Hi everybody heres my story been ttcbaby no 1since sept. I have long cycles typically 42days! been with my partner 12yrs..just had af on monday so am out for this yr ..but positive thinking new year new luck..ne ladies in the same boat want to share support/stories x

gin how you getting on? My opks are a bit darker today - looking back at my photo from last month they are the same as they were a couple of days before my positive last time..... so you never know!

hello am new to this thread. This is my first cycle ttc for #2 and also, my first time using the Clear Blue OPK. So I got a smiley face yesterday which coincided with day 14 of my cycle and we dtd. today just out of curiosity i did the opk test again and there was no smiley face. am confused, thought the luteal surge was for 48 hours? or does it mean that I ovulated yesterday and so the window's closed now?

Welcome marmite I think LH surge lasts just a few hours, but happens 12-36 hours before ov.

Big congrats to those with a BFP! I think I'm ovulating today, but I just use an app on my phone, not a kit. Are kits better? This is our first time TTC so all is new :)

OMG! I have EWCM, vague tummy pain (?ov) and... THRUSH! Gargh!! I NEVER get EWCM. I think I must be ov'ing (cd21). Bloody thrush! Going to DTD anyway as DH away tomorrow night. Fingers crossed it's a strong little egg!

Still BFP this morning but its still so faint that I feel terribly unnerved. Last time I was 5 weeks pg when I found out so the line was reassuringly dark. This faint line just feels like it could disappear tomorrow! Especially as I have ZERO symptoms.

Just have to keep hoping and praying. Trying desperately not to think about it. DH and I arent really even talking about it cos we dont quite believe it yet and think it must be a trick.

Marmite they should be! I think sperm live for 3 days and the egg lives for 1 day!

Well.... I got a BFP this morning, although it was a faint line on a very sensitive test so hopefully I just ovulated later than I thought or things arn't off to a good start...hmm here begins the panic. ... been on the phone already to get my conultant involved but I guess a line is a line so today I'm pregnant

Bye bye January bus for me. After a few days of dark occasional spotting af reared her inevitable head yesterday evening alongside the start of a cold and feeling rather yuck in general. Would love to take myself off to bed with my electric heat pad and a couple of co-codamol but I have to get through work first!!

marmite sperm can live up to 5 days. When I conceived DS, we dtd on a Saturday but I didn't ov til the Monday
