a FRER tomorrow morning if I can get my ass to sainsburys. DH is away until tomorrow night, so haven't mentioned it yet to him, might retest in a couple of days but boobs feel normal and no other symptoms. Harrumph!

I think I'm going to test in the morning! I'll be 10dpo and I still have sore boobs. This was always my first symptom with my other pregnancies so I'm trying desperately not to get my hopes up but really really really wanting to see a faint line tomorrow!
