Awwwww gin, we'll both ovulate soon I'm sure!

queenoftheworld93 · 09/01/2016 23:56

Congrats Anna!

Just checking in, how is everyone?

We have been managing to stay quite sane this month so far, probably because we weren't meant to be trying. We've told our mums that we have stopped til after the wedding Blush. So it would be a nice surprise! I estimate I'm 7dpo today, am usually testing now but am hoping to hold off til at least 10dpo this time.

Mimilicious013 · 10/01/2016 06:35

Congratulations anna wishing you a happy and healthy 9months.
Missed out on the friday night fun.hope all you ladies had fun.
Sorry for everyone who got af,best of luck next cycle !!
FX for those yet to poas, more bfps plz !
Cd13 here,a long way to go on this rollercoaster ride.

kittyvet · 10/01/2016 06:52

A little madness this morning!...Fed up with my CB monitor. Yesterday on CD 28 in middle of patch of EWCM it decides to go from High (where it had been 10d) to low despite the LH line appearing! Today it won't test any sticks! So annoyed I got out an IC OPK and put it on windowsill but it fell off down back of radiator into all the fluff!!! So at 6.30am I am loudly swearing at the radiator and frantically trying to retrieve stick! But it's gone and can't get it! I know it was pointless testing this morning but most def getting impatient to conceive now!!! If I don't ovulate soon I will be missing the Feb bus completely!!!

Celen · 10/01/2016 07:13

13 dpo and yet another bfn. Pretty sure AF will turn up soon the bitch bag so I'm just going to hang here until I have to catch the Feb bus Sad

kittyvet · 10/01/2016 07:47

Sad celen!

Mimilicious013 · 10/01/2016 07:53

Sorry kitty but u just made my day.its comforting to know that ttc doesn't make only me mad(i sure have my moments).keep dtd all same and fx

Lucinda15 · 10/01/2016 08:51

Congrats for the BFP!! Smile

Another bfn here, at 12 dpo - I know I'm not pregnant but gonna keep POAS until AF arrives cos I'm a sucker for punishment/clinging on to hope!! The due date of my first mc is in a couple of weeks. Was really hoping I would have something positive to think about instead of what would have been. Have awful pmt at the moment which hasn't helped - swung from raging to blubbering most of yesterday. Wish AF would just show up so it lifts!!

KitKat1985 · 10/01/2016 09:00

Meh, well despite my hopes of ovulating yesterday, (which I didn't tell DH as I'm only guessing), DH was apparently too tired to do the deed last night. Sigh. Not looking hopeful for me this month then.

hopinghopefullyagain · 10/01/2016 09:04

Morning all. I was on the beginning of this thread with a different username. I've name changed because my circumstances are quite identifying and we haven't told anyone yet that .... I'm pregnant! Bfp yesterday and today with fmu after a bfn on Friday night. Af not due until today so don't know what I was playing at testing on Friday night really but I couldn't resist. Congrats to all those getting bfps, many comiserations to all the bfns and fx to all those still waiting. Please don't give up, there really is always hope

queenoftheworld93 · 10/01/2016 09:18

Congratulations hoping! Hope you have a lovely relaxed pregnancy.

KitKat1985 · 10/01/2016 09:36

Congratulations hoping! Pleased to see some more BFPs on the bus now. :)

BindiBarbarella · 10/01/2016 10:08

Anna that is fabulous news!

Massive congrats to you and hoping for a very sticky bean :)

Got a positive OPK yesterday on CD11, way earlier than I expected and have only DTD twice this cycle. I got 3 positive OPKs last month so I'll wait to test later. Hopefully give me more time to BD!

BindiBarbarella · 10/01/2016 10:11

And congrats to Hoping too! Sorry I missed your post - wishing you an easy time of it x

Bugmuncher · 10/01/2016 10:20

Congrats Anna and Hoping!! Any advice?

hopinghopefullyagain · 10/01/2016 10:40

Bug muncher I'm not sure I'm the best person to be giving out advice as it took years - literally - for me to get pregnant with our first. In the end that time, I used the pink pad app to track my cycles and realised that my most fertile days were about 3 days after I thought. It took 2 months then. This time, we still used the app but dtd eod from day 9 to 19

MiniLop · 10/01/2016 11:18

Congrats Anna and hoping! We were overdue some BFPs on this bus!!
I'm 3DPO now and going mad with the 2ww. Why is it going so slow!!!! Think I will test next Monday when I'll be 11dpo. A whole week to wait!!

toadierocks · 10/01/2016 14:31

Yayyyy congratulations hoping such fab news for you, wishing you a very health happy nine months xx

Celen · 10/01/2016 15:47

So just because I love to live in hope (Confused) I was googling about implantation and how long after you could get a bfp. I've got my third day of pink/light brown cm. And I found the below...

Timing of Implantation
A pregnancy test detects the presence of the pregnancy hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) either in the blood or in the urine. The hCG in the urine comes from the hCG in the blood after it was filtered through the kidney. After ovulation, the egg gets fertilized and travels through the fallopian tube toward the uterus. This travel takes an average of a week. Implantation, the attachment of the fertilized egg in the lining of the uterus, occurs on average about a week or later after ovulation/fertilization, but it can happen as early as six days and as late as 12 days after fertilization/ovulation.At the time of implantation the placenta starts making the pregnancy hormone hCG, which then enters the blood stream. How early pregnancy can be detected depends on the pregnancy hormone hcG which can be detected in the blood about three to four days after implantation.Urine hCG can be detected about two to three days after blood hCG can first be seen.Detection of hCG depends on timing of implantation, so hCG can normally be detected in the blood between nine and 16 days after ovulation (HPT: 12-19 days after ovulation)

So, to sum things up, some women may not experience implantation bleeding (if they experience it) until 12DPO.After that, the HCG hormone detected in early pregnancy tests wouldn't be able to be detected for another 5 days or so. This means that some women wouldn't get their BFP until 19DPO

I've had an MMC after seeing a heartbeat which isn't common, I believe it happens to only 1.5% of pregnant women. I've had a completely unsuccessful ERPC procedure which only occurs to 5% of women undergoing it.

I guess what I'm trying to say is unusual things do happen so screw it, I'm going to ketep on hoping and POAS-ing til the witch bitch arrives Smile

queenoftheworld93 · 10/01/2016 16:08

Fingers crossed Celen! I'm convinced a positive attitude makes a difference.

Can't shake the feeling this is our month. I'm even avoiding wine (not like me Wink because I'm so sure. No evidence to base it on apart from being fairly sure we caught o day this time, and stomach cramps. Know it's too early to test but can't wait to!

toadierocks · 10/01/2016 16:51

celen (and all other ladies in the 2WW

This is for you
whenmybaby.com/implantation-doubling-calculator.php

I've scoured the internet to find this calculator - it's very interesting to see how just a few days can make all the difference and why some people test positive on 10dpo and others not till 14dpo Grin ....... also helps to whittle away a good half and hour!

Hope everyone else is ok, Sigh to all the BFN's but keep the faith queenoftheworld if you've got a gut feeling for this month then lets hope it works for you xx

Sigh to the hubby passing out kitkat ..... useless men eh! they've got the easy bit in the TTC business!!

Celen · 10/01/2016 18:20

What was I saying? Oh yes bloody AF has arrived Angry Angry Angry

Well, that's me finished for yet another poxy month. I think I'll go to the GP to see if they'll prescribe Clomid for me to see if that'll change anything. And go and get my ticket for the Feb bus Sad

kittyvet · 10/01/2016 18:38

Oh sorry celen! Better luck next month!
