Hi everybody heres my story been ttcbaby no 1since sept. I have long cycles typically 42days! been with my partner 12yrs..just had af on monday so am out for this yr ..but positive thinking new year new luck..ne ladies in the same boat want to share support/stories x

Thanks everyone! I think I'm 12DPO today; I had a positive OPK on 17th Dec. I was hopeful this cycle as I've had really sore boobs the last few days. I'm worried though as I've got cramps that feel like period pain. Just have to wait and see I guess. Sending the biggest best wishes to everyone still waiting for their BFP!

Pleased the Vit B is making a difference Anna I had ovulation pains this month which I've not had before so think they are definitely doing something.

mimi I had a random AF at CD18 before I fell pregnant in the summer, I don't think ovulated either, it was all very odd.

8 Dpo today. I may have to crack and POAS tomorrow morning before the NYE celebrations. Never had a BFP that early so seems a bit pointless really. Won't stop me though!

I have done 4 tests in 4 days. Blaming first timer keenness, all BFN. Not even a hint of BFP so not sure what I was expecting to happen! DH back to work so only home on weekends after Monday, decided not to check with an OPK this month (I get bad ovulation pains anyway so it's not entirely necessary anyway unless I want to check it's a sneaky bit of trapped wind) and just shag the whole time he's home, otherwise I'll throw a strop when he inevitably misses the "peak" time.

I'm doing dry Jan anyway which might help things along. AF due Friday and then end of Jan, so I'm gonna be hanging at the back of the bus symptom spotting for a while longer!

mimi nope no good news 😂 Tested again this morning at 12dpo, because I obviously like torturing myself! Used my CB digi. - NOT PREGNANT. Can't get much clearer than that 😂

So I'm nothing if not practical. I looked up the next few months and according to my calculations dh will be home at the end of March but leaving again a few days before I ov gah!! Well assuming my cycles stay the same.

My plan is to start using evening primrose oil every cycle and see if I can get my ov days brought forward. I did this when we ttc #3 and got it forward by 2 days, so here's hoping. Every little counts!

I'll still stay on the bus to hopefully see you all get your bfps 😊

Woohoo Guess! Officially first BFP of the 2016 buses! Great news and fx to all DTD and POASing at the mo. I'm only CD5 but AF has been merciful and stopped already so just jumped DH. Going to really try and DTD every couple of days this month regardless as an LH surge with no OV then a late OV really caught us out last month. Here's to many more Jan BFPs!

Can def see a line guess congratulations!! I'm only 3 dpo and going to try and hold out for as long as possible before testing as was so eager last month I did like 6 tests and it was all just too emotional!

Got 2 days of very positive opks on 26th/27th Dec and am temping too so am really hoping I ovulated as we dtd a LOT! I got ovulation pain so I'm hopeful!

This waiting is so annoying!

I'm not drinking nye as just don't want to risk it but it would be good if we could just see what is happening inside of us to be sure! Give my liver a break anyway I guess!

Wee I'm sure on another thread someone mentioned vitamin B-something brought their ovulation forward by a fair bit. I'll see if I can have a look but def in the last few days. You're still playing a bit of a lottery, so maybe wait till the month before and then decide? Travelling OH are the WORST

I'm drinking ce soir as I'm only CD6 so v low chance of OV. That said I will prob avoid getting completely battered... many people still drink right up until they get a BFP and things turn out fine. Last month I didn't stop all together but tried to cut right down in between OV and AF. I think it's a personal thing, there are different schools of thought.

I'm d18 today and 6dpo. I'm going to have a drink or two in the knowledge that, even if I am lucky and successful this cycle, I'm unlikely to have implanted yet so alcohol won't make any difference!!

Hello bluebell! Lovely to hear from you, how are you doing? I'm CD28 today and originally thought I ovulated on CD15 (positive OPK and temp rise) but then my temps dropped and have been all over the place. FF has now comfirmed ovulation on CD24 so basically I'm not really sure! I'm going to have a couple of drinks tonight but not go mad. I'll test on January 3rd (AF due then if I did ov on CD15) but if I ov'd on CD24 AF won't be due for a while.

Im cd3 thanks to the shortest cycle ever,so am definitely drowning myself in booze.gin and first,it's the only upside of having af showing recently.
